Honestly, White Night wasn't as tough as i thought. I did predict it would be easier than Apocalypse bird, but... Something unusual happened. The battle focused not on it's difficulty. It's focused, surprisingly, on exposition. It instead of showing battle against god, a clash of titans. And even if you'd think that "This is over, I can't win", No you can. With people behind your back, that can help you, YOU can overcome any difficulties. This is not boss battle. This is ART
I actually thought that we will be fighting Burrowing Heaven, Price of Silence and Blue Star before WhiteNight. Imagine having to deal with all those three at once.
Hey, we saw that in the intro. Angela being bound by yellow rope. As for the fight itself, I was not expecting to go directly into fighting WhiteNight so my crew was loaded up for an entire boss rush. Somehow won first try. Now I am excited/scared at what PM will throw at us for the Roland realization.

In the Library, Angela returned every single Sephirah as a Librarian for their floor except for Ayin, who she replaced with Roland. Remember that Riland also never went to his floor's office, and we never saw it ourselves. Also, consider the Abnormalities of that floor: Bloodbath, Pinnochio, Heart of Aspiration, Snow Queen. Some of these can apply to Roland, but they represent Ayin far, far better. (HoA represents how he steeled his heart throughout the atrocities for the Seed of Light; Pinnochio is how he mimicked Carmen's plan imperfectly; Bloodbath is his sorrow to Carmen, and Snow Queen is what he did to Carmen and Angela.) So Keter could very well be Ayin returning and causing them a revelation of sorts, forcing us to suppress the two of them. After all, Carmen told Angela to give everyone a second chance, and the only one who REALLY wronged Angela was Ayin. She still has not given him his chance. Another thing is that it'd be a nice nod to Hokma when he said that Angela can find someone who'll stand with her, and what better way to stand with someone than to fight with them? Man, next Friday cannot come soon enough...

TBH You can cheese this fight pretty easily with Xiao's passive that conduct heat between enemies if the status effect owner is staggered you can have rediculous stack of burn active on white knight at any given time ( I got 160+., but record for someone else is 600+ man those were fun.
a friend of mine got to 1900+ burn on the freaking thing. although a recent update made burn not apply to white knight so you actually have to try now lol (granted, still easier than some of the *other* realizations)
@@Silancet Just unga bunga bird with myo and stuff to buff her. Bird can't handle over 500 damage/turn. (Nikolai is so broken vs bosses since he amps all damage by 50% and has his own finisher that can do like 200 damage by itself.)

Is it bad that when I first fought this boss, I actually found the music extremely calming? I was raised in a Religious background, so the chanting actually almost brought a tear to my eye. It just sounded soothing. Gregorian Chanting will always be cool in my book
I think the theme is heavily based on the bible. More refined than in lobotomy corp. Since the only way to be free from sin and hell is through Jesus' death on the cross which is a sacrifice for our sins, similarly the only way to beat white night is through one sin and hundred of good deeds. Moreover, Hokma a firm believer becomes immune to all damage from white night which is similar with people believing in Jesus who are free from God's wrath. Although they're clearly not Jesus and God but just distorted abnormalities.
abnormalities is just a name for aritifical( sometimes) created concepts, which included created from mankind. But basically lob was creating demon manifestation to use them as energy source.
The ending of the song is the opening for "And then is heard no more". I'm sure this isn't hinting anything and is just the fact that Project Moon doesn't have a wide variety of sound sources... HOWEVER, I find it kind of curious, both the Crying Children and White Night are religion themed, and both have the same choruses...
Because Distortions are merely humans who have been overtakes by their emotions, many take appearance and power that reminds of Abnormalities. Hence why Oswald strongly remind of the Circus Ordeal of LobCorp, or why Bloodfiends resembles Nosferatu.

Not sure why the LoR fanbase seems to think that WhiteNight is supposed to be God when he's quite clearly the opposite lmao, just a fantasy version of Lucifer. If anything One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds is the Abrahamic God in this sense.
