Thanks Ed for all the valuable information, I am in the process of putting together some pictures for Kellyco on the largest Wheaties spill ever in one place, so far we are close to 100 Wheaties found in an area which now expands beyond the original area of a 12 X 12 a, but not far by much. The dates start at around 1910 and go up to the 50's. What a spill! We have been working this area for about 3 days now, this morning we pulled 52 out of one hole, and then I pulled 16 out of another hole, they just keep coming from where I do not know, When you grab a wad of dirt it sometimes contains 5 to 6 Wheaties in a wad.

Ed The Beach Hunter que pasa señor, además del tesoro, en julio me compré un minelab go find 60 que me regalo mi mujer pues me opere del estómago y era muy liviano y discrinaba ya que era para la arena seca, pero vivo en una isla muy muy turística y en un año solo he sacado dos alianzas de 3,1 y 4,2 gramos con el tesoro en arena mojada y 2 pendientes con el minelab en arena seca, me parece muy poco, creo que la falta de profundidad es la causa de tan poco oro. Estoy estudiando la adquisición de otra máquina y estoy dudando con la TDI y el nuevo equinox minelab. Me gusta el TDI, pero no encuentro un buen video de explicación del TDI, no se si sabes de alguno o si podrías hacer uno sobre su funcionamiento y botones osea tip's. Un saludo y gracias.

I too have the Barska Winbest like the one you have, and I've had great finds with it, even at ten inches for a penny in wet sand! It's only $44.00 at Menards, yeah cheap but it works for me. Yep, I'm gonna have to upgrade! No doubt!

Thanks for your great videos Ed. I own most all of the beach machines and do well on gold, but not as well as you. I have one of the original 200 (through the hole) pulse scan TDI's. Can I ask what your machine set up is for the beach? Do you run ground balance off or on? Ground balance setting? Pulse delay? Gain as much as possible and still smooth. And how do you set your target conductivity, low or all? I know you have to tweak the settings for each beach just looking for a starting place to get great depth and reduce the amount of iron dug dug. Thanks

Great video. Gray ghost headphones are not loud enough. Your TDI is great if you're young and strong. Lot's of digging with that machine. Do you think your next machine will be a CTX3030? Deeper than an Excalibur and water tight.

Love to see you try this again with tdibh, sl, pro, and df. If you can someday try df on a 18k gold ring: air vs dig a hole in wet sand, tie on string, and pull it up til you hear it. Mine was 8” air, 4” wet sand! Not good.

I watched your comparison and your air distance analysis and that was very interesting. I love the White's TDI Pro . I have two detectors and want to make this one the third. I live in Fort Lauderdale and love metal detecting on the beach. Sometimes we have heavy "sanded in" conditions where detection depth is paramount otherwise you finding nothing. Further, I am so sad that Whites is no longer. The Fisher impulse HQ will be out in July but the price they want for it is insane at between $2800 and $3500, but will be the most direct replacement for the TDI PRO. I have learned about the TDI PRO and how to avoid iron and dig only low conductors. Regards, Brittany.

Hi ED Mate I am currently using the Garret sea hunter Mk2 for diving and the problem I have is that when my ears fill with water I find it very hard to hear the signal its just too quiet . It also is difficult to keep a steady threshold when the water depth increases rapidly when detecting the bottom or a wave passes over the coil when in the surf. After watching your video Im wondering if I should try a sand shark .When you say it hits hard is it loud enough to hear well? and how stable is the threshold when diving? Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated mate I'm getting a bit frustrated with it and would gladly sacrifice some depth for a louder more stable machine. Ill ask you mate because I know that you will reply and you know what you're talking about. Kind regards Philbo

hello Ed , thank you for this great video . i have been so confused in choosing a metal detector. i was hoping to find just one detector that can do scuba and go deep . the tdi pro clearly looks luke the best on land . my question is this ? if you had to go scuba digging for deeper stuff underwater , which detector would you buy ? Also it Hits loud on Targets under Water, with the Air Bubbles making so much noise that's critical ! ! Also it does not go to deep. You don't want to be digging down 2 feet with a limited amount of Air in your Tank. You want Shallow targets easy to Dig and Cover as much ground as possible ! That's how you are successful in Under Water Treasure Hunting !! Good luck........
