i wanted the “RIP” to be a joke or something so bad, i just found out he passed away through this comment and now i’m heartbroken and in disbelief. WKUK has been a part of my life for so long
Man i just can’t believe how tragic it was that Trevor died of 3 self inflicted gun shot wounds to the head while also suffering body trauma on all parts of the body. I just can’t believe he would do this to himself.
Can't believe he broke every bone in his body, gave himself blunt force trauma to the head, chopped himself up into 9 different pieces, wrapped himself in garbage bags and threw himself off a bridge into a river. Dude must have had some demons.
You didnt watch the video, because he VERY CLEARLY told you it is ILLEGAL to say, "I want to kill the President of the United States." Very illegal. You should under no circumstances WANT TO KILL THE POTUS. Never. Dont KILL THE POTUS.

Also a dude who said he would murder his local sheriff “in Minecraft” and went on to talk about his firearms and make threats… then add “in Minecraft” to everything. Yeah he got locked up.
The fact they actually got investigated and it led to a Supreme Court case and they didn’t give a shit is legendary. RIP Trevor, thank you for the memories.

Trevor Moore was a comedic genius and one of the smartest comedy sketch writers and performers I've ever encountered, right up there with John Cleese in my opinion. We lost a legend.
He and George Carlin were among the best. I always though Trevor deserved more popularity and that he would get it after he was gone - but I thought that was going to be 40+ years off. Jesus his death hit hard. harder than any celebrity death I can recall.
I remember watching this skit one day, and the next day while doing a Google survey it asked if I ever searched the query "white house security" before? I laughed so hard because it had never asked such a loaded question before. I love this skit, and Trevor Moore you will be missed.
I believe you're right. You can say you "want" to do anything, including illegal acts. The 1st Amendment is pretty strong, and so far almost every time a case goes to the Supreme Court they rule in favor freer speech. Of course, that's irrelevant now since corporations control our speech. You won't be imprisoned - you'll just be another homeless person shooting up heroin on the side of the road.
You can also say "someone" should. As long as its non specific if it isn't an incitement for violence. Not a lawyer, so just do to the president as they do to us and find an activity or substance that is associated with politicians and make it a felony or schedule 1 substance.

Absolutely devastated to hear about Trevor's passing just now. What a comedic legend, who left us way too soon. Despite being a show for TV, it was clear straight away that TWKUK sketches were perfect for the newly surfacing RU-vid & online video era back in 2007. And thanks to their US fans who uploaded such clips online, millions of people like me in other countries got to see the brilliance of Trevor and co. I'm gutted I'll never have the chance to tell Trevor personally how much his work made me laugh, or how his craft inspired me as a young content creator all those years ago - something no doubt many others feel too. But his work is immortalised thanks to these digital times, so by watching & sharing his work with others, we can at the very least pay tribute by allowing his legacy & inspiration to continue. Rest in peace

A kid in 4th grade got visited by the FBI just by making a Facebook post that was more of a warning than a threat to the president over some decision he made
but not illegal to say "with an AR15" because that's its own sentence. it's an incomplete sentence but it may have nothing to do with the sentence before that.
R.I.P. remember when i first saw this as a kid and it was the first thing that popped into my head to rewatch after hearing of his passing. thanks for the memories Trevor Moore.
You can badmouth the president all you want, you just can't threaten his life. Its fair I would say because the FBI never knows if you are serious about your threat.
