It was a very healthy discussion,. What Shifali Ma'am told is exactly wonderful, that all political parties are trying to copy Modiji.

National party is not the party which win elections in every state. A party which secures 6% votes in at least 4 states qualifies to be called as the national party.

Bringing Abhishek sudhir was whose idea, man what a basket case he is, completely distorted the discussion.

Suhel Seth, Anand ji and Shafali ji made lot of sense. SP guy was just ranting and he brought in caste/reservation and what not. The moderator could have done a better job

What a disaster they made of this discussion. It resulted in the good old TV debate style arguments and name-calling. Props to Shefaliji for attempting to manoeuvre the discourse back to the topic but to no change. I had high hopes but it was your usual Adani this Ambani that thing... also literally no one wants Akhilesh Yadav to be a PM, don't know what that last chap was high on.

One of the lowest quality debates I have seen for a long time now. I still cannot fathom how an argument on reservation sneaks into a debate on state of political vaccum caused by the (lack of) opposition ! All I can say is that I am reminded me of this joke where a student has memorized how to write an essay about buffalo. Sadly for him the test asks for an essay about telephone. Luckily the student is also smart and so his essay starts like this: "We dont have a telephone at home, but I have seen poles in the road which have telephone cables. 1. "5000 years was not enough" was too funny. Should we count odd days or even days now. whatever, people who say "Hindu" itself is very recent. And India/Hindus never existed before 1947! Suddenly we hear "for 5000 years people were oppressed" (it is indirectly accepting that there is a 5000 years history), its hilariously blown out. So, if we consider their own logic, India is much older than 5000 years. Because "over night" nothing can be built (their own words). Wonderful people we have here on the panel. 2. In Russia when Communist party came into power, they nullified all caste like practices in one go. But for 70 years "So called socialist party" couldn't do the same, while they were hand in gloves with Russia since USSR times? Does anyone remember "India for sale times?" 3. While discussion was about Opposition... Through-out dibate, discussion gravitates towards minority, religion, caste, reservations etc... why? Was that initiated after or before 1947 (to think only in those terms)?

let me tell u that their is only one or a couple of breeds of cow which is indigenous to bharat which is protected by the constitution so what bjp did in manipur about beef was of different breed so they followed the constitution. Why don't the people accept the fact that Reliance took a bold step and brought the prices down of Mobile Phones and the call rates so that they could reach the entire country! When they talk about Ambani and Adani, they also should know that they also have contributed significantly to the development of the country. Let us take the example of the IT Sector Infosys, HCL, Wipro, etc., they were encouraged by the Government, they were exempted from Income Tax payments, they were allotted land at subsidized rates, and subsidized power bills, lower customs duty, etc., by providing such support, that really helped them to leapfrog the sector.

Modi has shifted the goal post of Indian political parties to proper priorities, performance and delivery. Apart from eliminating top level corruption which was becoming the bane of the Indian governance model hollowing out the nation. Parties got used to this sort of culture and the attendant double speak, opportunism, hypocrisy and artifice such a model entailed. Modi changed all that and the opposition parties are floundering and gasping not knowing what to say or do like a fish out of water. They simply blindly oppose and obfuscate anything and everything done and decided by the government again exposing and emphasizing their hollowness and lack of any real vision and competence to govern well a country like India

Agree that PM Narendra Modi should start growing above Rahul Gandhi and the Congress. It is not required, both RG and Congress have become irrelevant.
