Kirk Whalum's saxophone solo from 2:42 to 3:14 is genuinely one of the most transcendent musical performances I've ever seen. What he does on this song is the equal of what Whitney does with her vocals, to me. I can't believe I didn't mention him, but I've watched it back dozens of times while editing this and it's just jaw-dropping.

There's a lot of good singers, Mariah, Celine for example. But Whitney is something else, she hits the notes that make you cry. When she sings about love and pain, you'll feel that. The Voice forever ❤

I remember renting this concert on VHS from my local library back in the 90's and it just blew me away. This will always be my favourite concert of the late great Whitney Houston ❤

Her performances of this song are all so mesmerizing. One of my personal favorites is her in Japan in a red dress. Even though she was sick she put on a stellar performance. She was sick a lot during this era (IYBT) but she didn’t stop giving the fans wha they wanted. Also there’s a audio of her singing He,I Believe in Japan that is beyond phenomenal especially towards the end when she ascends into the stratosphere with her head voice. You should definitely take a listen to that audio.

As I told you when I recommended this song, for me, it's the most emotional rendition of any of her songs. The saxophone solo and the audience reactions are what really takes this performance over the top. The greatest singer of her generation. We miss you Lady.

I literally have an out of body experience whenever I watch this performance! Her vocal abilities are out of this world. And the way that man played the sax... Ya hands down crazy! You should check Lashaun Pace - I know I've been changed The video where she's wearing a light green outfit. Video has over 5m views. Ive also never seen a gospel song sung that amazingly.
