There's a guy who has his own channel and he covered this classic with perfection (and has a beautiful pitch just like the late and great Whitney, but with a falsetto voice). As for this version, all he did was just decrease the pitch to make it sound as if a male is singing it. It's decent', but not that great.
If I should stay, I would only be in your way So I'll go, but I know I'll think of you every step of the way And I will always love you I will always love you You, my darling you, hm Bittersweet memories That is all I'm taking with me So, goodbye Please, don't cry We both know I'm not what you, you need And I will always love you I will always love you I hope life treats you kind And I hope you have all you've dreamed of And I wish to you joy and happiness But above all this, I wish you love And I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I, I will always love you You, darling, I love you Oh, I'll always, I'll always love you
If I should stay I would only be in your way So I'll go, but I know I'll think of you every step of the way And I will always love you I will always love you You, my darling, you Bittersweet memories That is all I'm taking with me So goodbye, please, don't cry We both know I'm not what you, you need And I will always love you I will always love you, oh I hope life treats you kind And I hope you'll have all you've dreamed of And I wished you joy and happiness But above all this, I wish you love And I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I will always love you I, I will always love you, you Darling, I love you I'll always, I'll always love you
For some reason, listening to these pitched down songs make me nostalgic and remember my childhood. They make me both happy, and sad at the same time. But God I love them!
R.I.P. WHITNEY E. HOUSTON/RACHEL MARRON (FROM "THE BODYGUARD" 1992) (AUGUST 9th, 1963 - FEBRUARY 11th, 2012). YOU'LL BE MISSED FROM THE HEAVENS 2 ALL OF US, MY FRIEND. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, GIRL...SO VERY MUCH. ALRIGHT? WE ALL LOVE YOU. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
Courtney Elizabeth Te iu besc Sam Smith is a great artist in his own right. But he does not have the vocal range to hit these High notes without going into falsetto. That is the key difference.
@@TheSeriousAnalysist I am not saying he is not good. All I am saying is that he sings in a dfferent way. He can hit the notes for sure, but he will do so with falsetto. It wouldn't be the same thing.
I don't know who is the singer of this version but boy you did it in the most beautiful way a male singer could have ever done it. Awesome job on this mythic song by a never forgotten angel's voice. 👍
[Verse 1] If I should stay I would only be in your way So I'll go but I know I'll think of you every step of the way [Chorus] And I will always love you I will always love you You My darling, you [Verse 2] Bittersweet memories That is all I'm taking with me So good-bye Please don't cry We both know I'm not what you, you need [Chorus] And I will always love you I will always love you You [Verse 3] I hope life treats you kind And I hope you have all you've dreamed of And I wish you joy and happiness But above all this I wish you love
Listening to the range and pitch of this track, I would conclude that this is Whitney - slowed down to sound sort of masculine. Damn good attempt, but I've been around music for too long not to recognize this. I love it none the lest!!
If I should stay, I would only be in your way. So I'll go, but I know I'll think of you ev'ry step of the way. And I will always love you. I will always love you. You, my darling you. Hmm. Bittersweet memories that is all I'm taking with me. So, goodbye. Please, don't cry. We both know I'm not what you, you need. And I will always love you. I will always love you. (Instrumental solo) I hope life treats you kind And I hope you have all you've dreamed of. And I wish to you, joy and happiness. But above all this, I wish you love. And I will always love you. I will always love you. I will always love you. I will always love you. I will always love you. I, I will always love you. You, darling, I love you. Ooh, I'll always, I'll always love you
I know it kinda does sounds like a man, but it is still the actual female singer, Whitney Houston, only toned town to sound masculine because they edited using Audacity or some other similar program.
