Whitney Houston was a born star. she was a gift from mother Nature The golden standard of a females voice. everyone wishes they could sound like her, men and women. The world's greatest singer. She bragged because she was 'booed' earlier at the Soul Train Awards for SINGING POP MUSIC and NOT singing 'BLACK' enough ...(idk how blacks suppose to sing) She explained if you claim to be a singer then a singer should be able to sing anything. So she said 'How you like me now' 😅

I cry every time I see this performance!! One of my favorite live performances ever!! Another favorite of mine was when she sang live in South Africa when she opened her show with an old Stevie Wonder song entitled “Loves In Need of Love Today” another performance that brings me to tears!! I miss Whitney so much!! And so does the world. ❤️❤️❤️

You better react for another medley in AMA 1994 singing "I love you porgy, and I am telling, I have nothing" medley.. So incredible snd breathing performance. She got twice standing ovation on that performance. Its rare for an singer to have 2 standing ovation at the same time.👍🙋‍♂

Whitney was letting people know when she said "how do you like me now" regarding how she was criticized that she sound to Caucasians and abandoned black music. So she was saying to her critics " ha ha how do yo like me now."?! Whitney was a gifted singer and it wasn't about Black or Caucasian it was about singing from the heart. RIP Nippy we miss you!

Burnie, you should also add Whitney work as a back up singer (for Cissy, Chaka Kahn, Lou Rawls e.o.'s) from age 12 til the end of her career, work as a fashion model from age 16 til her early 20ties, film producer, acting in a few series, making commercials for coca cola and others, presentation work and the countless philanthropic efforts she made from her teenage years til her death.
