Whitney was just a natural, everything was so effortless. Her range, control, voice inflections, expressions while singing, no one has touched her sheer power and beauty before or since. I grew up on her music and while I enjoyed the heck out of it never fully appreciated the art form and historic talent that was her. Thank you for the music and memories Whitney, you are greatly missed!
Whitney's voice is a human treasure. Dead or alive, she is for sure the best female voice in music history. Whitney Houston was a born star. she was a gift from mother Nature The golden standard of a females voice. everyone wishes they could sound like her, men and women. The world's greatest singer. Whitney is a master of all the techniques, 1) resonance, 2) Vibrato, 3) Colorature 4)inflections 5) scaling up and down 6) natural 7)falsetto or soft soprano for a woman 8) throat, diaphram and head singing 9) Crescendo and decrescendo and breath control 10) staccato and perfect diction Than to top THAT, she was also physically the MOST beautiful singer to ever exist as well
Hi Max, thanks for stopping by and for your comments and support - much appreciated. More Whitney will come soon. Have a wonderful and safe weekend and plenty of blessings. Psyche 🌹🙏🏽
I truly miss her. I was in utter shock when she passed away, and when her daughter went right after, I was like no no no no no, this just can't be happening. Always been a fan of hers, such an exquisite singer. And she was still fabulous on her last record, even if her voice had suffered through the years. I wish she had not gone on that last tour though... I think it broke her. The pressure must have been tremendous on her, to hit all the high notes, then facing all the criticism when she couldn't. I believe that had she not gone on that tour she might still be with us and so would be her daughter, and she would be making beautiful albums for us to listen to. I was privileged to see her live on that last tour. I say privileged, even if her voice was not what it used to be, because she did her best and compared to many signers out there she still sang beautifully in Helsinki. Not like in the golden 90s, but still good. And the amount of love and respect in that arena was astounding. The crowd really carried her through and embraced her, knowing what battles she had overcome to be back, and I am really proud of my fellow Finns for doing that for her. It is perhaps the show, out of all shows I have seen, where I have literally felt the love in the room. It was electrifying and beautiful to see. And as happy as I was to see her once in my life, in retrospect I do wish she had skipped doing tours altogether and just kept recording albums because she still had a beautiful recording voice, it just could not take the strain that a world tour brought about. Nevertheless, she will always remain a legend. P.S. Sorry for always writing long ass comments, lol!
Please don't worry about the length - it's absolutely fine because they are all so well written, extremely informative especially for people who haven't seen her, and it's nice to get a view point from someone who comes from a different country - their perspective - it's truly wonderful - ❤️🌹
I'm really devastated. Whoever wrote this immortal song for her (I mean music and lyrics as well), was a genius. During this a few minutes I understood what love means to us, what love means to women, who was Whitney with her complicated live and why she was the brightness star in music space.
I haven't seen the video in years, literally cried when they showed her sad face when she sat down at the pool with Kevin Costner and she said "but at night, I come home and turn the key, there's nobody there, no on cares for me" damn girl. Loved this.
Oh I missed this great woman. Iconic and legendary singer of all time. Unparallel and incredible singer. So effortless and it doesn't ahow on her face that she is struggling.
Hello Nichollo - I know, but as I always say her body is not here but her spirit is and lies through her music. Thank you. 'so' much for stopping by and for support my channel. It means the world to me. Have a great Wednesday, keep safe and stay blessed. Psyche 🌹🙏🏽
Hello Daishia, thank you so much for your comment and for supporting my little channel. I'm up against the GIANTS! but I'm not for turning. May you have a truly blessed Sunday, keep safe and be happy. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹🙏🏽
@@Carmelmen1 Hi Daishia 🙋🏽♀️ Hope you're ok. I've just got up, it's 07.20 in the UK and it looks like it's going to be a sunny day though chilly. Lockdown eases tomorrow, so people are getting a little bit more excited! I used to be able to sing a lot and was actually trained (I also play the piano but badly) - but then they found little nodules on my throat and thought it was cancer so I had emergency surgery, it wasn't - but my voice was and still is bad to this day. Something I have to live with now. I can still sing a little but my voice gives out - even when I'm using my speaking voice and reacting sometimes it starts to fail which you can hear but I've just worked through it. Can you sing? x
This elegant young lady might enjoy hearing a teenage American girl sing this song on a German talent show on the RU-vid entitled "Unbelievable Voice, Diane-Run To Tou.The Voice Kids Germany 2017".
Hello strawberry bounce - bless you ! Well you are not going to believe this but I was supposed to play Whitney for an English/American TV production some years ago but lost the part because I was too small in height and they couldn't get round that in filming. So you were very close! Thank you so much for your continued support - amazing. Im not too well, got a cold/flu and I filmed a Limp Biskit track yesterday which goes out either today or tomorrow, and I burst into tears at the end but I decided to leave it because I am so overwhelmed at how everyone is helping me (the underdog). It is beyond incredible. strawberry bounce. Anyhow have a wonderful Thursday and keep safe. Psyche x 🙋🏽♀️🌹🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@psycheinc-theSLC wow how ironic! Lol I love it! Please react to ‘Twenty Foreplay’ by Janet Jackson, it’s one of her hidden best vocal tracks, I think the music video is gorgeous too
