This movie was mainly about Whitney and they got someone perfect to play her, she has her beauty. The “Whitney” they got for the Bobby Brown story looked like they found her at Walmart. 🙄
(sigh) Bet is just the place they put it on It will still have the same producers, Directors,writers(new edition)actors and overall crew. Bet and lifetime are just channels.the channel it's self doesn't make the movies, the people in the credits do.
Fun fact: Woody McClain (the man that played Bobby Brown in the New Edition Mini Series/Bobby Brown Story on BET) is serving as this Bobby’s body double. This Bobby, Arlen Escarpeta, is engaged to LaToya Tonodeo, who plays Diana Tejada on Power Book: Ghost. Woody now plays Cane Tejada, her brother. Everything is connected.
I see why they chose "Every Little Step" instead of what he originally performed at the awards then. This movie was about them and that opening song relates better than "My Prerogative" does. This was a real good movie too and the actors actually looked like how they were portraying unlike the Aaliyah movie. It just should have been called "Whitney and Bobby" instead of "Whitney" cause it wasn't a big life story, but a time piece on their relationship.
great performance. really want to see this biopic. I really don't understand why people can't see why Whitney wouldn't fall for Bobby. Without the drugs and the egos and tabloids, they would in my opinion, have been AMAZING!
Jane Rebecca Because they are looking at Bobby of today who has battled addiction, health problems, and depression from loss of six close love ones which lead to weight gain. We know the Bobby before this. He was sooo Fineee, Handsomeee, Hottt, Sexyyy and Charismatic. To know him, you would have to have known him. Whitney jumped on that work. I am not mad at her. I do understand. I wanted and fantasized about him too. Bobby was and still is my NE Man Crush 😍😍❤❤

They got the song wrong. Bobby sang "My Prerogative" that night, but I think this TV film did get the instant attraction between Bobby and Whitney right.
Two Girls I looked it up...and I see what your saying, but I doubt that only because they said that bobby brown voice was too high when he recorded, but ralph voice is higher than bobby's. So it really doesn't make sense to me. But hey its not my song.
I can see why they chose to go with "Every Little Step" instead of what he actually performed... "My Prerogative." The producers had to capture the essence of Bobby in just a few short minutes, and Every Little Step was the better choice to accomplish that task. For starters it's his biggest hit. Secondly, this song allowed them to capture his stage presence and unique choreography.
Actually his biggest hit was my prerogative, but I can agree that every little step is his most memorable hit. It ain’t his most viewed on RU-vid for nothing.
Vi esta película y gracias a ella se quiénes son Whitney Houston y Bobby Brown y sinceramente la parte que más me gusto fue esta y desde entonces me enamorado de esta canción. Wow, they made the movie look like it's from the 80's (not the setting, but in real life), especialy when you see Whitney and her friend in the audience.
