Yeah it really is. A general principle I use when chasing achievements is not to even use the relevant cards until I'm prepared to get as much use out of them as I'm aiming for. Sometimes that means I end up losing too fast and have to wait until the next game, but I still think it's a mistake to try to go too early and then end up getting those cards removed. It's my philosophy that you can practically never rely on a specific card surviving the opponent's turn.
