You need crazy speed and accuracy for that though, but that big of a kick should be kind of predictable since the user needs to wind up the power to execute such a big kick, I'd resort to an upper cut instead of that kick, since you still get to use the power of your legs in that punch and it's way faster and accurate.

Jin's kick is actually called a Brazilian kick. If you manage to catch someone off guard with that, you could slam your foot down on their neck and cause extreme damage
@@jestfullgremblim8002 question mark kick and brazilan kick are the same kick. It was first used by Brazilian karate fighters in Kyokushin, earning the name, Brazilian kick. Later it was used by Muay Thai fighters who probably took a cue from the Brazilian Kyokushin fighters and they started calling it the question mark kick. I know because I used to practice Kyokushin myself.
@@juanzilla6436 Yea. Lowering his body will give more power as more muscles can connect and could even be a one-shot but if the opponent dodges then he will be vulnerable for (though just by a little but still) more time. It's a high risk n' even higher return

@@xxTrickyidk i work a punching bag and it just came naturally to me but i do it a bit different, instead of staying on the same side with the fake kick, i fake kick one side and switch up to the other side like im doing a juke move with a human soccer ball.
@@rin-sv2sk 2 months late but that technique is basically a single motion roundhouse. Where as Jins kick changes angle half way through by bending the knee making it more like a Brazilian or Question Mark kick.
Hwoarang's back kick is literally an Mike Tyson KO shot when hit in the right spot, just imagine if the opponent is jumping then you land this to his groin 💀.

Jim’s kick is truly FLABBERGASTING!! I once tried that jin’s kick in sparring with my 6 year senior batchmate who was very experienced (almost 10 years, while I was only 4 year experienced), he was also 1.3x my height. But as I executed it with speed, it first confused him as he thought I was going for chest, then with a sudden thud I gave a leg slap on his face and everyone was clapping for me. I gotta say it’s my favourite kick and is really really effective. If the high side kick is a little less exaggerated, it's very effective. It's basically the same as a teep, but with more power. Jin's roundhouse is amazing. It's got a little downward angle to it. That thing will put someone to sleep.
THANK YOU! Everyone these days don't know a side kick from a back kick! Maybe because the way TKD does it, it looks to start off like a back kick but ends up a side kick Before it's fully extended.
In a streetfight I would never jump around… good earth contact balance and always straight to the target.. back and foreward looking for open positions to hit fast and hard … but also trying to hit hard his feet’s or arms … short hard quick … no mercy … 🔥🔥🔥
As someone who’s trained in fighting, Jin’s kick is the most practical, efficient and effective kick you could do in a real fight. It’s a question mark roundhouse that can be used in combination. The other ones are to slow and predictable and leave you exposed
@@neel6978Jin’s move set was originally based on some form of Karate. I think it’s still rooted in Karate, but feels less traditional in more recent games.
Weird, as someone who trains and competes, the exact kick we see in this video is not only not powerful but impractical. Hwaorang’s on the other hand I find the best. You easily close distance, you’ve got full extension, your kicks are thrown in between the opponent’s guard, and you can easily get back into stance. I’m utterly confused as to why many seem to think jin’s the most effective.
@@kewtheii6764 A really good spin back kick aimed somewhere like the throat, chin, or nose could straight up kill someone given the right circumstances, especially if it’s a counter. The question mark kick is really cool as a faint and it can work if your opponent takes the bait, but that’s a big *IF* lol
Jin's kick is my favorite, it probably hurts a whole lot, and I don't have to trip and fall because of my near total inability to balance or land. Hwoarang's is pretty cool though too
Awesome👍 One of my favorite movies is "Only The Strong". After watching it, I learned Copoeira from Eddie Gordo, Tekken 2. I learned to do all but 3 of his moves, including the combos. Yesrs later, I changed up and mixed it with my two other favorite fighting styles and morphed them into one style with a particular Art Form. Put on your favorite video game fighter, practice mode and Rock-Out. That's You!!
The second one because it's the fastest, the most practical, the quickest recovery and good power. That last kick looks like more of a distraction. And the first kick if dodged is a liability because you can't change direction in mid air. That being said, dude your skill is amazing!
That back kick is dope. Would definitely choose that one. The difficulty ratings seem to be backwards though. The 540 kick is actually very easy, and Jin’s question mark kick is much harder.
Short, simple and fast kicks are the most effective, fancy spinning stuff is essentially telegraphing your intentions to the opponent 3 seconds in advance.
Glaube Feitosa (lead kick) and Francisco Filho (kick with the back leg) proved in K1 for those who have doubts that the mark question/Brazilian kick is the most effective.
