Got shout out to Patricia Arquette as KRISTEN PARKER in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors. I belive that was her first major role and she slayed it. So disappointing for her not to return to ANOES 4! That was not her fault she blew up after that movie, and she asked for more money allegedly not that much and they went w a different actor and it just wasn't the same. She'll always be Kristen to me. I have special place in my heart for her character and the movie was beyond awesome! 💓

Agreed she and her character were great in that film, but it’s perhaps for the best she didn’t return for part 4 because it was very much an inferior installment compared to Dream Warriors. It also would be nice to hear her talk about her experience making it. Whether her manager’s or her own choice she seemed to want to ignore it as being beneath her which is not uncommon for actors who start out in that genre and become bigger names. Dream Warriors is probably the only truly worthy sequel to the original (my opinion) and was a really solid and entertaining movie in it’s own right.

p.s. I think the chemistry between her and Heather Langenkamp worked very well in DW.

@@tomorrowmorning8360 ITA. Adding, Heather L.( Nancy ) and Patricia A. ( Kristen) in every scene they had togther made for cinematic gold. It was just rare and they worked exceptionally well together. Patricia A. aka Kristen had an innocence about her that really stood out, it was perfect, she gave the chatacter life. I was thinking about how much of a Box Office smash "Dream Warriors" was. Imo one of the best ever made! It was number ONE at the box office for 3 weeks ( if my memory suits me right.) As for ANOES 4 "Dream Master" Renny Harlen wanted to kill off the last of Elm Street kids right away. I guess he wanted to cut ties w the other films and start off fresh so we got Alice, great in her own right but didn't impact audiences and fans like Nancy and Kristen did. Yeah if they remake it again I'd go for Dream Warriors! Why does New Line Cinema have A Nightmare on Elm Street sitting on the back burner. I feel it's time for Freddy Krueger to make a comeback already It's long overdue!

The streakers were so uncomfortable. If a talk show how gifted a male guest female streakers would we find it acceptable? Stop using gay men for womens entertainment either. They are not props.

Context is important. The streakers were her friends. She wasn’t paying the to perform. It was their choice to do it and she was receptive to it. Consent, power dynamics and motivation play a part. Blanketing everything as the same is unhelpful to fostering equality and equity.
