I almost forgot about this movie. Now I have at least four more highly anticipated movies left this year unless I'm forgetting something. Gonna be a great year for horror. Actually were only half through the year and it already has been. Fingers crossed that the rest are greats!!
A quiet place day 1 Maxxxine Longlegs Trap Alien Romulus Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Terrifier 3 Smile 2 Nosferatu Shelby Oaks These are the big titles still yet to come. But there are tons of other films I’m stoked for like Cuckoo and Nightbitch. And I’m sure there will be a bunch of surprises that I haven’t even heard of. We still have half a year left.
There could also be prequel elements to this because it takes place in Brazil and the wife of the teacher character from the first movie mentioned him spending time in Brazil or something
I love how creeped out you are by the smiles, Kali! Its hilarious. Im so so excited for this, im so glad its not becoming a direct to video release- im also glad mental illness within the entertainment industry is being spoken on within the story as Kali said. What I loved about the first was how the sound design enwrapped the visuals- I hope this one does the same, and I would love to see a mass unaliving by the Smile demon at the concert omg that would be amazing
I don't scare easily and that trailer made my skin crawl. That whole thing with the dude seeing something behind the woman that she could not was horrifying to me. Probably because I have had an experience like that. I am very eager to see this film.
No chance this was going to get pushed back. Studios have several movies that need to be released in the next two years and pushing a movie like this back into next year would only complicate things. I wouldn't be surprised if the release date is moved up a week or two.
Oh, i wanted to tell you folks of a great trilogy from denmark. The "pusher" trilogy. Dark, crime thrillers that follow 3 seperate stories. Really, the best of it's kind.
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 Very cool. I had to look that up. You knew better than I. One other that I rewatched last night. "The reflecting skin", I could be almost certain you've seen it but not seeing much on RU-vid about it.
That scene in the Trailer with Skye who's the characters name in the movie Even tho her real name is Quinn Parsons in the movie. But the scene where she is running in that Little hallway from Her I guess Fans that's she's Hallucinating. The way they were all crawling together towards her is Probably going to be the Most Horrifying scene of the Movie but either way I'm Hyped for this one
I do hope theres a Scene when shes on the stage dancing everyone in the crowd starts smiling at her and that causes her to panic on stage infront of everybody and then everyone will be Concerned of why she was panicking on the Stage
If that guy hit by the truck is really Kyle Gallner, does that mean that he died before the Smile entity possessed him? Because it looked like he was running away from something. Hopefully we'll learn more about the curse.
I love that she is famous..so of course everyones always approaching her smiling...i admit it ...i will be hyper smiling at strangers even more when it's out...i already do because i an such a menace lol xx
So many scenes in this trailer look comically bad, but I thought the same thing about the first Smile, and it turned out to not be as ridiculously stupid as it looked, so who knows? I also didn’t think Smile was very original and it borrowed heavily conceptually from It Follows. It was more enjoyable than I expected it to be, but it being derivative of It Follows made me roll my eyes quite often. And I didn’t love the last 15 minutes or so of Smile. This is one I’ll probably wait to watch when my local library gets the Blu-ray or DVD, or when it hits steaming-whichever comes first.
I kinda loved the demon reveal at the end of smile 1. I agree the plot borrows from previous films but cant that b said about like 99% of films that come out? Tough to come up with something completely original. I personally thought the acting was top notch in the first movie. Loved the scene at the nephews bday party
@@patrickcolantuoni1724, I just felt it was pretty blatantly derivative of It Follows, maybe more so than your average new horror movie borrows from other horror movies. Don’t get me wrong, it was much better than expected. I thought it was going to be a complete dud. It was decent/pretty good. But what I didn’t like really stood out for me.
