The real biggest mistake in the Cell Saga was by Perfect Cell himself making the Cell Games in order to make a big way to show off instead of just finishing the job against the Z Fighters. He definitely has their DNA in him. Makes the same dumb mistakes. lol
IMO it's not really that dumb as Cell was created to be the ultimate fighting machine so it kind of makes sense for him to want to battle and test out his strength before killing everyone right away.
Goku made the biggest mistake in this arc. If he took the medicine like he should have then Dr gero and 20 would have been defeated straight of the bag and all the other event would have unfolded the way they did. Saying that the Z warriors wouldn't have gotten stronger and no super 2 for gohan
You know who else messed up? 18 and 16 for deciding to stay on the same island that cell and Vegeta was fighting on instead of running while they were fighting

You can argue who made the biggest mistake, Krillin or Vegeta, but Vegeta easily takes the cake for the whole ark. He didn't train properly with Trunks in the time chamber. He let Cell turn Perfect, and when he finally decided to show affection to Trunks, it cost Gohan his arm. Let's also add him getting wrecked by android 18. That, and Krillin's "mistake" was the best descision he ever made.

In the manga, semi perfect cell after Gohan forced him to vomit 18 immediately bloated himself to prepare for self destruction. In the anime, so much filler and during all that, Trunks or Piccolo could’ve killed him easily with own blast, especially Trunks Reason I don’t say Vegeta is due to his pride
People like to forget this whenever they're doing this weird ass fumblympics shit for the Cell Saga. Every other mistake made in this arc was either a miscalculation or inaction. Vegeta was the only one to ACTIVELY STOP SHIT FROM GETTING BETTER. He told Bulma he'd KILL the bitch if she or anyone else tried ending the arc early by killing Gero. He literally, without any way of semantic-ing his bitch ass out of it, HELPED CELL TRANSFORM. Trunks was gonna kill Cell, and Vegeta whooped his ass for it. Trunks had to make him fuck off just to focus and by then, Krillin fucked up by not killing someone who hadn't done shit but break some manbaby's arm. Trolley Problem or whatever. It's Vegeta. It's always been Vegeta.
Goku giving cell the senzu bean was the biggest mistake. It ended up with him dying, giving his son PTSD. I get why he did it but holy crap was it not worth it. Krillin he got a happy ending, Even though he did mess up by thinking with his little head it ended up with him having a happy marriage. Vegeta has to live it down by being humbled in front of the other Z fighters. He got his ass kicked hard in this saga. Let me know if i made any mistakes, its been years since i seen the show.
Uhm, no, the senzu bean did not end with Goku dying, any little significance the bean may have had went out the window as soon as Gohan stepped up to the plate. First, as ssj, Gohan was pacifistic and unwilling to fight Cell to kill him so he wouldn't have killed Cell any faster there. And, entertaining the notion that Gohan even still became ssj2 at this point for reasons I'll explain in a moment, he also wasn't going to kill Cell any faster without the bean because he was enjoying hurting Cell too much. Now, as to why I said if Gohan even still went ssj2 if Cell hadn't gotten that bean. Imagine if possibly Cell manages to set his ego aside and plays it safe rather than sorry after Gohan describes his latent power that comes out when he's in a rage. Imagine Cell, being already damaged from his fight with Goku, decides he's not going to entertain the notion and just ends Gohan, whom again isn't even fighting back at this point. Then they're all just screwed. So in regards to the bean, that was literally either nothing that actually affected the outcome of the fight, or quite possibly it was a miracle that actually saved them all. You wanna talk about mistakes that led to dire consequences, Vegeta letting Cell transform literally led to everything that happened while Cell was perfect.

If Krillin shut Android 18 down with the remote control, he still had to destroy her because if he didn't, then Cell could still absorb her and she couldn't even try to run or fight back. Maybe Krillin could've shut her down, grabbed her and took off under water or the opposite side of the island where Cell vs Vegeta were fighting until they were out of sight instead of sitting there for 1-2 minutes head spinning...or instead of worrying about Android 16 Krillin could've totally hidden his power and Android 18 could've carried Krillin because she's way faster (Krillin would know where to take 18 to hide which is why they should escape together, perhaps Krillin could've taken 18 to hide in the hyperbolic time chamber to train with Piccolo so 18 would be much stronger and Piccolo would get much stronger than he did training by himself) while Trunks was distracting Cell after blasting Vegeta away (a small window of opportunity),then Krillin could've came back for Android 16 after making sure that 18 was hidden. It wouldn't be Dragonball if the heroes & villains didn't screw up massively 😉.

I really feel like the sayain instinct to fight is like the male instinct for sex. As a kid you can't fully grasp your male instincts, so these mistakes really stand out. Everyone mistake small but still there not in order. 1. Yamcha- didn't tell the guys about android 19 & 20 showing up and wanted to do it by himself and not telling them about the energy aspotion power 2- Tein didn't pull off the ki Kaho on a weaker cell and waited for no reason until semi perfect cell transformation instead of imperfect cell who was running piccolo pockets even tho he showed up early to help out his mans piccolo 3- Trucks look it's hard for some to not understand but remember he pulled up on android 18 who at these point to his knowledge folded the z fighters in there first confrontation in this timeline and in his own killed the z fighters and his master gohan but instead of killing her right there and then he told her to leave for some reason and he did not know or care if krillin Love her. And before you ask he got all hostile against 16 ready for action and body the man's for no reason all because he was an android. 4- Piccolo he could have killed a weaker imperfect cell but didn't and let him get away. 5- vegeta just had to let his ego win and let him get his perfect cell form and we all saw how that wait. 6- Krillin sold the hardest you know why because to his knowledge and everyone else's knowledge they killed him in the future and body his homie and even stayed they going to kill his day one homie Goku in front of him but folded to a kiss on the check. Not a kiss on the mouth not a moral conflicted reason a kiss on the damn cheek just tragic. 7- Goku didn't take his heart medication and didn't understand that gohan didn't want to fight and throw cell a sensu bean fighting against his own son. 8-Gohan he just had to kill cell and move on but had to enjoy it and got his father and even trucks killed. 9- Android 17 just had to leave but had to boost his ego and we all saw how that went. 10- Android 18 just had to leave 16 behind and run far away but we all saw how that went. 11. Cell just had to push that gohan button and we all seen how that went 12- Gero just had to threaten the android 17 and 18 and we all saw how that went.
A lot of disinformation in this. 1) Yamcha immediately yelled for everybody else when he realized he found 19 and 20, at which point he was immediately grabbed over the mouth and freaking impaled. Then when he was revived with a senzu the first thing he did was tell the guys that got him out of the city about the energy absorption, but he was already way away from Goku and everyone else, how you expect Yamcha to tell them about it? 2) You mean when Piccolo had taken all the androids WAY away from Roshi's island after he told everyone to stay on the island close to Goku while he dealt with the androids? 3) That was filler though, in the manga Cell spots 18 right when Trunks steps up to stop him after Vegeta lets him go, at which point Cell immediately uses solar flare on them, that bit where Trunks comes up on 18 doesn't happen in manga. 4) I really doubt he could've. It's not established anywhere that he could've. But even if he could, information was more important at the time. 5) absolutely sold the hardest 6) 2nd 7) stop taking TFS as gospel, the medication was never to prevent the virus, Trunks blatantly calls it a CURE, meaning something to help AFTER he already got sick. And the sensu bean legitimately did nothing to negatively affect anything. In fact if it did anything it probably helped. Imagine Cell hears Gohan's yarn about his hidden power when he rages and instead of entertaining the notion and trying to bring out Gohan's power, Cell decides to finish it quickly being unwilling to risk it being already damaged from his fight with Goku.
The biggest mistake of all was at the very end, in the epilogue. Trunks returns to his devastated future, reunites with his mother, then goes and kills Androids 17 & 18 (was it ever explained why those were so very evil in his timeline [which, remember, was the _original_ timeline!] and neutral at worst in the main [divergent] timeline? And also the difference in power levels [the divergent {main} timeline versions being stronger than the original {Trunks’s future} timeline]? I have a headcanon about that). Then he goes outside where he knows base-form Cell is planning on jumping him and stealing the time machine. _He should’ve let him do that!_ Faked his death and let Cell go back to the past! That would’ve meant only the _1_ divergent timeline! That’s how it originally happened! (Maybe it does in the manga? I’ve not read that.) But because he killed that Cell right then and there, a _third_ timeline diverged, which is the timeline that in _Super_ gets invaded by Goku Black leading to a duplicate of Zeno himself coming to the main (itself _divergent,_ remember!?) timeline. The _original_ timeline hasn’t been seen since and presumably would still have its own Zeno and still exist, not having been erased by its Zeno. Which brings us to who the most powerful character in the whole franchise really is. Not powerful in terms of _fighting_ ability, but in _real power,_ ability to affect reality itself. It’s Zeno- wait, no, _not_ Zeno. *Bulma!!* She _invented_ the time machine, which even the _gods_ said was impossible. That time machine, _her_ doing, _created_ the _main timeline_ of _DBZ_ (from 4 years before the Cell Saga when Larval Cell arrived in the past and diverged the timelines) and _Super,_ including _all of its universes!_ She _duplicated_ (or more like _triplicated,_ though we only ever saw the duplicate [see above]) *Omni-King **_Zeno himself!!_* In terms of the effects on reality that her actions and intellect caused, she’s _the most_ powerful being in _all_ of the timelines as well as universes within a timeline!
Both of those androids could have just escaped but there was a lot of egos in the way and pride. And the Bible speaks on pride. That was why they all fail, krillin fail the most and cell end piccolo's fighting career.

Vegeta is flawed by his pride and feelings of inadequacy compared to others. In situations where those can be a factor for that to screw over everyone he will be to blame 90% of the time. Goku is naïve, inattentive, and greedy for a good fight but will only fuck things up about 75% of the time isf those factors come into play. Piccolo struggles to express his feelings, isolates himself from others, and lacks social skills to properly motivate/ lead others resulting in his difficulty trusting others to carry their weight(he is more often than not proven right though), he fucks things up less than most at about 25% of the time but they are some big moments and they often feel out of character when he does it. Trunks and Krillin are both flawed by seeking approval and love from others though Krillin wants a romantic relationship and Trunks wants a parental one, they each have a 33% fuck up rate. Gohan's problem is inactivity, he doesn't stay in shape, step up on time, and keep his head in the game. He is probably the 3rd biggest fuck up amongst the main cast but you don't notice because he doesn't actively make things worse just passively about 80% of the time. Bulma is the last member of the main cast I would say is fucking things up but 1st place at 99% for fuck up rate, she involves herself in dangerous situations but lacks combat skills, wastes resources on petty things instead of investments for the future, always thinks she knows better than everyone else, and never actually seems to make any real attempts at self improvement.

I mostly agree, but you're wrong about Bulma. She suffers from stupid-sexy comedic sidekick syndrome in Dragonball and grows _a lot_ in DBZ. She's also one of the richest people on the planet, so she can spend as much dosh as she wants - Capsule Corp makes more money than she and all her friends will ever need. Lastly, while she's terrible in an actual fight (ever since guns stopped being useful, back in Dragonball), she IS a genius and has enabled Goku & co. to save the world more than once with her inventions and the Dragonballs. Among many other inventions, she's the one that made the time machine, as well as the training chamber that helps Goku level the playing field on his way to Namek. Plus, she's given Vegeta a family to care for and a reason to fight for Earth, which also helped things on occasion. Frankly, she's a fantastic character and has more than pulled her weight across the franchise - just not during a straight-up fight, since those aren't her thing. I'm also pretty sure she's the one that pays the bills for Goku's family, if I recall one specific episode correctly (it's been 20 years, so I'm not sure about the details, but that was the impression I remember having).
Look, the power of cyborgusssy was off the charts. It easily overwhelmed Krillin and the man had no choice! Turned out pretty well for him, though. It's how he got himself a loving & hot wife and an adorable daughter in the aftermath of the Cell Saga. As far as mistakes go, that result ain't so bad.

Nah Vegeta's mistake was definitely worse than Krillin's, because Krillin didn't want to hurt anyone, while vegeta could've easily destroyed cell but let him do whatever he wants. So Vegeta's is definitely worse

Krillin probably knew android 16 would kill him if he tried to take away 18. And the best chance was to negotiate with them. If Piccolo had tried to negotiate instead of fight first, that would have been actually useful. Piccolo actually messed up more imo than krillin.
I’d say each of these mistakes have more nuance to them besides Vegeta’s. Piccolo, when fighting Cell and 17, knew that he shouldn’t go all out until he knew his enemy’s tactics. With Cell, he could’ve easily gotten stabbed and drained by his tail. In fact, piccolo’s arm does get stabbed, and if it weren’t for his regeneration ability, he would’ve actually lost the fight. Instead, he chose to fake his defeat in order to get Cell to monologue his entire plan to him. I’d say the Cell fight was more of a W leaning draw than an L. As for vs 17, Piccolo saw what happened to Vegeta when he bum rushed 18, so he knew not to blow his energy trying to kill 17 right off the bat. While Piccolo knew Cell would’ve shown up, he didn’t know just how much stronger he would’ve gotten from slurping up fodder civilians. I’ll lend you this, he should’ve fought 18 if he wanted to kill one of Cell’s pieces of perfection since she’s stated to be weaker than 17. Krillin’s L is bad, but it has better reasoning than just wanting 🐱. So far, the androids had made a point to kill Goku before anyone else and android 16’s acquired affinity for nature had rubbed off on them. Krillin wasn’t going to kill a genocidle murder robot, he was going to kill somebody who came to realize that they can be a person again. That was what was too much for Krillin to follow up on. This mistake would’ve literally been unforgivable if 18 was guilty of attempted genocide. Vegeta literally has no good excuse for helping Cell. He was just being a selfish bastard and it backfired. The end.

I understand that Piccolo should've known that Cell would sense Piccolo vs 17 fighting but it was only 1 day after he first fought Cell, he didn't think that Cell would've gained as much power as he did in 24 hours, I think you're being a little too hard on Piccolo but you're pretty much right.... Piccolo could've maybe taken 17 to fight inside of the time chamber, using that as an excuse so their battle wouldn't destroy islands or anything else on earth. Vegeta and Trunks were still training in the room of spirit and time aka the hyperbolic time chamber but we know that more than 2 people can enter the time chamber because during the Buu saga Majin Buu, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks were inside the time chamber (Goten and Trunks fused inside the time chamber) so we know that more than 2 people could've gone inside the time chamber, there wasn't enough food for more than 2 people to stay there and train but Piccolo and 17 would only be inside for a few hours at the most, less than a minute on the outside world. Piccolo and 17 seemed to have some respect for each other so maybe Piccolo could've explained to 17 and 18 who cell was and that he planned to absorb them, telling him about the battle he had with Cell which 16 sensed and would confirm this fact also telling 17 and 18 that they should make a plan to hide or train to get stronger than Cell.
100% Vegeta. Vegeta's reason for wanted to let Cell achieve perfect form is every bit as selfish and stupid as Krillin's. I give Krillin more of the benefit of the doubt because what he did was *refuse* to murder somebody who, while not innocent, hadn't really committed any crimes worse than petty theft. Whereas the person Vegeta passed up on killing was a mass murderer. (But then again, so is Vegeta.)
The o my mistake piccolo made was not ending Cell immediately after finessing information from him, other than that, he deserves the number one award of that arc. He fought an unknown giant green roach and challenged 3 androids DOLO, that’s purebred gangsta 😂lol, hand his jersey and turban up in the rafters.
When Cell did the solar flare move, I'm pretty sure that the whole incident took less than a second, maybe 2 seconds, it just looks slower so the audience can watch it. Think about how quickly Krillin and Master Roshi we're fighting in the World Martial Arts tournament in Dragonball, faster than the human eyes can see and they were millions of times slower and weaker than imperfect Cell. Imperfect Cell was weaker than Piccolo after fusing with Kami but Cell still was able to catch him by surprise and grab him from behind and drain his arm...some say that Piccolo planned that whole thing so he could find out who Cell was but I'm pretty sure he came up with the idea of surrendering to Cell [in that moment], asking him who he was and why he came to their time so he could use the time to gather energy to regenerate his arm, and of course find out who Cell was. Piccolo came up with that idea either while or right after his arm was drained.

Not really BS, he has Piccolo's regeneration except amplified by Saiyan energy. I don't think the anime covered it but the manga made it clear that his head is the only important part to strike because he can't regenerate without it. His regeneration abilities are frightening because he can basically trigger his own Zenkai boosts.
I dont think you explained your self right in the piccoko vs 17 fight,piccolo could have been quite holding back to preserve energy in case he had to fight the other androids,the same way he hid the light granade until cell appeared,althought it was quite a fumble i dont think it was that much,also gohan could have killed cell right away when he goed ssj 2,and also vegeta tryng to be a good father almost costs the whole battle when gohan loses an arm. But they allowed the one vs one cause of 17's ego so he had a chance to beat one of them, Gohan's mistake wasn't as bad, cell couldn't go to another form so there wasn't as much on the line as piccolo's, Vegeta, and Krillin's mistake. and I'm glad we agree on the last one. Also I mentioned in the video piccolo's mistake vs 17 wasn't as bad.

Especially trunks who was determined to not let it be a repeat of his future also would've just killed cell. Too many variables to come to one conclusion cell would've self destructed. The video is about who made the worst mistake not what ifs.
Why shouldn’t Vejita kill Cell? Yes, his Saiyajin pride had him throw everything to prove his superiority. But that’s not a good reason at all. Yea it’s in character, but it gives Vejita the greater error than Kuririn.

No, that reasoning is flawed even if gohan never went ssj2 they would've still unlocked a higher form since no one unlocked ssj3 but goku did. Implying they would've still got ssj2 at some point anyway. No one was a match for majin buu even with the events you said happening but gohan ended up stronger than buu still and he never trained. Krillin did put the universe at risk still

Kuririn didn’t want to kill an innocent. If 18 was swallowed first, he would not do that to 17. Vejita was intent to kill Semi Cell and decided he wanted to make him stronger.
Goku giving Cell a senzu bean did absolutely nothing to negatively affect the outcome and is literally nothing compared to Vegeta not killing semi perfect cell.
Krillin destroying 18 could've actually made things worse. Cell would've found out how to farm Senzu Beans while scurrying around the planet undetected. We already know he needed... what, one or two Zenkai boosts to not even *need* 18 to stay Perfect?
He needed to become perfect for his cells to remember his perfect form so when he self destructed and regenerated he would regenerate into his perfect form again.
Trunks messed up the time line also made a big gap in the time line just by going too the past then back too the future too kill all the androids and cell he was too far gone
