I believe he really loved Maureen, & I think their split had more to do with losing their son, & possibly him losing his great friend John Bonham. Losing a child has ended many marriages. If it was his supposed cheating, why did she stay as long as she did?

She probably kept hoping he would eventually settle down and behave himself. Eventually she realized that was never going to happen and gave up.

Robert Plant is my all time favorite singer. His voice is so unique and I love it. I enjoy watching the drama he includes in his performance. I also really liked alot of the music Led Zeppelin put out, but also enjoyed his solo career. I especially love his version of "If I Were a Carpenter," no one sings it as good as him. I know alot about him because he is my favorite artist, but would like to know more about his children. This video barely touched on it.

The one thing I know about his children, they each are in the music industry, in some way. I did see a video that said what each were doing, but I can’t remember exactly. His daughter married a man that either did or does play in one of Roberts bands. Oh I think his youngest son, works in the recording booth, can’t remember doing what though. Sorry, that’s the best I can remember.

The fact he had real life problems is expected especially with groupies and women literally throwing themselves at him. He isn't a saint but a good man now.

Strangely I have an uncle in England who has 5 kids, 4 with his wife and 1 with her sister. This happened in the late 60's. It's amazing but they've all always been close, the sisters are also close, and today their grown kids (and grandkids) are always around all of them. One of my relatives went to visit recently and they were all there together at the house :)

I have a friend who married her sister’s ex husband and they went on to have 7 kids. He was 20 years older than my friend and her sister and parents were ok with the union.

Plant has had (and continues to have) a career that most rock singers/frontmen can only dream about. That said, the Plant Family dynamic (which he created) sounds pretty messed up.

Singer Mary Wells had three kids with Cecil Womack and later another child with Cecil's brother, Curtis Womack. Cecil later married Linda Cooke, daughter of his family's mentor, Sam Cooke, and they had a large family. Linda's mother, Barbara, was once married to Bobby Womack (brother of Curtis and Cecil). Bobby and Barbara had a son together named Vincent. Barbara also had a son named Vincent with Sam Cooke. That child passed away in a drowning accident when he was a toddler.

At one time, right at the beginning of Zeppelin, Robert went and lived with his sister in law in a caravan. Can't remember the dates but in the early 70s. We all thought he'd gone crazy. His wife was beautiful.

EXACTLY..and how did he get so short?! He was 6 foot plus..taller than all of his band mates..now he's about 5'9 if that..I think it's a double..I don't think it's really the original Plant.
