Who are the top 5 golf instructors on RU-vid? There is a ton of good (and some bad) golf instruction at our fingertips on youtube, but what channels are the best? Golf Quest breaks down the top 5 golf instruction channels on RU-vid and rates each of the channels in three categories.

I like your list for sure. I almost put top speed in…. Really like clay Ballard. The tie break for me was that he usually teases his paid site and I’m not huge on the upsell. But he does have great content for sure.

This is very well done. Admittedly I don't follow too many golf instructors on RU-vid however after watching these and listening to your description I think I am gonna give Porzak and Maude a try, their instructions seem very down to earth. Thanks for putting this list together.

I love the golf instuctors on RU-vid. Has helped me tremendouly. So in no particular order: Eric Corgono. He's first because he was the first one I watched. Love the guy. Chris Ryan, Alex Elliot, Russel Heritage, Danny Maude, MyShortGame, Meandmygolf, Milo Lines, Rick Sheilds, Saguto Golf and of course the great Clay Ballard of Top Speed Golf. Can't go wrong with any of them. Sometimes a video clicks, sometimes not. One can really change your game and that's what Eric Corgono did for me. GL going down the rabbit hole.

Of the ones you mentioned I’m only familiar with Me and My Golf and Danny Maude. Danny is definitely deserving of a top five spot. I’ll check out the others. Thanks for making the list and thanks for your content as well. Others I would put ahead of everyone in your list would be Peter Finch and Rick Shiels. They’re top notch. I find it a odd that you used both of them in your thumbnail but didn’t even mention them. Why did you do that? Anyway, lists are fun, they generate conversation and interest and introduce people to new things so thanks again!

Yes, I put them in the thumbnail as many people associate them with online golf instruction and I'm trying to draw people into that discussion. There are others in the pic as well that didn't make my top 5. Rick's channel is the best produced golf channel there is - period. However, I don't consider him a top instructor per say. He's solid, no doubt, and good for beginners, but I don't think he is one of the best overall. If I was doing a list of top 5 golf channels he would be number 1. Pete Finch I kind of throw in the same category. Thanks for the comment and for checking out the channel. Appreciated :)

A bit gutted my favorite instructors (Shawn Clement, Mike Malaska and Milo Lines) were not mentioned. I will check out Porzak Golf however; never heard of him before.

Danny Maude is by far the best golf instructor on RU-vid. His content is well put together and he is best at explaining the mechanics of the golf swing.

I've seen some of his stuff and I agree he seems solid. Not as polished of a channel but high on golf knowledge which of course is most important. Thanks for the comment 😀 - appreciated.

Danny Fraud as he's been described by other RU-vid golf teachers. Rips off their lessons and passes them off as his own. Way better golf teachers then Danny Fraud. Adam Bazalgette, Eric Cogorno, mike malaska, GRF golf, wipe the floor with him.

Although that’s a funny name I don’t see that. I get that there is a lot of overlap / similarities in golf instruction but that is with almost any channel. Of the ones you listed I personally think GRF is the most “unique” but still not revolutionary. But I get that everyone is going to have their own personal favourites. 100% Maud is a total idiot, you can actually find the lessons he's copied and then watch the way he butchers them, check out when he uses a balance board, it's funny but also very embarrassing

Maude is literally the worst anywhere, other RU-vidrs have actually made up fake content, fabricated language etc and Maude has rehashed it within hours, he never has any lessons with any continuity, it's all tha absolute bollocks that's ruining the game for millions, total rubbish from you

Don’t hold back lol. Well it’s fine to disagree. Subs are only one measure but I do think it’s difficult to grow a channel to his size while being “rubbish”. There is also lots of overlap across RU-vid because there are so many channels. Having said all that, if you have real evidence to what you are saying please post the links and I will check them out.
