Unfortunately, many Afghans will freak out when you say they are “Iranic”.. they literally don’t know the difference.. regardless of what our ethnic terminology is, be it Iranic, Aryan, etc.. we are definitely connected more than our older generations taught us. I’m so happy to see our generation spreading knowledge about our similarities. Hopefully one day we can see past our differences.

I grew up with Iranians who came to my country over 45 years ago. They spoke Farsi and I would get to know the bad words and food quite well. Kabob Soltani, Kotlet, Doogh were some of my favorite things to eat. Anyways I owe a lot to one family in particular for taking me in when things were extremely tough at my home. Thanks! ✌🏽

I'm 13 and I from Pakistan. my mother and father both have many vast ancestry . my mother is a dehliwalay . it is a ancestral caste . in this caste a group migrated from ancient central Persia which had indo European origin to modern day sindh and they went further up into west Punjab (modern day province of Pakistan ). the locals began calling the group kshatriya and my mother's side ancestors were warriors and chieftains until the end of mughal empire we were called khatris and went to utter Pradesh and Delhi or Haryana from west Punjab in order to find business opportunities. but after partition all my family came back from india to Pakistan in Lahore then Karachi we then changed our name of caste to dehliwalay. my mothers side also has roots from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan . my father is syed and has roots from arabia, Iraq,north india and western deccan so basically I'm Pakistani,indian,Iraqi,turkic mongol central Persian and eastern euphoria,Arabian and .

I agree Iranian doesn’t always refer to persians. I kind of think of the identity of Iranians similar to Turks. Kazakhs, tatars and Turkish people are Turks. The word turk doesn’t always refer to Turkish people. I even think this similarilt to Iranians. All Persians are Iranians but not all Iranians are Persians

There are theories that there a lot of iranian genes in mıdern bulgarians. İ myself am with green eyes but dark skinned with curly hair do şt makes sense but also it can be thracian genes as well. Many people are dark skşn tonned wirh bright eyes or dark eyes. Bulgarians def have nothlng to do with slavs anymore or at least at 90 percent. we do use slavic language after all out of convinience, but thats because we used to have an empire full with slavs. İn any case Greetings to İran from Bulgaria. I’m Australian and I think that Iranian women are the nicest, smartest, most courageous, most beautiful and have the most amazing sense of humour. I knew nothing about Iran until I fell in love with an amazing Persian woman about six years ago. I thought she was one of a kind but after meeting many of her Iranian lady friends I’ve come to believe that a large percentage of their women are incredible. They are brought up in the old fashioned way like our parents or grandparents were. My parents who are in their mid 80s, I in my 60s and her in her 50s just adore her because she does all that old fashioned cooking and pickling that our grandmother use to do. They have the most beautiful skin and are so attractive. If you let them know regularly how wonderful and beautiful they truly are. You won’t find a better partner anywhere. Iran has 80 million wonderful people and about 1 million bad people, about the same ratio as any other country. It angers me greatly and brings my better half to tears every time the Americans say they are going to attack them. My girlfriend listens to all their news in Farsi and they don’t back as many terrorist organisations or do even half the things they say they are doing. The Americans and British use to steal their oil and gas and once the Iranian people found out what was happening they kicked them out and the Americans desperately want to take Iran because they had the largest reservoirs of oil and gas in the world and after 43 years of sanctions which has only made the regime richer and all the poor people, mainly women and children suffer and die in many cases. But because of sanctions, they haven’t sold their oil so they still have massive reserves the Americans want. The Americans have always hated them and just out of spite when the embassy hostages were released an American warship shot down an Iranian passenger plane with 360 civilians on board and just said, oops. Only two days ago Lindsay Graham said,”Let’s hit Iran now.” He should be audited because he pushes and pushes to attack Iran for no reason and I guarantee he gets massive bribes from the military industrial complex to lobby the government for a war with Iran. People like that are no good for the human race to put up with. Anyway the majority are really nice people and don’t deserve to spend a century living in fear. Most of our engineers of all types in Australia, the best doctors and dentists in the world. The US has no business in the Middle East and are just Israeli puppets. Israel wants to expand their territory into Syria and Lebanon and those countries are allowed to have allies, the same way the USA and Israel are allies. They happen to be allies with Iran and that seems totally fair to me

We Indo-aryans have nothing in common with middle-eastern cultures like Iranians, be it language or culture. Also, Indo-aryans are the older branch of Indo-Iranian branch of Indo-European family, the Iranian branch is younger and migrated a lot later than Indo-aryan branch. Sanskrit is from 2000BC, while Persian is from 600BC and Avestan is 800BC. Persian culture is more similar to Arab culture, but I am happy that they have etched a rich identity apart from Arabs, civilizing both Arabs and brute Turkics. We Indo-aryans have more in common with Dravidians than other groups.
