I've always had encounters with God, sometimes I tremble when I remember them. But I struggled with identity for years because people would treat me like I wasn't good enough and I had believed them. But God put me in isolation, exposed the lies, and filled me with the truth. Nowadays when I go out, I always tell myself that I'm loved, approved, and validated by God regardless of what people think or say He's restoring my identity in Him.

Pr. Bee3 just summarised how I have felt my entire life since I discovered I was an orphan. Even when I became a born-again Christian. I had to work extra hard. For a long time I had the mindset of "I have to be excellent. I can't afford to fail." It took my biggest mistakes in life for me to learn how much I am loved by God and family and real friends.

Pr Bee3, all the things you have spoken, are exactly, exactly the life I have lived for the past 19 years. I even feared to give my comment at first. But from now on, I embrace my identity in Christ as a beloved child of God. May God bless you.
