I can see how Catholics can be free to agree/disagree on many different policies or economic reforms throughout the political spectrum. However, I just cant see how a genuine, well-meaning Catholic could vote for a woman that not only wants to allow abortion, vasectomies, etc., but also fully supports it.
Cuz the man denies climate change and many of us have read the meta-analyses, not to mention the woman likely has little power to make change so long as the justices are in place and the man has stated he won't change the status quo any further
You’re saying that as if Trump is somehow a more preferable candidate. Yes, Dems certainly are far from ideal but republicans are only consistent on the issue of birth with Catholicism. Trump has engaged in extramarital affairs numerous times, it’s dishonest and has been convicted for it, supports policies that negatively impact the environment, cut support for the needy, reduces healthcare for the sick, actively opposes regulation that would reduce the leading cause of death for children (guns), and dehumanizes migrants. These are extremely antithetical to Catholicism, it’s strange that so many become infatuated with the issue of abortion that they neglect every other issue present. At this point, you could have a pro life Satanist win the Catholic vote against a democrat priest simply over the matter of abortion.
The way she and the others talk about the unborn babies makes me sick to the stomach. The fact it's even needed as a voting point in the republican side makes me feel like no matter what, little ones will die
And I can't see a genuine, well-meaning Catholic voting for a man being convicted of paying off a prostitute, selling a Bible with his name on it and who treats christianity like a political tool
It’s unfortunate that we are left with two laughable candidates. One more laughable than the other of course, but still laughable nonetheless. Unfortunately, the way in which our party system has been setup and the hostile rules that make it difficult for other parties and candidates to run for presidency and other political offices(the House and Senate), I don’t think we will ever have a Catholic Party with Catholic candidates established. Would be great to see one day. A man can dream.
Donald Trump is fighting for life. Kamala Harris supports abortion in the ninth month. That’s how radical she is. The life issue is number ONE. Without life you have nothing else.
A Catholic cannot licitly vote for either candidate other than Trump; a choice not to vote is similar in efficacy to voting for Kamala and RFK Jr. thus the only licit action is renouncing citizenship and moving, or voting for Trump. Remember what you fail to do can also be sinful.
