It’s using the same move twice, so that makes 2 moves. Same with Lucas. ONLY ONE MOVE IS ALLOWED, AND IT CAN ONLY BE INPUTTED ONCE.

@@RightFaceTurn That isn't what that rule means. That rule is referring to moves like Pikachu's Quick Attack, which has multiple activations within a single use. What you are suggesting is that Ness use a second Up-B, which is against the rules.

Sora could probably make it if you did side b and angled it to the northeast, then straight up 2 times and drift, or angle to the northeast again, then up.

But the side B after Up B counts as 2 moves. Only 1 move is allowed. Plus, the triple Side B would count as 3 moves, so triple Side B after Up B makes 4 moves.

Funny point to bring up: only three of them actually made it up and transposed Kirby to the platform they came from, so if we use that metric three succeeded with one in grey for getting Kirby off the platform but not in the right position to take out place

So question: In regards to somebody like Villager or Isabelle why can you still repeatedly alter their course with their balloons and it count but you cannot allow Jigglypuff or Kirby to use multiple inflates? You still need to hit the button multiple times for them to increase their height with the balloons

The rule is one move one time, not one button press. Thus, jumping multiple times is not allowed. Pressing buttons to move Villager’s balloon up is part of Villager’s up special. However, if you prefer, you can just hold the B button and he’ll go up as well.

Not sure about Pikachu and Pichu. Yes it is one move, but requires two movements in that move. As for King Dedede, I swear I saw him attempting to walk to do his move foward. And Falco B Up doesn't go as far as Fox?

The rule isn’t worded the best and definitely sounds like it would allow that. Prowder just meant things like Shulk up special swinging twice and stuff like that. In the case of Ness and Lucas, they are using up special twice, so it isn’t allowed. It’s like if Sora did side special after up special (not allowed).
