Who Can Pass Over Final Destination (UPDATED for Mewtwo Patch )

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to what the ranking system means. Basically long story short, the higher the level, the harder it is for the character to get across and grab the ledge. The lower the level, the easier it is for the character to make it over. Just think of it like the CPU levels in Smash Bros.

Nop, Bowser for example doesnt get invincibility when he grabs the ledge, meaning he truly did not touch the ground. Mario doesnt get invincibility, but luigi does because he touched the ground.

The invincibility comes back if they don't touch anything for a long enough time. At least I believe so.

Craft2299 Its odd considering how after re-watching the video, I've noticed Link and Giga Mac also gain invincibility, yet they were no where near the ground. Still, it is a mess up at my part and I can see the misconception. I'll try to see if its possible for Dr. Mario to get across without the invincibility frames.

Balloon Boy Now that I watch it, you are right, he did touch the ground. But it is possible as I just tried it in slow mo with no invincibility frames, but that means it's very possible for it to work in normal speed, just very hard.

A few notes for Wii Fit Trainer If you mash B while using her up B, it gives her more height Her side B gives you a midair stall which makes the trip easier If you use those tips, i think she's more of a level 3, maybe even a level 2

I don't understand your rankings. Like I get what they mean, the higher the number, the harder, but the numbers seem arbitrarily assigned to each character? Why was Ike's number higher than Marth's when Ike was able to make it more easily. Marth had to use his recover at the very last instance whereas Ike had more leeway so why was Marth awarded a lower score? Why was Shiek's score lower than Diddy's when they had to go through the exact same process? I don't get it

bob Zie The ranking system shows the difficulty of it not how many steps it takes its like the CPU difficulty and keep in mind that they did the jump perfectly (more or less) and they didn't show the fails if you think that one score is wrong try it on the game.

I tried this out with the three new DLC characters and I can confirm that Lucas, Roy, and Ryu can all make it across. Roy however, is incredibly precise and difficult and took many attempt at 1/4 speed. Ryu is pretty difficult as well, requiring you to use the combo the Tatsumaki Senpakyuken and hold it down followed by a Shoryuken, and even then it's pretty hard to land. Still nowhere near as difficult as Roy though. My rankings: Lucas - Level 4, Roy - Level 10, Ryu - Level 7. Let me know what you guys think!

SnivySomnia The higher the level, the more difficult it was to get them to the otherside of the ledge. The lower level means they mostly have too many recovery options or their recovery options are so big, they mostly broke the scale. The higher levels don't nessissarily say if their recovery was just barely or not, but rather how difficult it was for them to grab the ledge on the otherside.

+cwjakesteel Actually, it does show significance. If you have watched previous videos of characters being able to make it from one ledge to another *UNDERNEATH* the FD stage, you'll notice that certain characters with the greatest aerial ability and recovery can make it, effortlessly. Shiek, ZSS, Kirby, JigglyPuff, Peach, and even Palutena all display the ability to do this. As for what this video is testing out (the significance of characters being able to make it from one stage to another while *airborne*), I don't know. :P

With Sonic, if you use some pro techniques, you can replace the double-jump with a spindash that will probably take you all the way across the stage, making it a 2 or 3 rather than a 4.

Mason Stooke Grabbing the ledge is the hardest part. Although he has fewer steps, trying to get that ledge is the tricky part.

Rosalina can just short hop once off the ledge and then up special towards the other side. Level 1 if you ask me :c

Why did oilman get rank 2 with 3 pikmin? It's easy to reach the ledge AND you fall faster so it is harder to punish, therefore it should be rank 1!

Have just tried on 3DS, but Fox can easily go over without using Fire Fox. Either jump->2nd jump+fair at peak->fox illusion or jump->2nd jump near ground->fox illusion near ground. No precise timing needed.
