This race on FM6 was the very first FailRace video I watched, and I’ve been a subscriber ever since. I got a lovely little wave of nostalgia when I saw this pop up in my inbox

I blame the paint job. That Mustang was the same color as the Evo in the first two races. Dark red paint burns more fuel.

I remember Jeremy Clarkson describing the evo's fuel tank as a pipette. If it was me, evo would have been my pick, because i remembered it had a tiny tank.

Its funny how the replay doesn't know that you can run out of fuel. So the infinite burnouts and, midrace drifts are always funny.

Had it been real world scenario with stock engines the countach would certainly have been a contender. Its most natural habitat is the gas station.

If you really wanted to you could boot up with 100% fuel, check the fuel capacity, then math so everyone has the same fuel; kind of a pain but it could be done assuming that you can see liters of fuel in the hud. I haven’t played so I don’t know if it possible

Always a fan of American muscle bricks... The two Ford Gts racing had to be my favorite bit. That Jaguar reminds me of an axolotl 😅 I'd love to see more replay perspectives, this was rather entertaining.

I can confirm that the V8 Atom does indeed have a small fuel tank (around 38 litres) and also, when driven hard, does about 4mpg 😂

An interesting challenge for sure, many different strategies compared to a normal race.

I'm pretty sure my grandma's Fiat Punto would do well in a race to run out of fuel. 20% would be just 8 liters of fuel. Blasting 100 km/h on 2nd gear uses 60 liters of fuel per 100 km. So it would make just 13 and a third kilometers.

One of my favorite challenges you guys do! Not sure why everyone is complaining about camera angles when it’s the only way this video works. Keep it up Alex and filming crew!

that photo finish is one if the most Failrace-y things to have happened, and we have have plenty of those moments so far

For the Photofinish i think a draw is fair i think. The alfa got further along the track, but it also stopped sooner on the track as it is just that much longer

Next challenge should be half the field in identical slow cars who are paired up with faster teammates, but the slower cars have to produce the fastest lap by drafting off their teammates, basically the opposite of the pushing challenge, i.e. the pulling challenge on a few high speed circuits that aren't any kind of oval (not even a tri-oval!)

I'm so glad that replays are finally sort of working. I've missed the more overall looks at challenges and vs the community races

I wonder if theres a race you can do here: wait for first car to run out of fuel, then winner is first person to complete the lead lap though it may turn into an endurance race of everyone trying to not be the first out and having enough fuel to punch it to the end.

Did the BAC Mono driver have clutch engaged? If so, I'd think it would roll longer compared to those driving with no clutch or automatic?

What about the Bugattis. Seems that big 16 would be terrible on fuel.

Would have been great to have 1 more race at the end, a proper race but with those cars, for 15 or more laps so now they needed to save and pit.

Wondering why no one just took an excessively powerfully engined car and PI dropped it with maximum ballast and power mods(focusing on intake mods and avoiding exhaust level mods)... Throw in a gearbox with excessively close ratios so you have a max speed of like 150kph... Turn every remotely straight stretch into a rocket blast to redline...

Next race idea everyone as just shy of 1 lap of fuel (trying to make it so the car rjns out of fuel in the start line) and have a race to see who can get the furthest without any fuel

I had a Mitsubishi X Sportback with a 150 Hp Engine and even that was empty after around 330 km German Autobahn😂 So yes,a Evo X wins this every Day against any Car😊❤

I wonder if fuel tank capacity is a tracked attribute in ManteoMax's Forza spreadhseets... if so, it would be interesting to see a video in the vein of "how far can you on x gallons of fuel". Or, as the case may be, "How fast can you consume x gallons of fuel"? I would have tried a Bugatti. Giant engine, AWD, heavy-ish chassis. I recall from when it hit the market that it if it could be run flat out indefinitely, it would consume its whole fuel tank in about 4 minutes.

if you wanted people to drive fast, you could have made it inverse points (meaning if 20 people, 1st gets 20 points, and 20th gets 1). When you run out of fuel, you get points for what position you're in, then times that by what order you ran out of fuel. this means if you're the last, you may still be in "1st", but you'll get less multiplyer for being the last to run out, where as the first person who's in 1st will get the most if you don't use this idea, I might just use it with my audience ( unless you want to collab? )

For those complaining this was the bread and butter of failrace for years, we get it, you want to see someone faster than you beat thr competition, this ain't that kinda channel boys, go watch supergt or other channels dedicated to obliterating noobs like yourself.

this is a dumb idea for the next time yall do this, make an annoyingly oversteery build so as soon as your gas runs out you can spin out and loose all momentum

Not going to lie. I prefer the onboard camera. Feels more immersive and personal. Replays feel like im disconnected from the experience.
