I remember you talking about not being taken care of. I have been listening. I heard you talking about things that children go through and they shut out the abuse. I wish I could shut some of it out. It was Christmas and I was about 22. I had been a rebellious young man and had not always done the right thing. When I had let my father down he would not let me go on vacation with the rest of the family. I was always left at home. On Christmas he asked me to come over to him at the bar in the kitchen. There was a picture album with picture from all the places they had been to. He started flipping through the pictures and talking about where each picture was. “This is in France. This is in Italy. ….”. Then he looked me right in the face and said,” you would like to go hit you just can’t, can you?” I am not normalizing it but I wish I could erase some of the trauma. I think he was still mad because he identifies me with losing the Vietnam war. I was born on the day the war stopped. He never acknowledged me being born on that day. I worked through it and he is gone. He got cancer when I was not taking to him and he passed away. I would give anything to see him again and tell him I love him. But I can’t.

Very good Rabbi. I was also betrayed after given everything of myself to my mariage. It hurts so much. 10 years later and he still breaks me now for the house and money. I want to die but now one would pray for me, they say you must live. But I am to old to start again. Not anymore have I the force. Please pray for me. I thank you for you words. I blessed you and I blesse Israël and his people. ❤

Consistency. Seems to be important. My mother moved our family(dad just went along)every other year for no apparent reason AND the in between year my dad didnt live with us. When mom took me to see my dad, I was about 5, I overheard her talking about putting me up for adoption and keeping my sister. I was always on high alert. Except for the quiet times by myself when G_d would comfort me, reassure me.

It is difficult to trust sometimes for a lot of people. My trust is pretty low due to a stressful childhood. I trust my husband of fifty years but thats about it. I think trust is something that builds with time. Even if the trust is broken for some reason, once in a blue moon trust can be built back, sometimes.

I'm only 2 minutes in and you have already spoken exactly what was in my head.... Lol I'm learning to trust again after coming from a toxic environment. My mother was the type to never trust anyone.... So it took a very long time to learn to trust myself. This has merged into, I trust a lot of people once I've gotten to know them but the real question is, trust them to what? Lol.

Shalom, we can trust Yehoshua Ha Meshiach, the complete Torah-, the complete sacrifice who took our evils upon Himself and had victory over all our pride because His Ruach Ha Kadosh is Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh, paid our judgement of death which had no power over Him because He is life. We can trust Him. He delivered me from terrible family abuse, taught me to ask for their forgiveness so completely that it wouldn't exist on judgement day, He forgives me and has always continued struggling with me to return to Him in His roots to follow Him the only Good Shepherd. He has been my best friend, teacher and Elohim of mercy , compassion, absolute justice, understanding and incredible love, humility and truth. I thank Him because He has never given up on me and He has never failed to love me though I have failed Him. I know I can trust our Meshiach to lead me and love others because He shows me my wrong, my fears, heals my brokeness and helps me help so many because of what He has done for me and I owe Him my faithfulness, live, trust and allowance to change me so He is seen and others feel and experience His love and desire to return to Him and know His healing power of forgiveness, healing and love

No one is to be trusted. However, treat others like a friend. Just don't trust them with your personal life, finances, mental health, and integrity. Be sober especially around people you can not trust. Trust God. God is perfect and worthy of being trusted.

I so much agree but can’t help thinking it’s nice to trust people, I have a bro I can trust with most things money and personal things ect and I find this comforting, it’s nice, not that he’s perfect but that he’ll try his best, I can usually trust most people, just to varying degrees and with different things, it’s true tho G-d can be ultimately trusted in intention, wisdom and his infinite perfection. G-d will make no mistake, or forsake the trust invested in him.

🔥 Wow Rabbi! Spoken as only you can speak truths so deep and pausing… I must request you forgive me for being so honest and forward to ask to contemplate on the poor soul that didn’t have the chosen-ness from the womb. Meaning some of us, and I include and exclude myself for purposeful reasons where we’re all different. How does one that May be chosen explain to one that is “not”, how to manage life as usual though they weren’t “privileged as the Kings son! Though I cant remember anything before 3, let’s say some could remember disputes in the womb or unconsciously recognize the vibes of “tunes of life” du to their 9 months or less of “safety”. Though trust me I know your concepts are general and non harmful intending, I simply wish to share another view that I think many may see from what I’ve observed. 🙏 please forgive my daring question. Absolutely can not trust this disgusting person. It is hard to know who to trust.. People heavily rely on analogy in explanations and understanding but this is easy to exploit. Work through the analogy and look for holes.
