WDW / DCA Mickey choreography is like: Up, magic dust, up, summon fireworks, summon lasers, summon fountains, clockwise arc, summon explosion, anticlockwise arc, summon explosion, conduct the fireworks and fountains, etc, etc. TDS Mickey choreography is: Wave, I guess.

When Mickey disappears in Tokyo I can see his hand waving and going down

All I can say is I'm glad there making Fantasmic in all the Disney parks This show is truely Magical and everybody around the world should watch and experience it, I LOVE FANTASMIC!!!

Tokyo's version had some really fantastic additions (which only they can do given what they have) but what puts the USA versions over the top is, as someone mentioned down below, the actors ability to move. That alone sells the illusion of magic, as opposed to being confined to a tiny segment with a railing the only thing between you and a drop.

USA is the best one! More colourful, fireworks and spectacular!

My best guest would be both.

Everyone, FOR THE LAST TIME this video isn't about the effects of the show, it's about the choreography!!! Please only refer to the movements, not how fascinating the background is.

I say land won for choreography and sea won for outfit.

I like both. I want to go to Disneyland as early as possible!! From Japan.

i prefer the USA version not only cause the preformer has tons of movement cause how the preformer moves is like a high energy adult but the way tokyo is in the bottom cause they dont even have a boat they only have barges

I think both shows are great in their own ways, and comparing them would be like comparing a Cucumber to a Pickle. They are the same show in concept and layout, they just go about the execution differently.

I think the Tokyo costume choice for Mickey, and the use of the wand were really cute and inventive ways to make Mickey stand out a bit better, however, I think the timing, as someone else mentioned, was lacking. The Disneyland version times the fireworks and lights with their Mickey, though the costume is a bit boring. I understand the choice though, I just like the Tokyo one a whole lot better.

both are really good and i guess fitting to kind of what people invision when they think of Tokyo and then America. America for having tradion with the traditional Socerer Mickey and Tokyo for being very much a technology place with Mickey being in a full on costume covered in lights....but still are both very likeable in different ways.

Its 2022 and all i can say Disneyland still has the best actors when it comes to fantastic Their enthusiasm makes the show how great it is

Outfit: both. American mickey got the classic look. But japan mickey has glowing robes! Bloody glowing robes! Movement/animation: american mickey. Looks like he's summoning and conducting the show. Japanese mickey just waves. Which is sad. But yeah

Even without being able to see the effects you can tell Disneyland Anaheim is the clear winner.

U.S.A. because its classic but Tokyo had an amazing finale!!!

USA has more surprise, especially when in the start of the finale. Tokyo did good with the end fireworks tho.

Mickey's design in Tokyo in really nice and colorful, and the performance is nice in the USA, but overall both are really nice

okay but i dont think this is a fair competition. Obviously, everyone will like USA more, but thats because their fireworks are behind Mickey, and you can clearly see the lasers, smoke and fireworks from his angle, but from the angle the Tokyo Mickey is, you cant see anything. Everything just happens to be below him, but the angle chosen for this video is only him, thus not capturing everything below him, ergo the magical effects.

In 2017 (Last Decade), Fantasmic! Got A Big Remodel. So Now Some Parts Of It Do Match Tokyo DisneySea's Version. But Some Things From The Original Stay The Same.

Both performance is super cool. And theres a lot of uniqueness to the either one of them

I will say the US definitely did better on their part with the choreography that they had Mickey performing along with all of the fireworks and water fountains everywhere. I will however give points to Japan for having an AWESOME soundtrack.

TOKYO!!

USA, not because ive gone to Disneyland a bazillion times, but because the excitement is at a much more higher level. The dance moves are more exciting, like sorcerer Mickey should be. The Mickey in Tokyo was just looking around mostley, however their outfit was cool, but it wasnt as cool as the real sorcerer Mickeys outfit. All in all I would have to say USA. Props to their amazing hand gestures and controlling of the water and fireworks (:

Tokyo!!　Because ,Tokyo's version is more moving. Of course, USA's is the more flashy, but the round view of tokyo disney sea makes the show more compact and we show all view of the fantasmic at a glance. and Mickey is the much more cool and cute for TDS's 2018 version!!! Moreover, the BGM of Fantasmic is different slightly, and I love Tokyo's version. I miss the TDS's Fantasmic.

You can see Mickey go down even before the firework. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Tokyo:Imagination Ha Ha USA:Some imagination huh? Ha Ha

Mickey's choreography in the Anaheim version is better but Tokyo's version has an overall better finale

There are also differences between Disneyland, and Disney World's shows (the latter being longer by a few minutes) But what the video doesn't know from the Tokyo show is that where a lot of the pyrotechnics that happen as Mickey suddenly appears/disappears, isn't present in Tokyo's- or rather.. you can SEE mickey before the flashes and explosions happen, like their timing is way off.

This Video makes no justice to the Disney Sea Version that is 254854x better the scale of everything it mind blowing!

The only reason timing is off at Tokyo is because Mickey's platform can't come up as fast due to safety needs and the hat top of the hat is small so the platform needs to squeeze through.

Disney world does it the best because it looks straight out of Fantasia with the mountain and everything

They were both great, but the glaring difference to me is mickeys costume. In the U.S.A, he is wearing the classic sorcerer costume and that's a lot better to me than the new one with lights all over it.

There's more heart incorporated with the Disneyland version. Tokyo Disney takes the route of big Vegas and very lavish... where Disneyland's takes nostalgia and homeliness as its cue. Disneyland all the way.

As far as choreography goes, the authentic original USA version is much better. And so is where Mickey stands. You see, in the Disneyland version, Mickey Mouse is out and about and can do more because there is no railing surrounding him. For Tokyo Disney Sea, he can't have that free range of motion. Also both Mickeys are at the top of a high platform of some sort, and the USA version, as stated before, has no railing. The Mickey Mouse we all know is a hero, dreamer, lover, and risk taker.

USA Disneyland California I personally like the Sorcerer outfit more than Tokyo's outfit that looks like a lit up version of those plastic bubbles you pop that come in packages.

I saw fantasmic at Disneyland Cali the year it premiered and have seen it at Florida and Tokyo. Each one has unique strengths. The Tokyo version is different because it is geared towards the Japanese audience. The overall show at Disney Sea is amazing. Disney sea and Tokyo Disneyland are both amazing parks. Can't wait to get to Shanghai and i can finally say I've visited every Disney park at least once. Disneyland CA I've been to well over 70 times.

as far as I love the USA version (my fave by far) ya can't see the WHOLE thing of the Tokyo finale in the video haha :) so USA is better but Tokyo has the better effects and finale their both amazing in my own right

Waving to guests is cool but it gets old after a bit. Choreography is always a show stopper especially when it comes natural to the actor

One big problem with Tokyo, is they need to really fix their timings. (I can only speak for WDW when it comes to the US one) But the point of the pyrotechnics to to have mickey appear and disappear in a flash of light, but with Tokyo, you tend to see Mickey before the pyro.

USA but i liked tokyo's finale, the fireworks were awesome

Tokyo. During the middle they should have used more fog but still epic. I pick Tokyo over my own country. ;3

I'm going for the USA for this one. Tokyo Mickey can't exactly move freely like USA Mickey who looks like he is controlling everything. Plus, USA Mickey has that whole "return to normal" thing at the end. But, I'll give it to Japan for their Pyro and the sparkling Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey outfit.

I Love All The Fireworks, Lasers, Fountains, Smoke, & Water The Usa Version Does But The Japanese Version Of It Was Mickey In That Really Awesome Light Up Sorcerer Costume. So I Guess U Can I Like Both.

Disneyland original Fantasmic is the real one and only authentic first FANTASMIC !

tokyo's was pretty good, i have to admit. i liked what they chose to do, and i love that the set is the socerer's hat...but i still prefer the classic USA version. *shrugs* sorry, Japan

I've never seen Tokyo's live but after seeing a few vids on RU-vid it is a worthy version of Fantasmic. I might have a hard time deciding between the two if I didn't have the attachment to Anaheim's original. It is inventive and unique but still feels like Fantasmic. At least both are much better than the sorry infomercial playing in Orlando.

Tokyo version looks good and all. But yeah Mikey just isin't in sync with the music. Which is one of the many reasons why I love the show so much.

Ok, I have to give Japan for its pyrotechnics, but the states are better with Mickey. For one, Tokyo didn't even get the sorcerer colors right, and another, the states Mickey actually moves to match to what's going on with the pyrotechnics.

i think USA because Mickey was moving and swaying while Tokyo Mickey kind of just, moved his arm because he was holding a magic wand. I personally like USA more.. my opinion

Ok I'm going with the USA Mickey all day every day. The thing that would make the USA Mickey even cooler would be if he wore the Tokyo Mickeys outfit. That white looks really cool and fancy. In the beginning like at the start in the Tokyo fantasmic the Mickey wore what the USA Mickey wore in the finale so the wardrobe point goes to Tokyo. The scenery and the experience goes to USA for having the smoke and water/laser effects.

The Disneyland Resort Fantasmic is better cuz in the US he look more like he is really conducting the water!

I like USA the best but I love Tokyo's ending!

In my opinion, Tokyo's version felt a bit more like World of Color but the decided to add in Fantasmic at the last minute. But you have to admit the way Tokyo handled the dragon sequence is pretty cool!

Tokyo version is performed at the whole area of “Mediterranean harbor” So, the video which shows entire performance of “Fantsmic!”at Tokyo DisneySea should’ve been used.

In Tokyo they tried to do something different which I give them props for but in doing so i feel they lost the escence of what fantasmic is Fantasmic in Disneyland still remains #1

honestly after seeing both full shows, its hard to say. the "USA" one has a larger sense of the original Mickey form the Disney parks and the timelessness of the the mouse that we love. but the Tokyo one has more of a sense of wonder and a almost "smother" feel so.....

For people who say that Mickey does nothing in Tokyo, its just because of the crappy footage. (No offense) There are still pyrotechincs and water fountains.
