This was a fitting way for the 75th season to end, 2 of the original teams battling it out in the grandest stage the Nba Finals and the team who won the championship in the inaugural year of this league comes away with the championship and Curry proving everyone wrong and getting that fmvp is such a special moment.
Yo that’s cool. 💯 it would’ve been cool to see Boston’s 18th title for the 75th anniversary, but like you said Warriors winning with Steph cementing his legacy as a top 10 player was special as well. 👏
They actually played each other in the finals in 1964. Boston won because they had Russell, who was the Jordan of his day (or the Shaq). My dad lived in SF at the time and his high school rooted for Boston because of how good they were. So this was the 'revenge series' for GSW, even though only a few people remember the series.

I do think that Tatum's mental will need to bump up a bit to push him over the edge but I think his humility will keep him away from drama while improving on his game for now.
Curry thinks he’s the best shooter in the world, which he is. And you know what he said in the press when he was asked first thing about his MVP? He said, “Forget that? We CHAMPS.” Implying that the team comes first before him. So yeah, You can be a champion while also being humble.
Tatum didn’t “blow it”. Nor was it about confidence. Andrew Wiggins shut him down. No shame in that. I watched Wiggins shut down every team’s best player all season and in the playoffs. He’s becoming a monster.
Wiggins was supposed to be next big star player but didn’t fit in any of the previous teams due to a lot of inexperienced & young teammates or not proper coaching. Happy he finally found his role, I believe he can even be better as long he is around the right people. The warriors also had a really good bench w a lot of young players who needed to prove for themselves. With the help of weathered veterans and a great coach, these players have a bright future even if they leave the warriors. As of Tatum, I think he will be even better in the next couple years. You have to learn how to lose before you know how to win and he did it humbly
Imagine MJ being shut by Karl Malone, and then someone said “oh, MJ didn’t blow it. Karl Malone was a Monster.” ¡Karl actually was a real Monster! ¡But MJ was a BIGGER MONSTER! Also, Kawhi in 2019’s legendary semifinals was guarded by EMBIID AND SIMMONS, two fucking defensive Monsters and he WON anyways. JT is a Ponny, a Puppy, “WIGGINS was so good” what a shitty excuse. And I did not even mention all that Kobe theater he did for the media. Cringe.
@@CarterAntFan of course Wiggs is not on a level where he could stop great players. Even Luka was around 50% against him. It was just reassuring that someone in the Dubs can go "Okay, I will guard their best player" and let the others focus on their offense.
I have steph on 7. For me, Kobe is top 5, and def in front of curry. 1 mj, 2 bron, 3 Kareem, 4 Kobe, 5 Magic, 6 russell, 7 steph, 8 Duncan, 9 Shaq, 10 Bird. Steph shows more dominance than Wilt for example. Wilt is not a top 10 player, he was incredible in play offs, and had 2 great seasons, other than that, that’s it. Steph has 2 mvps, 1 finals mvp, 11 all stars, the three point record, and a 50 50 100 split over 70+ games
Amazing video, just wanted to say that Jason Tatum is only 25 or 24 and you have to be really mature/confident as a person to think your a superstar. Sometimes it takes people longer but I feel like he has it in him

Luka for example, that dude is a generational talent yes but his confident and mentality is way above his age. I'm sure Tatum can gain that confidence but he needs to get it as quick as possible.
Dude, Tatum is only 24, people need to stop saying that he will never be ready, nobody knows that. If at the beginning of the season someone said the Celtics would get to the finals they would be called crazy. He had a bad series, everyone has those, specially if when it's his first final, I'll wait to see his next years before saying he doesn't have what it takes to be great, a superstar. The future of the Celtics is really promising with their young duo.

Curry is already signed for like 4 more years klay and dray like 2 more years. They will extend Wiggins for the same amount he’s making now and give Poole a 4 year 80 million dollar deal which will probably mean no more looney or GP2. They will probably just take the luxury tax hit and move on🤷♂️
@@TitusBoone looking at how the WARRIORS are BINDED by the NBA, shows me that they don't want to have a dynasty, at least from the WARRIORS..Joe was right when he said that because the warriors basically built the team, with draft picks, more than stars, (kd & ai) that they have to be taxed, the vets they bring, following the 2012 draft vet minimum contracts mostly. As a Warriors fan this is my favorite season yet, Curry and the Warriors consistently being doubted and then proved everyone wrong, Curry passing the great Ray Allen for the Nba all time 3 pt record in Msg, Klay returning, Curry with 16 3’s in the Asg and the Asg Mvp, Poole and Gp2’s emergence onto the league, Wiggins proving everyone wrong that he is that guy, Draymond getting somewhat back to his old self (should’ve won Dpoy), Curry’s game winner against the Rockets, the big 3’s first game back with each other on Steph’s birthday and lastly the Warriors coming together and piecing together a finals run I will never forget that ended in Curry getting his fmvp that he deserves so much and the Warriors hoisting the Larry O’brien trophy. The 2014 team was the only one where TD wasn’t clearly the best player, probably the most egalitarian side to win a title, everyone was a role player in a sense. Kawhi’s defence at that time set him apart and made him the most valuable guy on the roster and the difference between them being a good playoff team and a contender.
I would say Steph is in the same class as Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Duncan, and Kobe Bryant in the Finals. All five of those players had to face DPOY in the Finals.
@@dakota8381 did you even watch any NBA game this season? I bet not. The refs were tolerating more physical contacts ever since the start of this season.. People arguing defense are tougher in the past are delusional.. People forgot how easy it was for superstar players like MJ to draw foul calls when they were hand-checked, they almost always get the call every single time... In contrary to this season, the refs are ignoring any physical contact initiated by the ball handler.. Anyone can argue that this season the NBA is as physical as it has ever been.
We can all have a certain take on Steph & his Championships but we must acknowledge that Steph was making his first ever Finals appearance in 2015 v a LeBron (albeit without Kyrie & Love) who was making his 6th Finals appearance & 5th straight. Steph still won though. Experience matters. Tatum 2022 Finals case in point.
Steph ain’t on top of Kobe. Dude got rigged on multiple MVPs. Those Shaq championships he averaged 28+ ppg. Not to mention his other accolades on team USA, All star mvps, etc. Steph is great, but he ain’t on top of Kobe.

I don't think so, Giannis doesn't deny he's a superstar, but he credits the team for helping him be one and winning games. Tatum here doesn't see himself as a superstar. There's a fine line between being humble and not admitting it.

This team is most definitely better than 2015’s team, that team was obviously good but in no way can you compare Harrison Barnes to Andrew Wiggins who completely locked up Tatum in this series. Give this team it’s flowers Steph needed this team as much as this team needed Steph.
Saying Tatum can’t reach the finals again is big cap bro Steph was focused on in the finals and he sold too and he was young and lost the finals bro and still won 4 chips
6:22...Sorry AM Hoops, but I disagree with you when you say that Tim Duncan was NOT the best player on that 1999 Spurs team. He most definitely was the best player on that team.
I think Shaq was equally big of a game changer if not bigger. That was the time when we saw paint dominance. With players like KG, Duncan,Ming other bigs taking the center stage. In terms how the game was changed I think Shaq and Curry are the ones who defined eras for how basketball is going to be played moving forward.
I think the Celtics were a superior team. I do. But Curry was just amazing. He popped off. He had his big moments, and that gave him the championship. Props to Curry.
I’m a big Curry fan but I like the challenge of finding other guys who have ‘changed the game’. I’m an old guy so my list refers to some ancient players: George Mikan: voted the best player of the first half of the 20th century, he introduced the mobile big man that created Russell, Wilt, Olajuwon, et. al. Bob Cousy: the ball handling magician of his day. You might pair him with Meadowlark Lemon, who influenced a lot of kids in those days with his ball handling shows for the Globetrotters. Magic & Bird. They must go together, of course. Take it from me, the NBA was dull in those days (the excitement of ‘three to make two’). These guys jazzed things up. The ABA. Remember they introduced the three point shot and guys like Dr. J put the dunk in the everyday game. David Stern: got rid of the stupid rules against zone defenses
Tim duncan should be near the end of the top 10 list no way in hell he in the goat convo the only ppl in the goat convo is Jordan and Lebron maybe Karrem but thats it
1. Michael Jordan 2. LeBron James 3. Kobe Bryant 4. Magic Johnson 5. Stephen Curry 6. Larry Bird 7. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 8. Tim Duncan 9. Shaquille O'Neal 10. Wilt Chamberlain
@@jaydot4956 Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird are the 6 most skilled, most complete players all time. They are the best all around players that have ever lived and they can do everything on the basketball court, they don't have any weaknesses, there's nothing they can't do. Where as Kareem and the other all time great big men all have weaknesses/limitations offensively. If you can only score from 1-13 feet only on post ups then thats a limitation and makes you less versatile then the 6 guys I named. Kareem and the other great big men couldn't dribble, they couldn't create their own shot off the dribble, they couldn't catch the ball at the 3 point line and drive to the hoop, they couldn't drive to the hoop off he dribble, they couldn't shoot 3s, they could only score on post ups and could only score from 1-13 feet and couldn't score from anywhere on the court like Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird can, you can't even go to most of those great big men for a last second shot to win you the game because most of them can't shoot free throws and also because it takes too long to do a last second post up play and the defense can just double team them easily or do the Hack A Shaq and put guys like Shaq, Wilt and Russell on the free throw line and then they'll just brick free throws, most of the great big men couldn't shoot free throws (Shaq, Wilt, Russell & even Duncan struggled at the line a lot in his career), it's hard for me to put guys that can't even dribble the ball ahead of guys like Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird who can dribble and can do everything on a basketball court, they can dribble, drive, pass, defend, rebound, shoot 3s, shoot free throws, they can score from anywhere on the court, they can drive to the hoop off the dribble, all of them can post up except for Curry, their all great passers and are better passers then Kareem, they hit clutch shots in the last seconds and you can actually go to them in the final seconds of a close game. Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird are the best all around players, the most skilled all around players and the most complete players to ever play the game. Plus they all were the face of the league and the best players of their era. In the 80s it was Magic and Bird who were the face of the league and the best players, in the 90s Jordan was the best player and face of the league, on the 2000s Kobe was the best player and the face of the league, in the 2010s-2020s it was LeBron and Curry who were the best players and the faces of the league. Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird all changed the game, they changed the game of basketball and made it more popular, not only are they the most skilled all around players all time but they are also the most clutch players in the last seconds of the game, they hit the most clutch shots, they are also the most exciting/entertaining players all time, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Russell and Duncan's game is just not as exciting, entertaining and as cool as Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird's game, they are much more exciting players to watch because they can do more on the basketball court besides just post up down low and score from 1-10 feet, they have more all around skills and can score from anywhere, they can dribble and create for themselves and others more easily. If Kareem were a guard/small forward and could dribble, shoot 3s and score from anywhere on the court then I would say he's the best all time, but he can't do all of those things, as a big man he is more limited in what he can do and that is why you don't really see any great big men anymore that play in the post in today's NBA, because in today's NBA no one runs a slow paced post up offense through their big man because 1. It takes up too much time to run that type of offense which means less shot attempts per game for the team which means the team scores less points and they get outscored by teams like the Warriors who shoot quick and shoot lots of 3s, so in today's NBA you'd be shooting lots of 2s with your post up big man and your slow paced offense while teams like the Warriors are shooting 3s and will outscore you by getting up more shots. In today's NBA Kareem wouldn't get the ball as much in the post because no one runs a post up offense anymore, no one dumps it into the post because that type of offense uses up way too much time every possession so it's an inefficient offense compared to today's fast paced 3 point shooting offenses, also if you run a slow paced post up offense through your big man today then it will clog up the paint and your guards and wing players won't be able to drive to the hoop so you have less floor spacing when you are always posting up your big man down low in the paint. Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Russell and Duncan would all still be great in today's NBA but they wouldn't get the ball as much, they wouldn't get as many shot attempts and score as many points as they did because teams don't run post up offenses anymore, so the only way those guys would be able to be just as good in today's era is if they learned to dribble, learned to shoot jump shots and 3s like Embiid, Towns and Jokic, those are the only 3 great centers in today's NBA and none of them score a ton of of post ups like Kareem did. So that's why I rank Curry ahead of Kareem because in today's NBA Curry's game translates better than Kareem's game does. Curry's game is the perfect game for today's NBA, his game translates better in today's NBA then any other player and in today's NBA he is the #1 player you'd want to take to build around because he has changed the game and he's easy to build around because his game is built.on 3 point shooting. The Warriors have no built 3 different championship teams around Curry, 3 seperate eras, 3 seperate teams. No other player has done that. You can put Curry on any team in the NBA today and build a championship squad around him easily. In today's NBA the players games who translate the best are Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Magic, Curry and Bird, they have the most skilled and most complete games, they are the most clutch and most exciting players, they hit the most clutch shots, their games translate the best in today's NBA because they're versatile and they can dribble and shoot jumpshots. Also I put Curry ahead of Bird because Curry has 4 championships now and Bird has 3. Curry also completely changed the game of basketball more than any other player, he's also the greatest shooter all time. The goal of the sport is to shoot the ball into the jet and Curry shoots the ball into the net better then any other player in NBA history. Curry also had seasons where he averaged 30 and 32 points, he's had more 40 and 50 point games so Curry is a better scorer then Bird. Curry also had more longevity then Bird. Curry just averaged 31 points in the finals and won a other ring at 34 years old while Bird's career was pretty much over by the time he was 34 years old. So Curry has already had more longevity and barring a serious injury he's going to continue to be great til age 37-39 because he doesn't rely on athleticism he relies on his shooting which is something he can still be great at into his 40s. Curry is also going to win at least 1-2 more rings so he's going to finish with several more then Bird. Curry is also a better defender then Bird. It's close though it's very close, before Curry won this championship and this year's finals MVP I had Bird ahead of him, but not now because what Curry did this year with this team was special, they literally were a lottery team the last few seasons. I believe Curry has also been to more finals then Bird. Better ball handler: Curry Better 3 point shooter: Curry Better free throw shooter: Curry Better rebounder: Bird Better passer: Bird Athleticism: Curry Driving to the hoop: Curry Scoring: Curry Defense: Curry Last second shots/Game winners: Bird Final Score: Curry 7 Bird 3 Better ball handler: Curry Better 3 point shooter: Curry Better free throw shooter: Curry Better rebounder: Kareem Better passer: Curry Athleticism: Kareem Driving to the hoop: Curry Scoring: Even Defense: Kareem Last second shots/Game winners: Curry Final score: Curry 6 Kareem 3 In today's NBA though I'd have to say that Curry is the better scorer.
Yeah seems like there just still too inexperienced. They definitely had the physical tools and talent to get it done but they especially meaning Tatum and Brown need some more playoff runs and wisdom. I was cringing so many times at all there dangerous passes and sloppy drives into the paint. Even if just Tatum had better awareness and vision they couldve won if he makes the right plays instead of all the crucial turnovers and forced bricks.
As a warriors fan and steph fan, never disliked a video that is praising my team as much as this. To bring steph up, you constantly brought others down. His legacy and skill speaks for itself, theres no need to bring others down, especially great hall of famers to make your point.
Kobe had 12 first and second all defensive teams. Tied at most defensive teams with Kevin Garrett and you telling me curry is better than kobe. Kobe carried Shaq through the western conference. The west had Tim Duncan hakeem mailmann and David Robinson etc.. Bigs who can actually guard Shaq. The only good defensive big Shaq played against in thier 3peat years was an aging mutombo. That's why he dominated the finals.
The warriors in my opinion will be chip contenders next season for sure, Stephen Curry is now top 10 of all time no matter who says this or that. The Celtics on the other hand need help. Tatum needs to improve because he is inconsistent. Jaylen Brown to me was always the better Celtic than Tatum. Tatum just hasn't taken a leap of faith and move on to another level. It is like the whole Celtics squad disappeared except for Brown, Horford, and Williams which played great.
I love Curry as much as the next guy but he still hasn't passed any of the guys you named - Kobe in particular. Yes, Steph is an all time great, that has 4 rings, 2 MVP's and a FMVP (finally). He also helped revolutionize the game into what it is today. However, let's not act like Kobe wasn't everything Steph was, and more... 5 rings, 2 FMVP's, and an MVP. Inspired countless with his mindset, and unlike Curry, he was an elite defender. Not decent or good, elite, and defense is half of the game. Again, all the respect to Curry, but let's not be prisoners of the moment. Guy still has a few good years ahead of him, and he has more than a chance at getting more rings and a FMVP or two. I just don't get this disrespect to the other greats... I mean hell, at least let the guy retire first...
My problem with this narrative is why with those same Accolades is everyone cool with Kobe being 9, and Bron being 2. Steph has the same amount of titles with less finals and now has almost as many trophies as Bron and a few that he doesn’t. Including the leagues first unanimous mvp and unanimous Finals MVP. 3000 3 point record and counting. And he’s changed the game of basketball. Bron has had a longer career and is still playing, but he still gets to be ranked #2. I’d rather be a prisoner to the moment than a prisoner to history and not be able to admit when we’re seeing something we’ve never seen before, and he’s done it with the same team. Kobe wasn’t everything Steph is, his percentage isn’t the same. If Kobe hit 50, he put up 100. It’s not the same. And we’re comparing elite defense to a 6’3 point guard. I’d put Kobe and Steph in front of Larry Bird. He didn’t ‘help’ revolutionize the game. HE revolutionized it. Don’t downplay that man’s accomplishments
@@jayowulf8464 Personally I have Kobe higher than 9, and personally I think it's ridiculous for him to be ranked lower than 7. I'm also not big on the LeBron hype train, he is definitely top 5, maybe top 3, and he will likely finish as top 2 - But again, personally, I'd wait to see if he gets a few more accolades under his belt - Like breaking Kareem's record. I value rings really highly, but I also think that not every ring is the same. For example I would put Hakeem over Shaq in my list, although it would be a close call. It's well known that Kobe wasn't the most effective player. But he also played in the slowest, most defensive dominant, and least effective era - Just look up the stats. I'm not denying that Steph is more efficient than Kobe - Hell, he's one of the most efficient players (shooters namely) in history. But when you look at what each of them did, and how they contributed to their teams, Kobe did more. Again, defense is half of the game. You cannot simply discredit something as major as that. Nobody is expecting him to have a DPOY under his belt, but it's only recently that he's became an average, to slightly above average defender. For a big part of his career he was below average, and a liability. Kobe on the other hand was elite for most of his career, and average for a small part near his retirement - This doesn't only apply to Kobe either; both Duncan and Hakeem were elite defenders as well. And I'm not downplaying his accomplishments either. Just because I have him in the top 12-15 range on my list doesn't mean that I think he's bad - He's still (at least) a top 15 player OF ALL TIME. That's still amazing. I just don't think he deserves to go in front of some of the other guys for simply "revolutionizing" the game - I mean each and every person in that top 10 revolutionized the game in their own way. You can argue that Steph was more impactful than most, but is that really enough to just outright disregard everything else? I mean Duncan has more rings, more FMVP's same amount of MVP's and 15 defensive first teams to Curry's 0. Does that not count for anything?
@@dewman7477 LeBron is not a top three player all time he is top five and he’s number five at best! Steph with this championship is top 15 undoubtedly. If he wins another championship the finals MVP snd another regular season MVP top 10 no doubt.
@@jayowulf8464 Yes Steph Curry is without a doubt top three impactful players to ever play the game. You have Michael Jordan, Shaq and Steph Curry just the name three guys who are the most impactful in NBA history. Change the way teams play and they set a certain paradigm for winning.
Started watching the video after the first minute you really undervalued Andrew Wiggins in the Finals he was phenomal!! Without him Dubs loose. I agree this is the worst team Steph has won a championship but it's not too far off from the 2015 warriors as a roster they were deeper that's all.
I don't think you understand what they mean by changing the game. Small guards aren't suppose to lead teams. That's why Isiah Thomas was the only other to do it consistently. You are suppose to need a large Center. Curry is so good they can run a small lineup. Their Center being 6'9" or shorter. Curry breaks the theory of how basketball is played. That same old theory is why Hakeem was drafted #1 and MJ at #3. Because height rules. Remember the greatest Point Guard is a 6'7" small forward named Magic Johnson. That's what changing the game is about. Though I agree it isn't a good argument because I have to teach basketball history.
Steph don't care about the finals mvp or about the individual acheivement, he cares about his team, Godbless steph, stay humble and always thanks God for all the things that God has given to you☝😇🙏.
We acting like Tatum is 35 years old. He’s still young, him not having “it” I would have to disagree. He had a great playoff run he probably was gased playing 2 series going to 7 games when the Warriors didn’t play more than 5 in their previous match ups. Tatum is a soft spoken and humble guy when have we ever seen him trash talk? I know he has “it” its just a matter of learning and time before he takes it up to the next level. He’ll be back him and Giannis will be competing for the ECF for the next few years
Wilt is too high as a reward for stat padding. His team didn't win the championship when he was averaging 50. So those numbers inflate his greatness. Regardless of who created the list.
@@Dryltd exactly. Imagine if steph wanted to say “fuck it, I’m playing 48 minutes and taking every other shot from now on” you can’t tell me wouldn’t average 50ppg for at least two or three seasons.
@@Dryltd He had 4 other players average double digits that year. That team was just know as an offensive dominate team. He also average nearly 26 rebounds that year, so he probably was getting 20ish points from put backs a game.
The "champion mindset" thing you said is BS. You just have to be good. Tim Duncan is not a "championship mindset" guy who states to the media that he is the ultimate superstar. You don't need to say that crap. You just have to play good. And your team needs to be good. You wouldn't say anything like this, if Boston had a better team, and they won.
Just a question, I don't know anything about Bird and Magic Era, what's so special about Magic that put him above steph? I heard Magic revolutionized the game on his era?
Magic has 5 rings, 3 mvps, and 3 finals mvps. That’s when we starting talking about elite elite … same with bird. 3 rings, 3 mvps in a row, and 2 finals mvps. They took over the 80’s before Isaiah Thomas/MJ starting winning chips watch some highlights and finals games
@@JLS-vv6ye i see, so it really make sense .They both revolutionized the game but ring, mvp, fmvp wise, magic is better. Okay thanks a lot my brother. Still learning:)
My top 10 all time: HM: Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kevin Durant. 10. Hakeem Olajuwon 9. Stephen Curry 8. Larry Bird 7. Shaquille O'Neal 6. Tim Duncan 5. Magic Johnson 4. Kobe Bryant 3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 1. Michael Jordan/LeBron James
@@asianmj6359any top 10 without duncan is a joke period no way is kd top ten all time he's 12th or 13th his rings are tainted he had a join a 73 win team that beat him to win championships
7:21 recency bias kicking in. Steph Curry's impact on the game and how it's played is significant for this generation of great players, but don't pretend that others on this list didn't impact it in an equally significant way, particularly Shaq. There were A LOT of rule changes and style changes made to the NBA because of Shaq, like introducing the Zone defense to the NBA. He was just as unstoppable though in a different way than Steph and his impact is every bit as significant! Other players who came before Steph who changed the game and how it's played: Bob Cousy Wilt Chamberlain David Thompson Julius Erving Magic Johnson Kareem Abdul-Jabbar A far from complete list, but let's not pretend like the NBA was boring and unwatchable the previous 60 years before Steph came along with his barrage of perimeter scoring. So many players impacted it equally if not more significant ways before he was even born.
@@taddicus8769 the league started taking more threes from 2011 onward. Actually they’ve gone up every year due to statistics and analytics realizing the value 📈 if Steph never played in the nba the league would’ve still changed. If bird, Miller, Allen, or any of the other great shooters played in this era they would’ve shot way more threes too. If Steph played in the 80s he wouldn’t have shot as many. Different games
ESPN’s list is whack shaq should be 4 bill should be 11 Steph is top ten somewhere or 11th at least, and Duncan and Kobe you could argue are both higher
I agree Luka is a great comp for taytum except Luka has the killer mindset and supreme confidence which taytum lacks. Thats why i trust Luka more in the playoffs than i trust taytum and always will
Luka played pro in Europe at 16 years old. So his experience/journey is a lot different. He has been around older players/mentors for minute and that’s why he can carry the Mavs. Give tautum 2-3 more years to reach his peak.
@@henrylam92 sure but luka was always like this even in Europe it wasn't like he has become like this after learning. He was this confident even when he was a 16 year old playing against grown men and was winning chips and mvps. I think it's something you are just born with like mj and kobe were. You either have it or you don't and taytum doesn't look like he has it. Brown looks more like a killer than he does at times but i hope you are right I like jt hope he figures it out
@@someshnarayan7368 I believe that mentality can be gained over time. It just takes a lot of practice and experience. Some have it earlier, some may gain it later. It just depends who they surround with and coaches. Kobe was nowhere like that when he started off, did he have the technical abilities? Sure, but he took time to develop to the next level after Shaq left bc he wasn’t in the shadows anymore and found his role. Funny thing is that Kobe lost in the finals against an experienced Celtics team 2-4 in 07/08 (2 years after shaq). This current Celtics team (average age below league’s avg) on paper looks great, I believe they have a good shot at winning the finals the next upcoming seasons as long they can retain everyone and add that extra umph/player to the team. I lived in Europe half my life and it’s different mentality out there then over here in the States. As of now Tautum is a team player, asking him those kind of questions after losing the finals is kind of unfair to judge him.
I love your view on supreme confidence... Sometimes I see people so hard on someone for believing in themselves and I think but don't get best in the world have a sort of arrogance deep inside them thinking deep inside or outside that they are the best? Take for example boxing? If you don't think you are better than the opponent why even fight? You fight to prove you are superior, that you are more gifted and worked harder and are smarter and all that. Anyhow bit of a rant but I get tired of people wanting everyone to be fake humble.
My personal top 11 (where should steph go?/what should i change?) 1. Mj 2. Bron 3. Magic 4. Kareem 5. Duncan 6. Bird 7. Bill Russell 8. Kobe 9. Hakeem 10. Shaq 11. Steph
@easterndundrey Kobe was 1st team all NBA 11x to Currys 4, Kobe is 12x all NBA defense to Currys Zero. Curry will never be better than Kobe. Overshadowed by Shaq? Kobe has 2 rings without Shaq, how many rings Shaq won without Kobe?
