When you ask people their favorite movie, this is probably the most common answer. I remember everyone loved Clue when I was a kid, and people still remember it and love it.

Come on, no one says “Clue is my favorite movie.” Sure, they’ll say, “Oh yeah, I love it. Thanks for reminding me of that one,” but it’s not the answer off the top of anyone’s head.

I loved this documentary! My family played the CLUE board game when my kids were young and I loved the movie. My husband and I saw it at the movies. Thanks so much for doing this documentary. I am going to let my kids know about this documentary and make sure we all watch the movie and this documentary while they are all here at Christmas this year. I am actually going to put a reminder on my phone so I don't forget (I am 76). LOL

This looks good and it was a long time coming. I'll gladly watch it. Clue has been one of my favorite films since I watched it as a rental VHS only God knows when but I bought it shortly after and watched it at least 2x a year since. I have always regretted not seeing Clue in theaters though. Seeing just one ending and then having to wait for the VHS release would've been sweet torture.

Looking forward to finally seeing this, hopefully someday you'll also get to do a special edition with added interviews of Tim Curry, and anyone else you missed. I made my own recreation of many of my favorite scenes. It's a fun movie to play act with, lots of silly and zany moments. Another favorite of mine is "Transylvania Twist", full of similar puns, visual gags and one liners. Although tonally they are completely opposite, Clue more realistic, and Transylvania more cartoonish.

I can help with the voice actor who dubbed Lee Ving’s lines in Clue. After watching it a few times, I realized the voice belonged to Reni Santoni. I couldn’t find any credit or proof. So, as one does, I looked Reni Santoni up on Facebook. I found him and sent him a DM asking if it was him. That was in 2018. Within days of Reni Santoni’s passing, his son was accessing his dad’s account and found my DM. He confirmed that Reni Santoni is indeed the voice of Mr. Boddy.

@@ItLooksSoFake You are very welcome. I'm just one of those people who remember voice tones and patterns better than I wish I did. After I received the confirmation from his son, I realized I didn't have anyone who was into the movie to share this revelation with. I'm so glad I found the right people to share it with. I can't say whether he is still open to discussing his father's legacy, but he was very willing to discuss it with me. Perhaps you can contact him for more of a backstory if he knows.
