The Diet Coke one is hilarious and weird at the same time. Also interestingly movie-accurate by making Roger have to disguise himself to enter the strictly-human Ink & Paint Club. I love fresh animation/voices that stand separately from the film, except for when it gets lost to time or is only viewable as old VHS footage. 😥
Well, McDonald's didn't exist back then, let alone had a major franchise. Same could be said about Diet Coke. I think this was more of Disney/Touchstone giving them the rights to promote the film while making these commercials at the time. Works better than to have the film feature the products like a sponsorship thing the way other films have done.
it's funny that betty boop generated controversy in her time for dating a dog but no one complained about the fact that in this one a woman is the wife of a rabbit
Mickey, Donald, goofy, br'er bear, O'Malley, dutchess, Bigfoot, mushu, Hercules and Megara, Tarzan, Jane Porter, terk, tantor, baloo, Mowgli, kenai and koda, lilo and stitch, pongo and Perdy, Ariel and eric, Cinderella, genie, Tinkerbell
Personally, I actually wish they didn't make the Roger Rabbit doll, as the movie isn't really intended to be for kids, as it was released under the Touchstone banner.
