For someone who’s so concerned with how he’s portrayed on TV, his behavior was appalling: interrogating dates, refusing to answer questions, prescreening his conversations with Amber by using AD.
Im just leaving this here, TREVOR IS THE GOAT of this season. He's the only person I've seen on this show 6 seasons in that admits people have preconceived notions for him but he's actually diffferent AND I BELIEVE HIM, his emotional maturity is a MASSIVE plus and boy did he dodge a bullet with Chelsea, how she managed to pick JIMMY over him is shocking.....
She picked Jimmy because she wanted to win against the standard beautiful girl (Jessica). It was a very stupid decision - especially as she knew Trevor is a big guy and she's a big girl. It's unfair to the big guy but good guys often suffer in the short run,

Trevor definitely deserves better. Chelsea was going to chose who ever proposed first. Chelsea is just too insecure be in a relationship in general. Jimmy sucks though, no matter who he choose.
Chelsea is very insecure and seemed to pick Johnny only because someone else wanted him. Trevor will meet someone one day as he is a great catch. Not sure Chelsea is a good match for him anyway with her insecurities..
As someone who binged these all in a row, it really felt like Jimmy began choosing Chelsea more and more after hearing she gets told she looks like Megan Fox. It was absolutely wild to watch him break up with Jessica, who imho looks exactly like Megan Fox, in favor of Chelsea. I really do think he'll choke when he sees Jess.
it was really upsetting how Chelsea was treated by Jimmy. I hate that dude. He's such a coward. Jimmy is clearly not attracted to Chelsea but he is not even being honest. I think Chelsea is physically way more attractive than Jimmy but it's sad to see she doesn't realize her worth. She should've chosen Trevor
Jimmy gives me pause with a lot of his actions, especially when he flubbed and said Jessica during his testimonial interview. Seems like he still harbors regret over not choosing Jessica. I do agree that Chelsea and Trevor seemed like a better fit in the pods!

I don't feel sorry for Chelsea FOR THIS. She deliberately raised his expectations because she knew he was overwhelmed by her confession. I blame him for expressing his reaction only to Chelsea when it was a culmination of two confessions.

In every way Trevor showed up and showed out in comparrison to Jimmy from his reaction to her story to the way he was so honest about his flaws as well as how much he began to love her, he did everything right as far as the pods and she managed to pick a guy who was entirely unsure about her, who, as the episodes progressed never validated her feelings and even worse, made her feel insecure throughout the trip so far. My guess is she picked jimmy because she knew she was in competition with someone else and she felt like she won a prize.....a prize who only picked her because she made an offhand (somewhat manipulative comment) that she looks like a certain actress. The way he looks at her and talks to her is sooooooo uncomfortable to watch and add to that the fact that she needs constant validation because of Jimmy's words and actions and you have a pure disaster. Had she chosen Trevor, honestly, she'd be so much happier right now

And low and behold one of his first comments in his interviews after the reveal was she lied to me she definitely doesn’t look like Megan Fox 😂😂
She did that to manipulate him I think since she said she isn’t used to guys liking her so she used her mind and the right words to feel wanted but then probably got jealous over Jessica and it was about winning him over a more pretty girl bc she’s insecure. She could’ve said any celebrity for her eye color come on. And her running like that to him didn’t help the reveal omg girl maybe bc I feel terrible for Trevor but i don’t get good vibes from her.

I don’t think race will affect Kenneth and Brittany. Honestly they didn’t seem that into each other. I think they check each other’s boxes as far as religion and background, but I am not seeing that physical energy of people who want each other. Even if you are waiting til marriage, it should look/feel a bit hard. They seem like two buddies sharing space.
Parents should not be allowed on these dating shows. It's fine if you want to ruin your own life by marrying a person you've known for a few weeks, but you dont do this to children. Wtf.

I didn’t like when Jessica said to jimmy that he won’t recover when he sees her but actually I do think she was spit on. His jaw will drop and he’ll question his decisions. He strikes me as the type of guy who will get hung up on looks.

Jessica's dodged a bullet for her daughter's sake. Jimmy isn't ready for that. She may have felt "her moment" was taken, but she could've mentioned her daughter before calling him her future husband. Jimmy wants to be the good guy so badly he didn't give himself time to process Jessica's news and then he knee jerks himself into telling Chelsea he loves her cause he thinks he's getting a Megan Fox stunt double. Clay is giving me a little season 2 Jarrette, who used to sleep on a blow-up mattress. Not sure why. I know AD therapy game is strong.
The thing with Jessica is that she says having a child doesn't identify her. However, all her decisions depend on her daughter and the fact she is a mother. Once she told Jimmy about it, she couldn't stop talking about her daughter, as well. We get it, it's normal. But for a man that want to start a family, not to join to another... I think it is not an easy situation. I believe she needs a very mature man, that knows that he can candle watching her ex from time to time e. g. being 2nd, because her daughter has always a 1st place and always will have. Jessica just needs the right, very mature man by her side. Jimmy may be a great man (I don't know how will it go in next episodes), but in this case is just not enough.
I wish they aired the footage of him with Amber to see what game he was spitting to her. All the girls were shocked that AD had a connection lol. Like I just have to know how he hooked the other one. I don’t think AD really had a connection with him, I think she was caught up in him love bombing her.
Can we talk about how many times Jimmy makes some sort of comment about how looks don’t matter. Telling someone you think they’re attractive, but it wouldn’t matter if they weren’t, over and over again, makes it sound like you don’t think they’re attractive. And, we can tell by his face what he thinks 🤦🏻♀️🤣 It is also wild to me that Chelsea even chose this guy over Trevor. I think Trevor summed it up best when he said “ok, so you’re choosing the guy who was deciding between you and someone else, and not the guy who only chose you?” Ok, sure. I felt bad for Trevor. Why give him those gifts? Also, it’s one thing for Chelsea to agree with Jimmy’s observation of AD’s incredible body, but it’s totally out of line for him to go over there and gush about it to AD (in front of Chelsea no less) Lastly, Clay is showing AD who he is, and he’s a jerk. She needs to turn and run, and maybe come back on Perfect Match because she is a catch.
The only reason Jimmy chose Chelsea was because he was expecting Megan Fox to show up. Jessica actually is more on the hotness level of Megan Fox however that child thing really messed him up. Maybe Chelsea felt validated that she was chosen over Jessica instead of focusing on a man who gave her healthy validation?
Chelsea didn’t just agree with Jimmy, she shouted to AD about it. I think trying to prove it didn’t bother her…only to spark a situation that made her uncomfortable. honestly Jimmy is overall a dirty dog, but he INITIALLY apologized to AD for his inappropriate comment and then it turned into this weird flirt vibe between him and AD. I think they are actually both flirts and neither of them were that serious, which doesn’t make it any less disrespectful. But Chelsea could have not shouted over to AD about it in the first place. She pulled AD into a conversation that could have stayed between the two of them.
My takeaway, don't tell people you look like Megan Fox if you absolutely don't 😂😂 Chelsea and Jimmy are so cringe. I can't wait for Jessica and Trevor to get their revenge on these clowns
I love how chill the men's and women's quarters were 😢❤❤❤. I loved the relationship the girls had and the bromance with the guys, even when there was fierce competition. It was realistic! Also, most of the contestants in the women's quarters are in their late 20s and early 30s and they come off as much more mature than previous seaons. It's way better than manufactured drama!
Chelsea would have drained the happy golden retriever energy right out of poor Trevor I was so glad when she said no to him. A Jessica would have spent way to much energy trying to pull Jimmy to do anything at her pace. It was definitely a win for Trevor and Jessica they dodged a bullet
I understand why Jessica held off a day or 2 before telling Jimmy about her daughter. It’s not like she didn’t say anything until he proposed to her and then dropped the bomb. THAT would have been not right. Waiting a couple of days before telling someone you have a kid is wise and protective. Let’s not exaggerate! She also did not string him along and only focused her pod energy on him. Can’t say the same about Chelsea or Jimmy for that fact. She played a clean game.

I really like Jessica and I was with her until she went off on Jimmy during the break up. She gave him too much of her emotions by that speech when she should've just said, thanks for your time, then left. Jimmy definitely isn't the right person for her so he did Jessica a favor. Now he's Chelsea's problem and thats going nowhere fast.
Yeah this weird mean girl energy was starting to poke out during the first convo and then her whole speech about him ruining her opportunity was so weird.
Jessica was definitely passionate during that speech before she left the Pods for good, although I give her the benefit of the doubt because Jimmy was leading her on for a lil' while.

Okay so I loved Chelsea in the pods...but she's completely different in person with Jimmy. I love how much he reassures her of his love...but clearly she still feels insecure and in a way, is self Sabatoshing!!! I really wish she would stop begging him for his reassurance...but there must be something in him that we're not seeing bc, Jessica seemed to have the exact same issue! I ADORE Jessica btw and thought they would've been a better match...but I loved what she said to him before she left! CHOKING! 😆 I also thought that Chelsea should've gone with Trevor but, we choose who we choose right??! Chelsea is Danielle 2.0. I think she is crazy. Megan Fox look a like? Really, she went with Megan Fox. She knew what it would do. Did she tell Trevor that bullshit. Jess knew she was an absolute smoke show. Jimmy even said he started asking himself questions. He admitted he felt lied to. He tells Chelsea I find your teeth most attractive. Not her eyes, not he figure her teeth. Ffs she kept pushing him, and he is like your tits. That was him trying to make her feel better, but BS. When they first get to the vacation, and he tells Chelsea what Jess said, she basically back up that Jess is a smoke show. You can tell with his body language that he is upset, but he doesn't want Chelsea to think he isn't attracted to her. What makes it worse is Chelsea needing so much reassurance. If she wanted that, Trevor was the guy. The thing is, Trevor is a specimen of a man. She would never feel confident with him. Now she knows that when Jimmy sees Jess, he will be blown away. This is why you never go above your looks. Set the bar low on a show like this. For example, if she asked him, he should be like. I look like Sloth from Goonies, or I'm fat ass ugly CMC. Don't say I look like CMC. She shouldn't have answered rather than lying. I think the Step Kid and Megan Fox just made him go. Yeah, I don't want Jess. I don't think with this show if you give any clue to what you look like. You are kicked off the show. It just defeats the experience.

Chelsea gives me Danielle with a sprinkling of Zainab vibes. And the assurance will never be enough. She ran over to AD to share with her what Jimmy said privately, but sits stewing about it all evening and by the time they are back in the suite, she’s reframed it so that her role of self-sabotage is blocked out. She actually told Jimmy to just shut up and take her baseless criticisms. I flinched when she shouted that. I look back and remember thinking how aware Danielle‘s guy was: he tried to tell her he was going to the party to report back to her, but she still had a panic attack by the time he got back. The reassurance is never enough. And as for Jessica, she really didn’t know how to react when her looks aren’t a tool she can use to real a guy in. Very interesting that she reacted to Jimmy the same way Clay reacted to finding out his competition was Matthew. She couldn’t believe she was „losing“ to Chelsea.

You can tell Mattew is for sure shy like he keeps to himself I felt for him cuz I know what it’s like to be shy and be outcasted however him playing AD and the other girl was messed up. Brother you had your girl and she was so nice and you go and play both of them.

Just based on what you've said and appearance alone, I think Laura might be more the kind of woman that Jimmy likes. I'm looking forward to the part where they meet each other's families and the reunion. Love is definitely not blind! It's pot luck if these season 6 contestants find each other attractive. It's always more intriguing when they try to feign attraction that is definitely not there but how embarrassing after all of the fulsome declarations of love! It can work out but 3 of the couples in DR probably won't make it down the aisle.
Unpopular opinion Jessica being a single Mother makes her dating pool smaller it is just facts! No matter how pretty and nice Jessica is most men do not want to take care of another man’s responsibility! I’m not trolling having a child is serious!
I have to disagree with everyone.. I think Jimmy thinks Chelsea is atractive and the main problem is her insecurity! Maybe he will like Jessica more, but the thing with AD was all in her head!
Nah..he thinks her looks are alright, and will use the fact she is a flight attendant and he can get travel benefits, but clearly she is not his top pic and his lack luster actions show it.

He doesnt think she's attractive at all or actually its probably more accurate to say that he may find her attractive but because she set herself up for failure with her celeb lookalike its clear she doesnt live up to that in his eyes, also while she has insecurities, Jimmy makes them so much worse, his words and actions dont match whatsoever which then feeds into Chelsea's insecurities more and it becomes a cycle. He tells everyone how much he likes her and how smooth their relationship is but he doesnt tell or show her anything that supports what he says to others about them, he even tries to gaslight her during their fight talking about how he "tells everyone how into you i am and how smooth our relationship is" yeah....everyone but the poor girl he's with. Even he sat with the girls and Chelsea he poured ALL of his attention to the other girls and even had a moment where he purposely excluded Chelsea from the conversation saying "this doesnt involve you" I mean WHAT? Even with the above said though, Chelsea only has herself to blame, She had the chance to pick trevor who in EVERY WAY would have been better for her but she decided to be competitive to try and combat her low self esteem not realising she made and even worse choice as a result. Jimmy doesn't even LIKE her let alone love her and its painfully uncomfortable to watch
Oh, what childhood trauma did Chelsea talk about? I don't remember her revealing anything heavy aside from her prior divorce. Also, I'm so frustrated that Netflix didn't reveal the footage between Matt & Amber! I wanna see if he told her the exact verbatim things as he told AD! I hope they show it at the reunion.
Chelsea only chose Jimmy because it made it feel like she was “taking the hot girl’s (Jessica) man”. It brought her a sense of security to see Jess cry while she was on a high of being told “I love you” by Jimmy. She’s extremely insecure and it’s sad. That episode when they discuses AD’s body was a dead giveaway that that girl doesn’t love/value herself. As if the comments she said in the first few episodes didn’t tell it.
Incredible storytelling! May blessings of good health, spirituality, abundance, and prosperity surround you and your loved ones. This season was exceptional, but I hope the unnecessary sexualization of AD doesn't diminish her genuine value. She deserves authentic love and appreciation. Keep up the outstanding work!
Her saying that being a mom does not define her is wild. I have 3 kids and no I'm not only a mom but that's my priority in life and influences a lot of my choices.
@joanna0988 she understands a majority of men today have absolutely 0 desire to raise another man child. Add that she can't use her looks to buffer that tendency to it being a negative. Means likely every guy would've turned her down. She told him on day 3. She should have said it on day 2. Make a connection day 1, let them know day 2. She also messed up focusing on 1 guy, the same for Trevor focusing on 1 girl. People prefer pre-selection, and while women prefer it more than men. On a show like LIB, pre-selection will even make men more likely to go after the woman with multiple suitors.
I do feel bad for Jessica but I don’t think single parents should be on this show. The process is too short and a lot of the contestants are problematic to have a child in the middle of it.
I think my favorite/best suited couples are Johnny/Amy & Ken/Sarah (I think that’s their names lmao) just finished watching last night! But yeah…who knows what the outcome will be but they seem like the 2 couples who are genuinely looking for the same things and have what appears at least to be the best chemistry together

24:00 - that was not a letter Jessica wrote for jimmy. It was a letter she wrote long ago for her future husband that she was going to give him, when she finds him, to show that she has been thinking of him this whole time. To me that is sooo much worse than just writing him a letter because now she can’t give that to anyone else, she wasted it on him. And also considering the fact that he hasn’t proposed yet, and was clear he was still making up his mind, it was a little too soon on her end and I can 100% see that scared him away.
Matthew treated AD differently from how he treated the other ladies when they first entered the pod. He was very rude and disrespectful. He came across as real weird.

Re: Chelsea Jess & Jimmy- Jimmy was definitely out the game once Jess revealed she had a child. Idk if it’s editing but it felt like a lot of the convo came from Jess’s POV. And once she made it known she’s a mom, it’s like the convo is more focused on her and her child. Didn’t really learn much about Jimmy. Wish he just told her from jump he wasn’t ready to be a parent. TBF to Chelsea she said based off 2 features she’s been told that was her doppelgänger. She does look like Megan Fox&Miley Cyrus IMO. Idk if she ever really spoke to Jimmy about how she feels about her appearance. Even if he doesn’t find her to be his type physically, it’s her who keeps trying to force him to say what she wants to hear about her looks. I don’t think that’s fair to him. Don’t think he’d be better with Jess tbh.
Great review! I think she’s pretty so it’s not me throwing shade at all but I think that Chelsea looks more like Lizzy Caplin (the actress who played Janis in the original Mean Girls movie) than she does Megan Fox. Matthew was definitely this season’s villain. I get immature vibes from Laura and Jeramy 🤷🏼♀️ maybe I’m wrong. My favorite so far is also Kenneth and Brittany. I do like Amy/Johnny but we need to see more of them and AD and cautiously Clay. I’m just not sure what to think of him since those comments about her working out and the yelling at her (though to his credit, he did apologize). Chelsea and Trevor should have been together in my opinion. That preview at the end of the 6 episodes though for the episodes to come, do we have a good season ahead of us! This is already SO MUCH better than last season in my opinion! 👏
I actually think Chelsea’s facial features look so much like Megan Fox. BUT she made the biggest mistake picking Jimmy over Trevor! They had instant chemistry. I’m praying that they have a Zach/Bliss moment & end up getting together when they leave to go home!! Rooting for them 🎉
Hey hey! I took a look at the behind the scenes footage and there wasn’t too much new to discuss, however I’m gearing up for next week’s season one release, so I’ll definitely be dropping lots of reactions and videos then!
Also for Jessica its more realistic that she date another single parent why would anyone settle to be someones 2nd (when you have no kids) when you can be someone elses first. She should understand it's unfair for her not to be upfront about being a single mom because most people don't want to share their life partner emotionally, financially and timewise with another child/family so that there is less investment in their blood family down the road. Her and her ex started a family they couldn't finish even though she was young/came from a hard life but at the end of the day we can't make others suffer for our mistakes
I cant blame jimmy freaking out at the child mention. Shes not even young, shes 10! Hoenstly the fact Jessica came on this show expecting to bring home a whole marriage to her CHILD is insane and does not make her look like a good mom. You should never bring strange men around your kid, especially a daughter, and one-two months of hanging out is in fact still a stranger, you have never seen them interact with a kid, you dont know what porn they watch, and you dont know how their family will react to a step child. Like we see so many stories of step kids hating their step parents and a big indicator seems to be whether or not the children got to know and in a way approve of the partner and union before hand. As someone that was and is a step child, there are a lot of ways relationships need to be managed, and Jessica does not seem to understand that.
Poor Chelsea has such low self-esteem (even though she does look a bit like Megan fox in the face) and Jimmy seems to lack the ability to recognize this plus he's not being honest with himself that he's not attracted to her cause when you're attracted to someone you naturally want to be around them like the other couples. Chelsea needs to go to therapy or something before coming on a show like this when you need someone to constantly validate you it's because you believe you're not enough to validate yourself
it is clear that chelsea has some serious self esteem issues. in the pods she seemed so cool and confident but then upon reveal her whole demeanor changed and she soon became this whining person who needed constant reassurance. the whole thing with AD at the beach party was in her head. jimmy did nothing wrong in my opinion. he’s probably being slowly turned off by her but ironically it’s because her personality shifted more than being about her appearance. she’s very attractive but she carries herself in a way that demonstrates her lack of confidence. it’s so sad. i hope she recovers after tgis show is over. i’m guessing they will end things at some point. hopefully sooner rather than later. i was really wanting her to choose trevor. that seemed like such a better fit.
Trevor loved Chelsea 100% Jimmy kept her from real love. I love Jessica. My favorite couple is Amy and Johnny and second is kenneth and Brittany they are the most genuine
I liked AD but when Jimmy approached her in Punta Cana the interactions were off. Looked like Jimmy was into her and AD liked the attention... especially after she heard Chelsea talk about his package.

I screamed at the screen when Chelsea chose Jimmy over Trevor. I could feel it wasn't going to end well for her with him. Jimmy is the kind of guy that lays a lot of the heavy lifting on his partner. Anything hard and he's out. Ugh.
Jimmy & Jessica deserve eachother (sorry for anyone who doesn’t agree with me haha) I just think they shoulda got together and Chelsea shoulda chose Trevor! She would have been much happier in my opinion & could have enjoyed the Mexico trip a lot more than she did.
