Totally agree, Zac and Charlie will be soooo important , pressure from the first til last bounce needed in September , and tackling is IMO underated !! LIONS look great , beat pies and dees thru out the season !!!

For me it is when the 1 % are happening with all players. The little shove and run down when an opposing player has broken free and thinks they are in the clear and can kick without pressure. The desperate long range smother. The good play and winning comes off the back of that.

Tarryn Thomas is in the same situation as Tyson Stengle was. I believe he would be better of moving clubs and that club ensuring he had a strong mentor to prove to Tarryn what he can actually achieve if he commits himself to football. Tyson had Eddie Betts.
Why does Kingy think Hawthorn is miles away? We're a season off where the Crows were in 2022, got the youngest list in the AFL and an onball group that is really taking shape as a gun midfield when you consider pick 3 is coming in and we'll get McCabe father son on the cheap. David Hale was awarded the best assistant coach in the league this season for his work with the midfield group. Very talented defence, hopefully CJ to come back in after missing almost the whole season, the biggest area of need down back is another tall defender. The forward line is the biggest issue but we'll have Chol coming in as back-up to Lewis. Without Wingard and Brockman, that leaves only Breust as a small, who may retire at year's end, leaving a lot to be desired in the front half. We could really do with a Bailey Smith type. That said, when Hawthorn were on this season they were very hard to beat and played a really admirable attacking brand of football, you could see the belief in the playing group Sam has instilled building as the season went on. Seven wins is nothing to write home about but there was a massive chasm between Hawthorn and the Eagles and Roos when you consider pre-season expectations were similar. Let's not forget the Hawks beat both Brisbane and Collingwood and smashed teams out of the middle at times.
When Tex Walker takes a great grab and while walking back with the determined look on his face, you can just see that he is going to kick the goal, no if, buts or maybes. If I see it in the first quarter of the game, I know that the Crows are on today. Hey boys I'm a big fan of both of use but to say there's no football this week is disrespectful to the aflw in whole Melbourne v Collingwood tonight AFLW SEASON OPENER. THERES NO EXCUSES we have no Afl games this week so why wouldn't you spend a few mins to help promote the aflw.
Corne thinks that all other 17 coaches should be sacked so Hinkley would be the best coach in the league. Problem is the new 17 would be better than Hinkley too.
