Hoyne never lets anyone interrupt him mid sentence. He'll just pause for a second, raise his voice and continue talking over the other person.....GANGSTA
This is the beauty of the Swans - they've actually not had really full games all year. Even against the Roos, the first quarter wasn't great. Plus not all our guns play well together. So having Papley return to his AA form, Heeney having a break, Parker and Mills still gathering form, Warner, Gulden, Rowbottom and Grundy still being consistently good to great. Given how every other team has had huge dips, when the Swans finish this season off and win the GF easily, we will all look back and pretend we knew how inevitable it was.
I'm not surprised about Gulden at all. I'm a Swans man, and his ball use has been terrible the last 4 weeks. His last 3 qtrs on the weekend was very good, but he has to pull his head in a bit.
As a Swannies fan I'm nervous about this week. If Hipwood and Daniher can click and kick 6+ goals between them off the absence of Cameron I think we're in trouble. Midfield battle will be very interesting too
I never understood how Tim English made All Australian last year: he is excellent outside of the ruck, with precision kicking, handballing a marking. But he is routinely beaten in the ruck, often non-competative. Last week against Carlton, he surprised me and actually held his own in the ruck. Hopefully, he has gotten over his disdain for rucking.
That’s the entire point of the conversation champ. It’s not the typical “ruckman role” that’s being discussed. They’re saying it’s everything else besides the rucking that makes Max great 🤦♂️
@@Josh82420 Thanks muscles. Back to the original point, Gawn discussed far too often - De Koning, Xerri and Grundy to name a few who have had more impact for their sides this season
@@skinnyjon327 now I know you definitely didn’t watch the video. That’s statistically not true, Hoyney has been through this exact topic of ruckman and their impact on more than one occasion, especially on Grundy. There’s a reason Max has 6-7 AA’s and it’s because he’s a class above the others with his impact outside of the typical ruck role - from a pies supporter
Tell you what I don't rate. Paralysis by analysis involving these kind of 'stats'. The most overrated part of the game. You can have all the stats in the world, but the game is mostly won between the ears.
