Rudy Giuliani mocks asian accents/culture and deemed as racist and you guys do it in every video and think it’s ok and everyone agrees with it wtf??????
@customvideo454 Good Domino's is pretty good. If you have to feed a lot of people, they usually have really good deals. I would also prefer a mom and pop or a small business pizza shop, but Domino's isn't too bad.
I’ve always liked Jersey Mike’s the most out of any sub franchise. It’s the freshest of the 6, and the bacon there is amazingly crunchy, the vinaigrette is also very good. It’s definitely the franchise with the best Italian sub, the meat quality they use is actually very good. They have some great cheese cuts, and the meat cuts are villainy good. Just from the brand alone.
yeah i got a turkey bacon sub w\for lunch with extra bacon cheese and mayo and no veggies and it slapped hard i kinda like the subway meatball sub with extra mayo and extra cheese to though
I agree with Ryan. Support mom and pop delis...especially now. That being said if we're talking about chain sandwiches, Jersey Mike's all day. I'm not even sure how thats debatable :)
Local sub places are usually alot better than chain sub places. It depends on the place, but I mean in general. If you want a good Italian sub, go to a local place. For chains, I like Quiznos. I have not tried Jersey Mike.
Jersey Mikes for this Jersey guy. I can't ever resist the cheese steak, and I love the story about how the employee bought the place....franchised...and now privately owns an empire. Cheers...good sandwiches!!! Mad props to Firehouse to donate proceeds to local firefighters...I feel like Subway is a decade past its time. My local one just went under recently.
Jersey's Mike's overall is the best. I think Jimmy Johns got the best white bread, but their sandwiches got no flavor. And Quiznos is straight garbage.
@@ukjent3159 No other sub place has better, crispy, almost fresh ingredients like JM's. However, Firehouse Subs is second. Though, I don't really care for warm subs. Haven't been there in years, so I don't remember if they do cold ones too.
I know they all said Quiznos tasted better and its bread was much better and if you know anything about sandwiches it's always the bread that makes the sandwich
So, I never understood the hype over Jersey Mike's until I tried a sandwich from there recently. It's SO much better than any sub I've had anywhere else (unfortunately I live in the Midwest, so I don't have an actual family owned sub shop to compare it to).
When you picked Subway over Quiznos I almost stopped the damn video. lol. Also they are not in a lot of places but Dibella’s has the best subs anywhere 👍
Thanks for continuing to bring us great videos!!! Weird, I always associated Togos with California...Andrew, your Honey Baked Ham bit was hilarious :-)
I've always preferred Hot Sanwiches with a crunchy toasted bread and melted cheese so I'm a Quizzno's guy. If I wanted a cold sandwich with deli meats i could just make that at home lol
Kinda wasn’t fair everything that was on a jersey mikes you can get at subway they have different kinds of bread and seasoning, oils ,vinegar and even the veggies you didn’t get the same ingredients on all of the sandwich’s plus you can get all sandwich’s heated up or toasted.. you should of had them made exactly the same
Jenn Sutherland I agree they should be made same but it does make a difference that some shops slice meat fresh like Jersey mike’s versus subway, which tastes to me like pre sliced grocery store lunch meat. fresh sliced meats taste better. But like the boys said... go to your local shop 😁
I think having the sandwiches made the most common way for each shop is the only way to have this challenge. You can get the same basic roll from each shop but you get the house version of each sandwich.
On your next awesome video, can you guys do a blind taste test? Put your taste buds to the ultimate taste test palette. Go sandwich 1, 2, 3, etc... then add 1-5 score and see which has the highest score.
It smells that way because they proof their own bread...it’s the yeast you’re smelling, there’s too much yeast in their bread. I’m a chef, I have 2 culinary degrees and worked for them when I was 15.
Subway: jalapeno stems, paper thin meat, triple thick bread, and the worst produce quality there is. Tastes like preservatives. Jimmy Johns: Very simple but actually fresh and good. Affordable and fast like they strive to be. Only complaint is the bread is like half an inch too narrow and the ingredients always fall out as I bit into it idk. Firehouse: Only had it once but was thoroughly impressed and plan to go again soon. Quiznos: Only had a couple times but no complaints. Havent had the rest.
Of those 6, I'd pick Jersey Mike's every time. But I'd throw in another regional wildcard: Bay Area-based Ike's Love and Sandwiches. They have locations up & down California, plus a few in Nevada and the Phoenix-metro area, and they do have a higher price-point than Subway, but they are amazing.
I've tried all but Togo's.....Jersey Mike's all day long!!! Here in Canada, where Firehouse has been expanding faster than Jersey Mike's, there are lots of folks going on how good Firehouse is; they really have no idea!! Jersey Mike's is the best!!
Dope beats. The production is really good. Thank you for your positivity. You asian mom videos are chill my mom and grandma is like that word up @fungbros
I yet to have Jersey Mike's, Quiznos is mf awesome haven't had it in awhile, and Subway a'ight, and Jimmy Johns is good and I want Firehouse Subs, heard they the ish....Damn I'm hungry
JJ's was also my go to in college - would smash a Totally Tuna once a week. Also from the east cosat so agree, Jersey Mike's tastes the best and they even offer sweet peppers. Pretty sure that's only an east coast thing. Hit up a Capriotti's if you have one near you. Maybe do one supporting local sandwich shops? I live in Los Angeles and a few of my favorites are: All About the Bread, Whiches on Wilshire, Brothers Sandwich Shop, Uncle Paulie's and The Carving Board. Great vid!
It looks like you got the #9 from Jimmy John's as the "Italian", but as a driver and a manager there I have to say if you come in and ask for an "Italian" it is so annoying lol. We have the 5 Vito, the 7 Spicy East Coast Italian, and the 9 Italian Night Club, and I have to clarify every. single. time. This has been a P.S.A.
Subway doesn't even compare it is the worst. If they weren't cheap they would be bankrupt. You never know how great a sub can taste until you tasted anything else besides subway
Jimmy Johns for the price. Jersey Mike’s if you want the real deal and have the money. Not everybody has 12 dollars for a sub and if you’re like me have at least 4 family run Italian pizza restaurants around them for only $8 who make it just as good.
$9.50 for a basic Subway sub?? I’ve lived 11 years in California (mostly Silicon Valley, 2yrs in San Diego) and I’ve never paid that much. Is Subway in LA just more expensive?
Anytime you go to JJs, sub mayo for JJs mustard and add hot peppers!! But you need to try Goodcents too. They cut their meat and cheese fresh. I will always pick JJs though!!
I’m a jimmy johns employee I’m ridiculously fast. I get orders out to customers before they are done paying. And my subs are good I always hook my customers up with an extra portion of Vito or maybe throw a bacon strip on there or something on the low lol them sandwiches look nothing like mine.
