The spear is one of those moves that requires really good timing on both parties to look good, timing to take the move and timing to initiate the impact. Unless you're Rhino and can kill your opponent regardless of if theyre ready lmao

Rhino, Roman and Bron Breakker spears are S tier in my opinion, Edge and Goldberg are A tier.

I liked Edge's style of falling to his knees as he hit you, slamming you into the ground right as he connects.

Goldberg has a VICIOUS spear, he used to rip people in half. But when I think of the spear, immediately think of the Rated R Superstar Edge

Big Show Spear looks devastating cause he make use of the opponent speed to recoil the damage to them, plus with big size also make us wonder if we are seeing an 80 km/h motorbike go straight to a 40 km/h truck at the opposite front. Not a Spear really mean about but still kind of pretty interesting to be mentioned, A- in my opinion

A spear needs 3 things to be effective as a move I think. Speed, mass, and inertia. The person giving the spear needs to accelerate to attack speed quickly, have enough mass to be convincing with the hit, and needs to go THROUGH the person taking the spear. Lashley, for example, has speed and mass, but he doesn’t go through his opponent, he rolls with them. Big show just has mass, but no speed and no inertia. Bubba had mass and inertia, just no speed behind it. But, Rhyno, Breaker, and Goldberg (and to a lesser extent Roman) have all 3 aspects. They move fast, they’re big strong guys with a lot of mass, and they absolutely drive straight through the center of their opponents. In their hands, a Spear is a devestating tool.

Not sure about all time but nobody in the business right now has a better spear than Bron. I've never seen anyone run as fast as him while delivering the move and it just looks devastating every single time.

I like the Spear in general but for me nothing beats the Gore. no one ever kicked out of the Gore - if they kicked out, it was just a Spear. (Rhyno) compared to the Gore, Edge and Roman are just A+. I also agree with you Con ... Bron Breakker is very much up there with the Gore. Goldberg is a B at best but I'm biased in my hatred for GB.

A couple of Big Show's spears to me never felt much like an actual spear being run through you, it looked more like a wall with a spear attached to it that people happened to fall on. Which worked, he just stood his ground and kind of launched a little at people coming at him and it worked out.

Where the hell is my man Ricky Starks at, he does a fantastic spear, not to mention other bigger names who used the spear on the regular former WWE diva Kaitlyn, Charolette Flair has always done a spear, TNA OG the wildcat Chris Harris one half of Americas Most Wanted, Moose does a spear almost identical to Lashleys, and finally Mil Muertes from lucha underground used the "Reapers Trident".

The two biggest omissions from this list are Kairi Sane and Ricky Starks, actually amazing spears Batista has always had a SHIT spear. Idk how it was between his main moves for so long. It's a D at best. Also you're definitely still rating the wrestlers not the moves

Stop factoring in whether it's a finisher or not. It doesn't mean anything. Some people do signatures better than others do it as a finisher. Christian's spear is twice what Edge's is, I will die on that hill. Edge's isn't even a spear, it's a running cuddle.

Batista's spear always looked like he wanted to hit the opponent with the opposite side of where he was running, like he was running to hit the wrestler on the right side with hsi right side but turned to hit them with the left side
