The thing is every youtuber is gonna have their rise and fall. This is also the reason why I'm not gonna be a youtuber. At least, I won't do it for a living because that's how a lot of youtubers go on the decline later when they run out of content to generate, and that's where the problems begin.

In the case of Nikocado Avocado, I think it's awful that people didn't really care about him when he played violin, didn't really care about him when he did vegan muckbangs, but when he started eating himself to death his views and thus income skyrocketed. I'm not saying he doesn't have personal responsibility, but still -- doesn't this say something about our culture, that we'd rather watch a guy eat himself to death than watch a guy play violin? He was actually REALLY good at playing the violin.

It sucks because Sky made up basically my entire teenage years. His videos got me through my mom's divorce and my whole stressful high school life. His videos were a huge comfort in a life with two abusive parents and siblings who loved to bully me for no reason. So the reveal of what he was doing the entire time I was watching him was so sickening to me, I had to take an entire day to myself to process everything. And it sucks, because I still think about some of the funny moments in those videos, but every time I do I get sick to my stomach because of who Sky really is.
