My initial impression was just to think about my brother and it is true that he got me into football cards when he bought that box, I think collecting in general started much earlier with my parents and also being so impressed with my grandma's library so it was definitely fun to take a look back at that and show some of the things I've enjoyed collecting over the years. @@zachandporter thanks Zach! That was a fun VR so thanks for putting that together. Yep, Garbage Pail kids were pretty great. They really were the perfect thing for me at that age. I am a huge Seattle music fan from back then. Not all, but most of my favorite bands are from that era and the whole "Seattle Sound." Yes, that miniseries is excellent! I was thrilled when my dad gave me the Ken Burns book, I think he knew that I would appreciate that. So I will happily add that to my library. Thanks for watching! Pretty cool that your brother got you started with the Long card. I haven't ever cared for the Beatles, but I very much enjoyed their solo efforts. Kind of odd I know. I had no idea that King wrote a few of those books. Wow!
@@CleanCheapShots thanks drew! I love the beatles, but I love their solo stuff too. Interestingly, I think George Harrison had my favorite Solo songs overall. Yes, Stephen King is very prolific. I know his books are not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoy them and I have read every novel he's ever written. I know he's only got a few years left in the tank likely, and I dread the day when I'll no longer be able to get the new Stephen King books. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

Hi Brian, While I knew about your mom's and brother's influence on your card collection, I did not know about your Kevin Costner, Stephen King and your love of music. I remember seeing the making of Thriller on a continuous loop at Hills in 1984. What a huge deal that album was. I can't believe how many Stephen King books you have. I may have missed it but what is your favorite Stephen King book? How about movie? I haven't read his books, but my favorite movie is either Christine or Stand By Me. I really enjoyed this deeper look into your collecting.

I remember renting the Thriller video on VHS as a kid and watching it with the making of documentary about a million times 😊 I've read every Stephen King novel and I'm hoping to one day have them all for my library. I've got most... But missing a few of the oldest ones. My favorite books of his are: 1. The Dark Tower series 2. The Stand 3. It 4. 11/22/63 5. Misery And a bunch of others I could easily put in his top ten. My favorite movie adaptation is The Shawshank Redemption and then Stand By Me. Great movies. Christine was a good one too. That and Silver Bullet scared me to death when I was a kid (I should've waited until I was at least 15 before watching those 🤣). Thanks for watching!!
@@dvitoc yeah, the offensive line has been atrocious. We won't even know if Williams was any good or not if they can't keep him alive on the field. But yes, I love our defense and special teams has been good as well. That punter, who William said wouldn't be punting much has been punting a lot lol..... But he's been excellent too! Hopefully they can make some adjustments and improvements on the offensive line and help Williams get settled in. That Houston game was just ugly to watch on offense. Hoping this weekend is better! 🤞
I saw counting crows open up for matchbox twenty in 2017. I wish I still had my garbage pail kids, but I traded all my cards with neighbor for his wrestling posters
@@TonyBlack574 that would have been an awesome concert! I see the Counting Crows every time they are in town. They've been a favorite of mine since 1994. Adam duritz is a great guy. That would be great to see matchbox 22! Yeah I never traded my garbage pail kid cards, but when we moved when I was in 6th grade they went missing. I sure love them though LOL. And hey, wrestling posters are nice too! I used to love the old days with hulk Hogan and all those guys. That was a great time in wrestling. Thanks for watching!
@@chicagofanpaul yeah, this was a fun VR for sure 😊 Ask for Caleb williams, it's been kind of tough for me because I did not like him whatsoever in college, so trying to become a fan of his in Chicago has been.... Interesting LOL. I think it would have been great to have kept Fields this year, and have filled start. Williams hasn't even really had a chance to show if you can play because he's under so much pressure all the time. With Fields he had that big body and physicality where he could run and make something of those plays when they fall apart. I think giving Williams a year or at least half a season to observe while Phil's played would have been ideal. time will tell, but the offense has had a really rough go of it so far haven't they?
