Edmunds is a stud, great card! Get Caleb out of that box. That Moore is a beauty. Palmer, the one who your sister let get away. Whoa, Munoz auto!! Cool sweaters card.
You definitely started about the same time I did in the 90s, but college/life took me away for years. So, you have more in the later 90s into earlier 00s & 10s than me. I started up big again in 17'. So, as you know earlier sets didn't have a lot of TRUE hits. So, you definitely have more hits than me. I do have a ton of rookie cards though & lots of hits from 17' on. Not much in 20- 23 either as I refused to pay the BS prices. Now look at the 20 & 21 classes. Don't look as impressive for what people paid, do they? 😅 Hope you are well. Glad your Bears are doing well, but will be curious to see them take on an actual challenger to see if it's real or not.😅 Keep your fingers 🤞 crossed for my poor beat up, broken down Chiefs this weekend. Won't be easy. But I always try to keep the faith with Andy, Patty, Spags & Jones in the line up. 😅 Take Care ✌ 🏈
10:58 Probably my favorite cards. Not sure why? LOL! 4:55 Rest in peace, sad work place injury. Nice Anthony Munoz as well. Recently I have been picking up defensive players, great prices and they need more hobby attention!
@@danmule4131 oh man, you're right?! I'm not sure what I was thinking! That's almost as bad as mistaking him for his dad Ferrell 😬 Thanks for the correction, and for watching!
I thought the same thing when you showed that Will Grier. Glad yo mentioned the SCI hype. Haha. I will always think of Brent Musberger's call when they showed AJ's gf/now wife during that 'Bama college game. 😂😂 Awesome that you have an auto of him.
This is such a great series idea. Love those shiny Edge Elway cards. I snagged that little set of those a couple years ago. That Turbin booklet auto is sweet. Also love those Barry Sanders shiny cards as well. Thanks for sharing.
Some sweet cards Mr Bear Cards and a great video. Have a good Friday to you, weekend coming up and until your next great video Mr Bear Cards ✌️ to you.
Love Merlin, but I personally remember him more from Little House on the Prairie. 😅 I am a die hard Chief, as you know but have also rooted for the Rams since I was Little so had obviously heard of him. Nice pick up. Thanks for sharing Take Care ✌ 🏈
Hoping the sub boxes get straight by the end of the year. This has been the worst year of sub boxes I've ever seen. Need some OGs to come back & show them how it's done. I think, if I had to rate them BICs is still top but they're only seasonal right now, the The Hit Box and Boombox last. I'd rather thet take out those 2 old 💩 packs & make all the others higher end packs. JMHO
Congrats on the Merlin Olsen jersey auto. He was such an outstanding player and more importantly a great guy. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great day.
@@scottspaulding2158 thanks Scott! Yeah I think it's so impressive he made 14 Pro Bowls... Back when it REALLY meant something. Great player, great guy. I wasn't around for his playing career but loved him calling games and on Little House... But I've sure grown to appreciate what he did on the field as I've gotten older. One of the greats. Thanks for watching!
Love seeing this addition (as well as the other Olsens you showed us). For me, he was the voice of autumn Sunday afternoons, since we was so often calling the late afternoon football games. I wanted to get his rookie but it's just not a great looking card to me so I've never pulled that trigger. Probably need to "settle" on a signed card of some sort. I believe he was in the Upper Deck Legends sets and I love those. Thanks for sharing!
@@TonyBlack574 thanks so much Tony! Having the HOF inscription really song with game worn jersey made this the one I really wanted to get. It'll be a nice book end to the player run I'm working on. Have a great week buddy!
@@ScaryTerryCards thanks John! Youngblood was a beast and I'm a HUGE Lenny Moore fan. That's great you have Lenny's auto! I have a game used Jersey card of his. I'm glad I have it but any time I get the older players jerseys in a card I feel bad that the jerseys got cut up. But hey, if they're doing it anyway, it's nice to be one of the collectors who gets to have a piece 😁 that Berry auto from collectors edge sounds awesome!
@@ZiggyNo thanks Ziggy! I thought I'd change it up and get a card I really wanted this month. The boomboxes are fun to open, but this card will definitely be one I enjoy in my collection more than anything I ever pull out of those. Thanks so much for watching, hope you're doing well!
Sometimes you have to do that, get something that means a lot to you. Yes, the allure of the mystery box is there but sometimes you need that guaranteed hit. Great looking pickups too.
Now that is cool. Merlin Olsen was such a greater player. Great auto card with a patch! You made the right choice. Merlin Olsen over a Boombox all day.
This is awesome. I hate to say it I do but man nothing beats the 85 Bears. I remember I was 5 years old and GI Joe came out the refrigerator Perry figurine lol
@@PoppaBearandBabyBear.-be5jz that is very true, in my book. I love that team. And I always wanted the Fridge GI Joe but never got it as a kid. Then a few years ago my sister got it for me 😊 Such a great team. So talented AND full of characters 😁
@@CleanCheapShots thanks Drew! And oh yes, the last autos are just awful. Is rather have a nice looking non auto than those. I think these athletes are getting a million stickers and many just can't be bothered with a real signature anymore. It's terrible.
Hey Brian, you have such a deep collection of players. Not just the biggest name skill position players, which I like. That is an awesome Larry Robinson card. An unbelievably strong and athletic man. It is a shame he died so young. It is surprising that Allen Robinson ‘s career has gone down hill .
@@tjmacvintagecardsnostalgia648 thanks Terry! There's definitely a bunch of variety in these boxes. It's been fun going through them for the videos. Yeah, Allen Robinson had been so good and just sort of fizzled out. As for Larry Brown, he was just fantastic. Gone way too soon. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
