I love the book, I'm currently reading it and it speaks to my heart, so much. My favourite qoute (from the Chinese grandfather): "Always have a second set of papers and some gold coins in a fast junk in the harbor." Loooved that one.
Id like to find a country like a backup country or two in case shit really hits the fan in the US and would like citizenship here in the US and other countries and possibly keep my money in another country and have a home there as well. Is that a possibility?

Fascinating perspective. Nothing is better than first hand knowledge. Having traveled extensively for many years, I know how challenging it can be in a strange place with unfamiliar circumstances. It took a lot of courage and determination to create your lifestyle and business from the ground up. Anyone can do anything with access to unlimited resources. It takes a creative mind and entrepreneureal talent to create it on a budget and then grow it into a serious business that is marketable to folks other than the mega rich. You have apparently done that mainly on willpower and talent.
. Andrew thank you so much, we have a lot in common. I will be getting your book. Congratulations, you are reaching a lot of mile markers in a person's life . Pretty much you have done what I'd say 98% of the people want to do is have a sense of freedom a sense of accomplishment a sense of self-worth and the dignity of a Frank Sinatra song, you did it your way. I hope in the near future will be face-to-face speaking about your services for higher. Don't change.
Hi Andrew, would enjoy a video on what happens to your USA credit cards after you renounce? This would be helpful on what to do with your USA cards, do you need to apply again as a non US citizen, do you pay USA AMEX or non USA AMEX-do they get closed etc? Thank you again!
Any experience or opinions on Ecuador? My girlfriend was born and has family there so I have a free place to stay whenever. We've been talking about visiting and possibly setting up a business/buying property there. I need her to coach me on some Spanish lessons :P
What about people born in Germany who doesn't feel German or people born in France who doesn't feel French? Maybe they see the USA/Canada as the ultimate place to move to. Mixed feelings about your mission at times.
You can tell all these people just inherited. Where did the starting capital come from? A loan? Any small loan has to be guaranteed and only your parent could do that. Nobody just "goes and starts a business", it's all parents money.
My brother-in-law saved money while working at a hotel. Over time, he bought two taxis, quit his job, and drove one of the taxis. After a few more years, he opened his own car rental company. He is now a millionaire, and his parents were poor. His father passed a long time ago, and his mother is in a top nursing home, and he visits her all the time.
I didn't... I started making $27k/yr military in the U.S. and eating .17 cent ramen, saving 80%, not perfect, wasted a few bucks on some stuff, but kept true to always putting a way at least 2/3 of paycheck most of the time; and next thing you know, a few years later, you have a respectable balance in your account; and you can maybe think of doing alternative moves...
