In an era with no air conditioning, Jane's clothing was not only quite fetching, but very practical in the warm months. 😊😊

I like how they addressed how every generation is “excited by” or shocked rather at the younger generations fashions!

And people always forget how they were hated by their parents generation and hate on their own young. We're a pretty pathetic species, aren't we. We don't learn

In the proper historical context, this is one of the funniest things I have ever heard. Quite well written .

Once again more evidence of "The more things change, the more they remain the same." That article could've been written in any time in the last two hundred years with a few minor detail changes, including today.

Good job. You are outstanding with language and subtle humor. You also put to use your unique sense the interconnectivity of history. Your story have me concerned with the well being of Flapper Jane. Can you give me her contact information? If she is single and given up her wild ways, I would like to look her up. Thank you in advance for your efforts toward this most humble request.

My grandmother was a flapper, I have picture of her in a white cloche hat at age 16 in 1925

My mother was 15 in 1925...in her cloche hat and chemise. Her beads hung correctly.

I just read the book by Joshua Zeitz and I couldn't help wondering if there wasn't some kind of lure, the style was nice, dresses above the knees and long to short sleeves. But their were rumbustious & sexually aggressive, was that the theme? It so happens some went crazy & confused...They donned it the jazz era....Davis-Lynch, Inc. v. I'm perfectly real lol. I sometimes respond to comments, but I don't have time to address most questions. It's just that I have a full-time job with long hours on top of this, so outside of making videos, there's not much time left to reply.
