@@KevinKoolx it wasn’t a story on par with the campaign and I feel like that’s what to many compared it to. But it wasn’t as bad as most say it was. The gameplay was gimmicky honestly but it was okay for what it was. I personally wouldn’t mind a new take on Spartan Ops and Firefight to return

Yeah, it's a shame, because Locke could be genuinely super interesting. I'd be happy for them to bring him back, but if they do he needs better writing and time to develop more.

@Samuel Loegan Destiny is literally that lol. However, Destiny doesn't have a interesting story or characters, except Cayde-6, who was killed off for some reason. So Halo could definitely rule the fpsmmorpg if 343 actually put their best work in.

@@skubdude587 ayyyyyy that would be nice :). At least something like this would make us have fun while waiting for a DLC campaign of Halo (or, waiting for the next new game of Halo?) Also, the story narrative in Destiny is actually pretty good. There are like 3, 4 or 5 seasons of Destiny that have very good story. Witch Queen and Taken King are awesome. Can't say the same with Lightfall though...XD

Currently planning to make an infection/extraction map in forge. If 343 doesn't make it to where we have to extract an AI while fighting off the horde then I'll do it myself. Basically you spawn in, pick your load out then fight through Spartan difficulty infected bots until you use scripted keypads and puzzles to find the AI chamber, hold out to extract it in a stronghold zone, then fight your way to the exit stronghold zone blowing up and despawning all Bots and infected players

It’s interesting how much thought, money and resources go into a story that doesn’t matter.. All that effort, money and resources would’ve been better spent for the actual story…as the actual story has been lacking for 11+ years now 343’s incompetence is showcased best by their priorities.

Hasn't been good since Halo Wars 2. 4, spartan ops, 5, and Infinite are not good. It's been years since I've actually enjoyed lore implications. 343 is ass at keeping continuity and developed characters. They don't understand Halo and never will. So I should have rephrased, Halo HAD a good story. What ever it is now is something I'd compare to the star wars sequel trilogy

I will not forgive them… I bought the freaking game with hopes back in release. I got an awesome coating. Then I got a badass ace of spades card. Classic nam card on helm my dudes. I was so hyped. Then I learned I can only use my special edition coating on a boring armor… and same with the ace of spades card… like really?????? I want a damn refund.

Lol you really trying to make their barebones multiplayer “story” sound like it’s fleshed out. Took a year and a half to get our first SINGLE cutscene that did anything for the story. 343 is absolute garbage and anyone peddling their garbage contributes to the laziness and incompetence
