All I know about nick is he is the only person who is able to talk when there’s a chance Rip pauses between sentences in the show.

The host, Ray, loves to talk about himself lmao. But Nick is great, seems charming and cool. Does a great job with the videos. Starting Strength has great video aesthetic. Simple, bold texts. Crisp, clean edits. The background for SS Radio isn't distracting, but pleasant on the eyes. Everything is pleasantly simple and straightforward.

Amazing show as always. One thing I’ve always wondered about Nick though is his experience with the NLP? I’ve always been curious as a fan of his what his numbers are. I really think his contribution to the SS radio podcast is fantastic. He’s great at answering the questions Rippetoe is too frustrated to answer lol. Keep up the great work guys.

Haha, the wearing Vibram Five Fingers meaning you're 10 years behind comment was great. (I wore them for about 6 years from 2010, while also following Robb Wolf. Funny parallel with THE GREATEST COACH ON THIS PLANET. :P) Same 10 years behind applies btw to kettle bells swings!

Nick has got to have a big-picture plan here because Rip is gonna retire one day. He’d be a great person to take over. One little tweak is he’ll have to develop a little more bold personality but that’s hard to do around someone like Rip.

To play the devil’s advocate, what happens to all of these gyms when this economy finally runs over the cliff? People will pay for coaching when they have disposable income, but when it comes down to food and utilities…what then? It seems like gym membership would be the first thing to go when money becomes scarce.

I think it's coming too. It will probably affect us. Wealthy people typically are prepared for downturns and usually profit from them. If it's economic apocalypse, it doesn't matter either way. In the meanwhile, we have work to do and will focus on what's within our control.

I’m interested in becoming a coach but have bills and responsibilities that get in the way. Plus, at 61 and with very long arms, I can’t power clean, lol. I wish I would have discovered this in my 30s or even 40s, but even now, running the program has made a huge difference in my life. Thanks for all you guys do.
