The lyrics are painting a sad story, and Park Hyo Shin conveys the emotions really well! I love how he uses "you, we, us" instead of straight up saying the sex of the other person, it makes it easier for everyone to relate.

If you opt-out from kpop korean music scene has amazing singers&bands/rockers with incredible songs. Not many people would know of it but if you wanna have similar experience you should react to Kim Jin Ho of SG Wannabe singing their hit song As I live... (Saldaga) in Immortal Songs 2 (The ones we've missed episode) in memory of their late member will pierce your heart. Before that performance after their member's passing he had shunned himself out of entertainment business and it was his first tv performance with audience. You can totally feel every pain he had gone through during that time with his voice and singing. Like Park Hyoshin here when artists are lost in their emotions and confronted by their own singing it's always mesmerizing. Other performances of such are Kyuhyun of Super Junior singing ''I dont love you'' and also ''Y si fuera Ella'' and ''breathe'' Onew of Shinee singing ''Selene 6.23'' of late Jonghyun. Thank you for reacting to this achingly beautiful song…this is my favourite version that he does. But I first heard of him through Forestella, who did a beautiful homage to Hyo-Shin’s performance back on 3rd July 2020 on KBS OPEN CONCERT…during covid. That’s when I first fell in love with this song. Awkward Robot also has a lyric video of FORESTELLA’s version.
