The fact that among those women one of them was a wife of a Kargil war Vetaran army n the way he said "I fought for India but couldn't protect my wife" . Seeing people younger than me being worried about their houses burning and praying and crying for the safety of their family members is gut wrenching. Healing from the years of mistrust and generational trauma would be definitely a big challenge, not only for the government, courts, civil officers but for the entire humanity. Being a normal citizen and having nothing in the power to do and say anything regarding the matter is even more painful as neither am I a resident nor a victim of the crimes that has happened. At these times all I can do is hope for the best and for the people to come to a common ground. May peace spread in the hearts of the people of Manipur soon.

To be honest, We failed as humans. Every country, state, city and even our own locatily has been witnessed to such assaults but we choose to keep quite by not taking actions on ground level. What happened in Manipur is not limited to one group but it's the issue of the human society. This reminds me a Dialogue in Pink Movie, "We should save our boys not our girls. If the boys get saved then automatically all the girls would be saved." So, I took a stand to apologise to all the victims around the world for not raising my voice whenever needed 🙏
I miss the year 2007. I had two friends from the northeast. One was Kuki and the other Meiti. We used to meet up often in the evenings in our college (FC), Pune and jam our hearts out to Indie rock. There was so much exchange of ideas, so much learning, discovering new songs and later some cold coffee. Miss my buddies. I hope this chaos settles and peace prevails.

But none of these godi media channels did enough coverage of that story even though this case was way more serious than seema Haider because Pradeep Kurulkar was part of RSS BJP & he shares the stage with Mohan Bhagwat and many other bjp politicians. Nobody from right wing criticized that. Now just imagine if that DRDO scientist was a Muslim person. You and I both know how Godi media would have covered that story.

Wow, this is the first time I heard Mohak's voice tremble with anger when he was describing the way Manipur was let down by all the pillars of the Indian Government. I think he has reached his limit of patience due to the obscene way Manipur has been treated by all the pillars of our Indian Society at large. On a side note, once the Hon'ble Home Minister's mediation didn't give full results, the Hon'ble Prime Minister should have made a personal visit, just because Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a powerful rallying symbol. In situations like this, optics matter a lot. If the Hon'ble Prime Minister cancels an international trip and visits Manipur, people will get a positive feeling that the central govt considers them as important enough, that there might be a chance of people listening to him. The Prime Minister himself coming down to such a violent conflict zone and personally attempting to mediate is always a powerful move that would inspire people to listen, especially when the Prime Minister has an image as great as our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

I have been following the manipur case since 2 months when it was brought to my attention from this channel and in those two months each and every day i thought why were such horrendous things were not being covered. I feel ashamed while even saying this that i got to know about this from a youtube channel and not from media. People dont actually realise how big of a part media plays a youtuber could never reach to the amount of people media does. There is no excuse for centre's and State government's big failure in state and I am just so thankful that the video got viral and people came to know about what is happening in the state and i just want everyone to know what you seen in that video is just a glimpse of what's happening 150 + deaths 50000+ displaced and we are getting to know this after more than 70 days.
Everything can't be blamed on the PM. It's the duty of the HM to maintain it, although it was their fault which turned out really fatal, they could have controlled it, but they remained silent... That's their fault.

Totally agree with your view. State, Central, Army everyone failed. And BJP is not taking the responsibility. Instead of giving 100% attention to Manipur the BJP is busy in non trivial things. Doing a political campaign for 2024 etc. That's why we need good diplomatic leaders and officers who can guide the dumb politicians and help them to make the right decisions.
