The song that she asked for in the bar with Ruby was 'Gaudété' which is a Christmas hymn but also 'Gaudeté Sunday' is a celebration during advent also known as 'Rose Sunday'. The celebration is supposed to be to signify the close coming of the lord. So maybe Ruby or Susan are a harbinger for a member of the Pantheon. Plus, Mrs Merridew can be etymologically linked back to Mere de Dieu aka ' Mother of God'. Anyway, I don't really know what to do with this information but it seems like it could thematically support the Susan Triad = Ruby's Mother Part of me thinks Mrs Flood is Susan Foreman AND Ruby's mum though, imagine rewatching the Church on Ruby Road with the knowledge that Susan, the doctor's grandaughter (original S1 companion) encouraging Ruby, the doctor's great-granddaughter (new s1 companion) to seize the moment and get in the TARDIS. It would be a great full-circle moment for the show. Plus, it would mean she was always there for Ruby as her neighbor. Susan Triad seems scared and not in control in the finale trailer (like she's being used by The One Who Waits). If the Doctor can break the fourth wall because of his lineage, then Susan F could do so too. I think Susan Triad will accidentally unleash TOWW with Triad Technology in a Torchwood Army of Ghosts scenario. TOWW is probably a new character but if it's a returning villain, Sutkeh the Destroyer or Omega are the only ones who makes sense.
