The fact that we're tying Melusine's hands behind her back by starting her in 3rd ascension should tell you that she's undeniably the best Buster aoe lancer and best lancer overall.
Real answer: melusine Best answer: ereshkigal I have eresh at np5, and shes great for anything, especially cq’s. Melusine is np2 and is way better for farming, but her kit is bad for cq’s from my experience
Not bad but needs a set of specific supports to make her work well in cq, specially Castoria. Ereshkigal is a dps/support so she's great but Melusine does give the insane dmg to end challenge quests faster bc they tend to become a lot harder if you spend many turns on them.
Probably a misguided take (I only started playing 2 years ago), but I always saw Melusine as a Farmer with strong Challenge potential and Ereshkigal as a Challenge Unit with strong Farming potential. Melusine's 3rd skill is both a blessing and a curse to me when you need her as an ST unit.
I love how we had to shoot Melusine in both knees to even make this a conversation, and even then she's still basically on par with the next best competition. Personally I'm always going to use Ereshkigal wherever I can just for the sake of loyalty, but yeah, Melusine is just in a tier of her own.
I ain't gonna lie ZTL you bias for Eresh is showing cause ain't nobody starting with Melusine in her 3rd ascension for buster farming. Handicapping her just to place Eresh in number 1 is really obvious
Well Melusine is BOTH an ST Art AND an Aoe Buster. So I was thinking ... well in "general" the best lancer is Melusine ... but if we were to ONLY look at the buster part ... still the best, but there are contenders ... and I really don't get why you would not count on starting her on 1/2 ascension and popping the 3rd skill from the get go ... And besides I mean when it comes to her, I take her Art form on CQ and her 3rd Skill Buster form on farming ... Eresh and Romulus are better picks than Buster Melu on CQs
The reason why his rating is because while she does have better offense, Eresh has better survivability and support. And her damage is at least comparable now.
@@sibsart2039 Have you read but not understood my comment? Why the hell would anyone give an handicap of Melu that starts in her 3rd asc so no 100 battery? Which is the basis of the video which is unfair since that is basically her gimmick and her selling point. Besides ZTL changed the title of the video so are we restricting ourself on busters aoe or not? The entire video is anyway based on false and unfair premises, what are the criteria of grading them anyway? On the combined performances of CQs and farming? On farming Melu is number 1 IF allowed the 100 battery that I talked about before. If not allowed she would be a contested n 1. On CQ I already said that buster Melu is behind not only Eresh but Romulus too. But the caveut here is that you WILL NOT use a buster aoe Melu when taking on CQs BUT Arts ST Melu which is better than Eresh and Roma 90% of the time. You care very little about having defense and survability when your role is the dps in an Arts team so your teamates provides that for you
@@alexanderlevi9558 oh even starting on asc3, melu still outdamages every other lancer on a VVO comp in farming. also, forgetting how many invuls and evades we get in CQs in which melu has an invul pierce on her NP is foul. during CQs, going in with merlin or castoria fixes the survivability issue anyway. and if for some reason they cant use either support some people like to forget she has a built in invul her 3rd skill. kill the enemies before they kill you 5head LMFAO so i agree, the criteria for the video is absolute rubbish.

I haven't watched yet but I'm gonna take a guess and say it's Melusine. Character is too broken and verstile💀 The real question is who the 2nd best lancer
I have to personally give it to Mel, but because she violates the restriction on this video and is also an excellent Arts ST lancer. Eresh has some nice support potential which I think gives her that little bit to at least be equal to Mel if we ignored Mel's arts capacity, but because she does have that arts capacity, I just have to give it to Mel.
Yeah... the fact you had to gimp melusine in order to even make it a fair fight kinda says it all in 1 sentence... melusine is the girl and deserves the top slot regardless... she is the only servant with a 130% worth of batteries and can just absolutely annihilate almost any node she is put in front of... she has even proven she can take down saber nodes which is just bonkers... hard to give it up to any other servant... almost of any class... there's a reason why she is ex- tier of the gamepress tier list with only arjuna alter... their farming prowess and her ability to be paired with artoria caster for cqs just makes her one of the most flexible units in the game bar none...😂😂😂
As someone who owns a NP3 Eresh it’s dope to see the girl have that slight edge over Melu specifically as a Buster AOE servant. Used her in the Avalon comp with Merlin and Castoria for a few CQs and it’s just absolutely insane how cracked she is😂The versatility of her kit is so good. Blonde Rin go brrrr
Personally, I think you have to factor in Melu's 100% battery because no one starts their Melu in third ascension because of the battery. I do agree without that factor Eresh is better though
You hit the nail on the head at the very start with the "Bug i have high np level morgan", from then on we are talking about "can X do something that morgan can't" and both of the S tier lancers have broken challenge quests.
I know you just did Sabers but I would love to see either ST quick sabers (like how does Setanta compare to Medusa Saber?) or AoE arts Sabers (in your opinion, HAS muramasa fallen off lately on JP?) but I will just enjoy whatever you feel like making next 🌈
ok so ztl buddy pal fiendsmith you gotta understand that when we're talking about which five star is BEST we're talking like who give you the most value in the most situations. and that is unequivocally melusine here. like even if her damage is worse than eresh's (which it's not and you're wrong.) the fact she is ALSO a single target arts dps means that you get WAY MORE bang for your buck. and i say this as a rin enjoyer. like melusine is so good you can use her to farm neutral. hell you can use her to farm sabers sometimes even. i didn't have much respect for your opinion before this video but i am now legitimately asking you: have you even played this game?

Tiré sq por Rumulus (np1) en su día porque decían que en ese momento era el mejor lancer y nunca lo pude usar, las dos veces que lo probé (antes de que llegara Koyanskaya) nunca hacía buen daño. Es más, tenía que terminar las peleas a base de críticos porque su np era muy débil.
Melusine, without a question. She might not be the most powerful in both forms, but she is one of the most versatile Servants in this game. Arts Looping, Buster Looping, Black Grail Dps-ing and even Crit Dps-ing. She can do it all (except Supporting ofc).
i was thinking of this when ptolemy was released. but in melusine's case, she wouldnt want to swap back to asc1-2 on the 3rd turn when farming. she was basically made with koyan and oberon in mind. in ptolemy's case, he doesnt have the cooldown reduc from koyan to transform him back to ST form when farming. also, ptolemy has much more cq value this way. tho, i do agree with the other comment that it should be optional instead
with an NP1 romulus and NP2 melusine, WITHOUTH oberon. Farming Melusine, i'm an ROMA fan, but she's better. CQ from what i have see, Romulus its slightly better on damage and tanking. thats what i get testing them
I want Romulus, I want to use draco Romulus along with maybe another roman servant. Sounds fun to me to always hit your roman special attack with draco along with all the crit buffs
I got scammed by this guy review about eresh saying she's so good but when i got an np1 melu i use her everywhere CQ and farming and the tanguska i use her and she did so great after i got melu i bench eresh 🙂 dont get scammed its still melu
Should I use my Servant Choice (The one time Chance for a 5* at the Start) to get Artoria Lancer? I got Enkidu as a Spook, so I dunno if I'd need another Lancer
Enkidu is great but is more a boss killer. If you dont have an AoE Lancer Latoria is great but I would say go for coverage and pick a class you don't have. Also we around be getting the FSN 20th anni event "Soon" where you can pick a free 5 star Artoira (Saber).
Waver is the guy to pick because supports are king in this game. Cleared all lostbelts and story with Waver+Castoria+borrowed servants from friends and almost no DPS's of my own.
@@Syokool TBF, they announced at AX we will have the FSN anni collab "Soon" (most likely by end of the year) where we get to pick up Saber Arotira for free.
Did this video even need to be made? The problem with this class is that one option is multiple levels above the others, and even lasengle can't do anything about it.
