Just an observation of Jim with that putter, but I feel he shaves a lot more with this one and holed a lot more with his last putter.

This needs a rematch. Bad day at the office for Simon but would be good to see these guys playing a match once Simon's been back playing more golf again.

Honestly feel a bit bad for Simon. Was so hyped by everyone, and he's obviously a good golfer, but clearly out of practice and someone who hasn't played regularly in several years ain't gonna be scratch anymore. Prob closer to a 4-6 range but must've felt a bit pressured by being introduced as the best footballer golfer to try and live up to the title

Caddied for Simon a few times at Royal St George’s, he’s such a lovely humble guy. Think he’d just started a family at the time, he was scratch then, pure ball sticking. Shot about 72 off the backs. Serious Golfer…

A rather tough watch and no banter sadly. Even a bit uncomfortable at times. The Digger couldn’t handle the pressure after being far too hyped up over recent years. You could see he couldn’t wait to get off that course.

After recently having a Stroke, spending time in hospital this channel has really been such brilliant watching! Never played golf seriously but after watching this its really making me wanna get some clubs and lessons (Even with a gammy leg / arm from the Stroke!!) A bit brutal for Simon that 😅 needed to lighten up a bit and relax. Easy to say though obviously felt the pressure after everyone hyping him up. Not everyone completely comfortable in front of a camera

Funny Simon mentioned sawgrass, I played there a few years ago and a 2 ball came up behind us on the back 9 and they were both hitting bombs, didn’t realise until we finished it was Simon and Shevchenko - both are extremely good golfers !!

Been buzzing for this one but had to quit 5 holes in. First time I’ve ever said that as I subscribe and watch every video. Feel for Simon as he was so hyped, definitely need a rematch. But tubes / ange involvement is vital as that was a tough watch 🥱 Keep up the great work, every vid can’t be 10/10!

Good game, but Bully didn't help by rabbiting all the time while Simon was setting up on some shots. When he was putting to pull one back on 13 was particularly egregious!

Best footballer golfer without a doubt has to be ex St Johnstone, Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Preston player Callum Davidson.

I prefer uncompetitive Bullard far more fun without the mood swings. As, was the case a few vids back with 'Do you want me in the next video?' which was uncomfortable to watch.

Treat every golfer the same, whether it's Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood or Simon Davies.A lot of unsportsmanlike behaviour on your behalf throughout that game Jimmy

Met Simon a few times when i was a kid and he had just signed for Spurs. Was our best player for a good few years and always a nice guy. Would love to see him back on after he’s been back on the courses for a while.

Definitely do a rematch if Davies is up for it? How about at Royal St David's, his favourite course apparently. I've played it a few times, its a fantastic course.

Match is class but needs tubes commentating to bring the entertainment.

Needed a bit more chat with Simon, not everyone is a banter king, thats fine, but would have been nice to get into him a bit more about his career etc.

Can’t wait to see Davies back after he’s practiced a little! Clearly a good ball striker so will be good to see him enjoy himself when he’s competing more!

Good to see games are not rigged to be close proper competition. However felt sorry for Digs ( playing in front of cameras must be tough and jimmy openly asking the golf gods for one decent shot when he was 4 up won’t have helped 😂) and I think you either should have scrapped this one or reduced it to a 20 minute overview / highlights - for the first time I nearly stopped watching and whilst I didn’t I ended up thinking that’s an hour I’m not getting back. Not hating as still love the channel just honest feedback

Can't be nice when you're playing bad and the bulldog is rubbing it in. But that's the game. I remember Jimmy v O'hara being super serious and really tense, this was the same until Jimmy ran away with it and he was then happy to put the banter in.

As standards go, this video just didn't live up to your usual. It was actually the dullest thing I have watched for a while and I have watched good good videos before with Grant lol. The match videos need the presence of Tubes etc to just give it that bit extra. Tubes and Ange doing some caddy work and it allows you to chat and speak more. Just my thoughts on it. Jimmy didn't have anyone to roll off today. It can be a serious match and still have bants and interactions more.

Digger just couldn’t live up to the hype Bully gave him, but we all have bad games of golf! Jamie Redknapp, John Terry, realistically you can get those guys on no problem. Matty Cash is the one i would love to see, but tough with his schedule. Maybe Bullard/Ohara/Digger 3-ball 👏

Invited someone on who you havent seen for 5 years, give him no shots when hes out of practice and clearly nervous in front of cameras, then proceed to barely speak to him unless its to be frankly rude and unsportsmanlike as he has a very poor round. Some of the very worst ego stroking content I've seen.

A lot of pressure on Simon after all the talk. He's not been playing as much as he used to and played like a 12 handicap. Probably not used to all the talk too..... He then has to put up with old big mouth Bullard who probably plays every day and rubs his nose in every good shot he hit!!! Remember Jimmy he was a guest on your show! Maybe have a rematch when Simon gets his game going again.

Hi fellow golf life legends.. Gotta say, that's was a difficult watch and listen.. A completely craic free zone.. I know it was a bad day at the office for Simon, but surely you would have watched the Bentley game or Hearns before tee-ing it up...We are all looking to watch some brilliant golf, but we come to love & listen to the bants... Do agree with a few that the video was a bit flat. Would have preferred Ange walking round with them for questions and another cameraman but might have been hard to get. I do think it’s different when you have someone come on whose been so hyped and they start off badly. We’ve all been there on the course when we want to walk off after 2 holes. Easier said than done to just start smiling for the next 17 🤣

No wonder it’s 5 years since they last played. It takes that long to get over Jim’s constant verbals. Even my ears hurt. Fair dos, he CAN play, and doesn’t everyone know it.

Such a shame. Simon is obviously rusty and/or low on confidence. Agree with other comments on here that it needed Tubes or Ange to lighten the mood in between holes with some banter. Doesn't help when you have Jimmy rubbing it in every hole, became painful to watch!
