Honestly, i would have agreed with you, if it weren't for Atlantis. Yes, he made a lot of gambles. But he is basically outclassed and outnumbered and yet, he came out on top. Imo Heracles is his strongest pawn and his biggest weakness. If he had Heracles, we wouldn't have crossed Atlantis because if he had Heracles, he would be overdependent on him. His only strategy would be, " send Heracles"
@@lookingforlove839well said, that's why he's the most "Human" person in Greek mythology, even though he's bastard in pre-atlantis, it takes one arc (Atlantis) to make me Grail him to 90 (planning to take him 120)
Yeahhh Gil is definitely held back by the story The main time where Gil completely ignores the plot is in ccc Everything else Gil is in it just seems like he’s nerfed so that servants who shouldn’t be able to even touch him(with or without the ego) can do it.
And FSF is the bronze medalist for octane level of the servants involved. It's only less powerful than the grand order and the mooncell. And Gil could've wiped the floor with most of them off the bat. That's how busted he is.@@young_dieg0301
A lot of other servants too are nerfed, Scathtach and cu are big examples Scathtach should be equal to Gil in terms of ability and powers gilgamesh is over powered due to legend scathtach is powerful without legend imagine if she was known 😂
@@ovain537Just Pretender. Faker is a Class for Body Doubles and the like, while Pretender means a Servant is acting as another Servant to the point of somewhat having their skills. The only one I could immediately point to as a real "fraud" would probably be Tokiyomi. Cause, correct me if I'm wrong, but this man was gassing himself up, only to get disrespected by Gil constantly, only got a W against one of the weakest masters in the war, and got stabbed in the back with his own knife by the man he mentored. Fraudulence, thy name is Tokiomi.
Nah Tokiomi is a good mage, he's just not good at reading people. It's why Kirei had to literally backstab him. Tokiomi would've roasted him on the spot if he went head on. He's also the only legit Master that Kiritsugu didn't fight directly despite the fact that Kerry had no problems squaring up with Kayneth and Kirei. And why is getting disrespected by Gilgamesh a sign of fraud? It's Gilgamesh bro. You need to thread carefully with him otherwise he'll have no problems turning you into swiss cheese
@@koharuyuuki3162 It’s not like Kerry avoided fighting Tokiomi or anything like that, he just didn’t care to/was wary of Gil. His ranking of the top 3 biggest threats in the 4th Grail War went as follows 1. Kirei 2. Kayneth 3. Tokiomi And this really doesn’t look that good when the remaining three are Kariya, Waver and Ryunosuke … all of whom are absolute trash in general. In a head to head fight, Kirei would have bodied Tokiomi with ease and the only reason he snuck him is so that Tokiomi couldn’t use a Command Spell to sic Gil on him instead. Same thing happens if Tokiomi fought Kerry and Kayneth, he himself is trash to them and the threat comes from Gil. Tokiomi’s only notable feat was somehow fluking his way into Rin and Sakura being super prodigies. Kayneth himself, on the other hand, was the prodigy. One of the youngest Lords of the Clocktower, youngest to ever reach the rank of Brand (2nd highest rank in the Clocktower below the Grand rank for monsters like Touko), is believed that he could have reached Grand if he didn’t die, the El-Mellois have a ton of powerful branch families that he had to compete with to get his Magic Crest and he clowned all of his competition with ease, created Volumen Hydrargum as his family’s new Supreme Mystic Code/crown jewel of magecraft just because he could in his early 20s, could mess with and alter the Master-Servant contract without much effort so he wasn’t the manager battery but was still the Master etc. Tokiomi isn’t a fraud but let’s not gas him up like he is anything special.
Gil has genuinely been consistently nerfed in all fate material except CCC. The plot is unironically his greatest foe. But people keep forgetting that antagonists are created for the protagonists to overcome them. All of his defeats are just waaaayyyy too convenient and too situational. I don’t think there’s a single fate material where Gil flat out loses meat to meat confrontation. Writing the way you have the protagonist beat him is harder than writing the actual story and that’s why every loss he’s ever had is still getting debated over to this day
Stan Lee once said that when it comes to powerscaling, whoever the writer wants to win at the time is the one who is going to win. This applies as much to Fate or any other verse as it does to Marvel. At the same time I also think that, to an extent, it can be considered bad writing if the writer ignores or breaks the rules of their own story just so a certain character can win. At that point don’t even have the matchup to begin with. That’s just my thoughts on it though.
The whole part about the author ignoring the rules of his own story to make a character (or his group) win makes me think of the joke that is the final arc of SNK where the abusive plot armor is constant (I hoped until the last chapter for a turnaround to make fun of the shonen nekketsu atmosphere of the last chapters but it never happened and what was on the way to becoming my favorite story in all media is now a even bigger mess than the last seasons of GOT). Oh and ofc the end of a certain fight in JJK that caused a huge mess in the manga fandom this year (for those who know, it's not the conclusion that bothers me but the way of reaching it).
@@Gonzora The thing is, the entire ending of AOT is like that because it is what Eren wanted. It's ridiculous that no one died, but that's only if you don't consider that Eren literally knew what was going to happen. He didn't know everything prior to getting control of the founding titan, but he literally knew he was going to die at the hands of his friends before the fight starts. I mean he literally could have killed them all at any point if he wanted, but he did nothing and let Ymir do her thing. So I don't think that you can really bring up that case as a comparison. Also AOT's ending was peak idk what ur on about. Also the JJK thing was pulled of very well, most people who actually analyze it think so, it's just the idiots who only care about You Know Who who are so loud. The actual "action" being seen isn't the important part of the scene, so it being offscreen doesn't matter lol.
Gil is indeed the biggest fraud ever in type moon, imagine being adressed as the GOAT while he got demolished by a highschool boy who likes to bone his sword😭
Gotta be the person who worked for a Beast, worked with a juvenile Beast, watched multiple Beasts almost show up, and then gathered up all the power that should be needed to become a Beast, only to fail pretty much because they didn't pay attention to the most fundamental and (from my perspective) easiest requirement for the entire state of being a Beast. To make it worse, when explained to them their mistake, they couldn't figure out a solution fast enough despite being some "next level" mastermind that almost always seems to lose.
I would say Rama but the writers shit on himself so lol it doesn’t count. Maybe Raikou with how much she gets hyped she takes Ls she shouldn’t be taking. I do wonder who’s the Satoru Gojo equivalent in Type Moon.
@@jalter1361I was thinking the topic was only about the moon cell. I think the strongest servant is Arjuna since he literally destroys the universe in his NP
@@ShiraFuyu2022and what has Zeus done in the level of Arjuna? "I'm as strong as god" does that suddenly make that true? Of course not. I don't care about statements alone. Show Zeus destroying a whole universe
a possible example should have been Nero "Red Saber" from Fate/Extra, she lost, not just a simple battle, but the Grail War as a whole. rocked up to final boss Gawain and got beat while her master's life is forfeit. pulls a deus-ex NP to reset the war, get new master, redo the war, and repeat. kicker is the whole time Gawain didn't get the reset, the dude is rocking the whole competition with sensory deprivation and both hands tied behind his back and he still wiping the board. if it wasn't for her resets cheat (something that's never repeated throughout the entire fate franchise btw), there'd be no Fate/Extra to make her franchise debut.
Yh considering he has no hesitations in swordfighting Alceides in sf and he should be similar to Enkidu in terms of h2h combat who can bully people like Richard it's kind of weird how fsn makes him out to have no combat skills. Ig you can reconcile it that Gil never felt the need to fight h2h or simply felt he was above it fighting the likes of Shirou.
@@Vid_21 I feel that’s more to die with the “kingly” part of him being summoned into the servant container and kings have no need to know how to use blades.
Because Gil NEVER 1v1’d Saber in a sword battle? Have you not read the novel? Gil went Moon knight on Saber and did random BS GO! This was the nerfed Saber mind you.
Man, I really love Cu Chulainn, he is my top dog (no pun intended) in FGO. It gets on my nerves everytime I see him lose because I know what he is capable of, what he has to offer, but everytime they kill him off for no reason. And everytime someone bring up him losing I just say: Well, other six servants also lost there and no one is making fun of them, Cu just happens to be summoned more likely then others, and have bad luck with masters. And let's not talk about how nerfed his NP gets everytime, because he has a broken ass NP and it never hits purely because of plot armor.
People who keep complaining about antagonists being "frauds" do not understand that they're being written to be overcome by the protagonists. Power scaling is useless simply because that's not how stories work.
It's called memeing. It's funny to meme characters who claim to be the strongest and yet they lose alot because their fans are aggressively stupid and annoying so we had no choice but to create the term "fraud" for them to shut up. I would also have to thank the JJK fans for starting the trend.
Because majority of fans already know that Berserker-class is one of his weakest servant class. In myth, Heracles is more of a tactician that's why he is more suitable as a saber or archer.
@@ghio43Heracles as a Berserk is pretty strong for FSN, only a few could fight against him, he can die to Sasaki NP, but then, he becomes immunes to that, the same thing to NP of Chulain
To be fair, FGO messed so much with power scale and the previous independence of the different series that many Servants are frauds only due to the explanations cooked by the writers (not just Nasu) to justify some of the challenges. Nasu talked about the true potential of VOID yet he puts her in defensive combat against high tier Servants, and she barely does shit even before the appearance of ORT and CHAOS. The counterforce itself is beyond retarded, like I would sooner trust my own punches than rely on a system that makes no sense (is worse than a shitty computer after being attacked by random spam mail or inffected downloads). The Excalibur from LB6 is a jobber itself because ORT was introduced as an invincible foe that requires the highest tier of Mcguffin to beat it, making it and the collection of Servants you have pointless. And the big bad themselves are too passive, to the point that the Alien Goddess randomly decided to attack the second time and couldnt be bothered to finish us after Chaldea proved to be problem. The longer a story goes with the same system for its arcs, the bigger the amount of jobbing. And FGO forced everyone to follow its rules.
Darius is what happens when a munchkin get’s his hands on a reality warping artifact. This bastard is so monstrously strong that it defies understanding. His destruction of the world is predicated on an artifact, yes… but isn’t that the exact same thing with everybody else in with a similar plan? Goetia needed 3000 years of human history as kindling to power his schemes, and Draco had something similar. Darius is an audacious bastard who attempted to usurp God, and only failed because of a single oversight and Kid Gilgamesh’s intervention. His plan will never cease to amaze and shock me, in all honesty.
gilgamesh is a king it looks like he just pops up to take a look at humanities progress and then dispears maintaining his rule as the overseer of humanity
Apparently he should be stronger then even archer gilgamesh because it's states to be his perfect class and Apparently his mentle state is more comparable to his castor self ie he won't hold back based on his ego ie ruler gilgamesh would just pull Ea out and call it a day if he feels he needs it now as his entire reason for living after his castor development is ruling and protecting his country ie just imagine archer gilgamesh with the mentality of castor ie he's unstoppable for normal characters
Dawg we not gonna talk about that mf Kayneth dawg had everything he needed to win a grail war. 1)Top tier servant (at the time) 2). Literally a wall of disruption made of mercury that can heat seek you from anywhere 3). The advantage of a 24 layer bounded field around your workshop, apparitions etc. guarding your position. And somehow you lost to a mad lad with bits and pieces of a magic crest and an origin bullet. 🤷🏿okay ig
Diarmuid? You calling Diarmuid a top tier servant? He is mid at best. Even his achievements pale compared to his counterparts in that grail war like Gilgamesh, Iskandar and Artoria. Even Lancelot
@@lookingforlove839 Diarmuid had the same curse every lancer has, Plot. Every time saber has had to face a lancer somehow she gets nerfed, then every time said lancer gets a time to shine they get called back. Iskandar never pulled back. Gilgamesh does as he pleases. Lancelot was a whole ass walking black air force in humanoid form. Damn near bullied the whole cast. But he was uncontrollable. Don’t downplay the boy just because of plot convenience. He literally almost had no opportunities to shine.
imma speak my mind (the truth ong), grand servants as a whole are frauds, don't get me wrong i LOVE all of em except the rider from tunguska, but the grand title itself is smoke, doesn't mean much except you can be summoned in a grand saint graph, which COMPLETELY turns the table, since as of now the only ones that still remain "grand level" without the grand graph are roma, camatzoz and kuku (and castoria?), all the others feels either too strong with the graph or too weak without it, orion for example was never meant to be that absolute unit that would solo atlantis and Olympus, he was likely only summoned to deal with koyan larva once and for all (which is what we do in olympus) but got involved with artemis, by this perspective he got both heavily buffed (grand graph) AND heavily nerfed (far from the core of the lostbelt so he can't go all out, against opponents he's not specialized for) by the story which is very interesting to me but also confusing
Hassan AND Romulus put out as grands. Orion being the grand archer is so random I’m not gonna lie. It feels like they just wanted to fill out the grand spots
@@axtaria5196Also, he sucks. The guy was nothing more than a tool in Olympus and even in his own interlude, it's boudica who had better development. He is the grand tool
Just out of curiosity, what would people have as the Grand Archer, if not Orion? Could Alcides be a good candidate since Heracles is said to be stronger as an Archer?
What I think is hilarious is that as much as we love Shirou/Archer and can imagine a God-like version of him we all ignore how Apocrypha and F/GO recontextualized him. Archer was as strong as he was because he was on home turf. He's a Japanese hero in Japan. In his hometown. He obviously doesn't have a lot of mystery as a future hero and locally he probably wasn't viewed as a hero even then, but rules are rules.
Archer should upscale of anything achieved by Shirou in any of the three routes if trying as hard as he can (which he usually doesn’t as he’s True Neutral). His max thusly should be relative to what he shows against berserker or if you push Shirou against Salter in Sparks Liner High. He also doesn’t get a location boost as a result of him not having a legend. You can see it by his stats being identical in FGO
Normally that should be the case but with shirou it is not. He doesn't have legend to power him!!!! He doesn't get strengthened by home turf. He doesn't have legend to power him like all others he is counter guardian. He ain't hero. So no hometurf buff for him unfortunately
@@Jordan-ud4qv Identical to what? We don't really have a basis for his stats in the Grail War vs FGO. Just his similar parameters which are either lower because Ritsuka is a poor master candidate, technically, or maxed out beyond what Rin could support but without the buffs because of the Chaldeas system don't tell us what his base is. It's true that his minimum should be the amalgam of all Shirous, but that's only the him on the Throne of Heroes. The Grand/True Emiya Shirou. Each summoned version is an avatar based on the needs of the war and the limits of the system. Otherwise he's automatically got access to Zelretch's Jeweled Sword which gives infinite mana, some fraction of Muramasa's abilities, and a minimum of his servant abilities because both Miyuverse him & Heavens Feel him have comparable physical stats. UBW Shirou & Miyuverse both would contribute versions of the UBW YEARS earlier than normal. And all of this without including Emiya Alter's powers.
@@icescorpion7050 In this case it's just the hometurf advantage like Semiramis using power from just dirt of her homeland to build the Hanging Gardens NP. The local myth buff seems to be separate and is why after everything we saw Vlad was still considered the strongest in the war despite being younger than most.
@@originalShorai yeah but vald still had legend that is the thing. If he didn't have legend he wouldn't get the buff. Because legend means people know of him and how much people knows is how much stronger they get. Archer(shirou) nobody knows about him so how can there be buff?
I love the dude but yeah it's quite literally a joke that one of the guys on par with Hercales who was such a monster on the battlefield he died Fighting 100 man on his feet And in day night the Fate route is the best look for him going to the point where Carnival Phantasm turns him into Kenny from South Park😂
i can only think on space ishtar.. but well.. divine creatures but those who are tecnically inmortal and dies cuz plot or cuz a caracter had the item that can bring true death.. like king hassan using his sword to inflict the concept of death into an INMORTAL BEIGN.. thats what i could call a fraud caracter xD he loses the grand name.. but win it again xD thats doble fraud.. xD
On paper Saber (Artoria) is said to have the strongest NP, and granted we can't see it because she will need to remove 13 restraints, which will probably never happen but she can get sort of close, the issue comes when she doesn't remove restraints at all, like the only mention of her removing the restraints on Excalibur aside from invisible air is in FGO where she removes 1 restraint, meanwhile proto Arthur here removing 7 restraints like it is nothing, forget proto Arthur, freaking Gray removes I think 5 restraints from Ron, but Saber doesn't bother to remove any more then one or two from her own sword even when she is going up against stronger opponents is saddening honestly, people think she is weaker than proto Arthur because of this, and I know my comment has different topic from the video, we all know she is not a fraud in a literal sense but damn it sure feels like one when you consume any media she is in.
@@NovaViper-x7m I did say she isn't a fraud but it sure feels like it. Avalon is her NP but it is lost meanwhile she had Excalibur on her, the whole comment was regarding Excalibur and how she doesn't remove restraints, it was a concept that was also present in F/SN on Day 10 Shirou says that is sealed in numerous boundary fields (restraints) yet she didn't remove a single one, because she doesn't it directly some people in the fandom genuinely believe that Proto-Excalibur is stronger because it has restraints and Artoria's Excalibur doesn't not only that it is herald as a strong if not the strongest NP because it defeated Sefar and yet here it is losing to a horse with wings and what not. Now, I know she can't reach that level without removing all restraints but like she doesn't need to even removing one or two restraints can increase its power significantly as shown in FGO when her Excalibur ranks up to A++ from A+ by removing a single restraint. She at best had one restraint removed but she could have removed one or two more easily specially against Gilgamesh.
darnic and vlad III from fate apocrypha was build up to be the final boss of apocrypha Darnic almost winning the previous grail war and defeating zouken but in apocrypha they don't really do much vald had a decent fight against carna but outside of his territory he was nerfed was forced to be a vampire then lost to amakusa
in his vampire form he was getting jumped by like 6 strong servants and Amakusa was a counter because hes naturally like that and the holy magic was effective on Vlad (just watched the fight right now and all the servants were buffed by Jeanne's ruler command seal ontop of Amakusa using black keys and Kyrie Eleison which when Kirei did this it basically put Zouken out for good)
I mean, that was 1) to demonstrate how powerful Amakusa was as an offensive Ruler and 2) Amakusa was _specifically_ an exorcist, making him a hard counter to Vlad as a vampire. And having 'a decent fight' against Karna is actually quite an achievement, considering how strong Karna is.
I like how Gil and Jason are the two charcter that are mostly getting brung up in these comments, makes me think of them as somewhat of the Dante and Vergil of the Fate series 😂.
Video suggestion: For either Fate/Zero or Fate/Stay Night, review which characters would have received the greatest benefit from being summoned in the Berserker class as opposed to their original. Additionally, would the war’s berserker’s have fared better having been summoned in their traditional class options.
The close one is always Saber class basically Arturia or Mordred, the other is Chu Cu Lain. Other class basically really technical which if they put into berserker, they will lose a lot of skills.
Maybe I missed it but did you ever finish your chapter breakdowns for fgo? Probably the best videos on RU-vid for people who are new to the nasuverse and don’t want to play the mobile game to understand the story imo
I think Gilgamesh is a problem of "bad writing" he is genuinely one of the strongest non-grand servants, and the main reason he was fucked over so much is that the writers tend to overbloat his ego
1:45 Stupid tought I know, but when i firdt.heard this I pictured Lancelot getting dumpstered by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. Again, I know it's stupid, but now I want a Michael Jordan servant, I just don't know which class.
Siegfried/Armor of Fafnir/Fafnir wank in Quarzposting really shows how people only take raw power into account and ignore skill and tactical abilities that can negate them and context. I see some people hyping up Armor of Fafnir to be better than Herc's 12 lives but its just an 80% resistance shield against attacks B rank and above that comes with the extreme cost of a one shot weak spot and the loss of magic resistance. Mind you, AoF is unable to stop non-damaging abilities even below B-rank, as demonstrated in the Orleans arc of Mortallis Stella manga where Siegfried was immobilized by Fleur De Lys from D'Eon. Also, Some claim that Fafnir could easily survive a direct hit from a "full powered" Vasavi Shakti by citing the start of the APO collab. But there was no guarantee that it was a full powered one and it appeared to be a hit to the wings given how Sieg lost his wing and Ritsuka was not melted from the intense heat of VS if it hit the body. Plus, Fafnir-type dragons have been killed by humans like living Sigurd and Siegfried as well as frequently encountered and disposed of by Chaldea on a number of occasions.
Gawain def in my number 1 fraud spot. Bro is said to be invincible at day IN LORE and yet got beaten by King Hassan at camelot singularity, beaten by Hakuno on Extra AND by emiya alter on the pseudo singularity Seraph. This man is NOT invincible bro 😭
Finally someone speaks the truth about Grand Archer... Orion had to have a bow specifically made for his task, was boosted as much as possible and with favorable conditions... still needed two shots to do his work. Plus I don't understand why people can't see Gilgamesh as Grand Archer. The qualification is literally: Being able to hit anyone at any distance around the globe. And Gilgamesh's GoB can do that!!!! He likes to open them behind his back, but it has been shown time and time again he can summon them around his enemies, no problem. And for those that say that he can't, it's cause the story nerf him every single time. Gilgamesh for life!!!
This is another reason why I hate olympus. Look at how much sacrifices we made to beat Artemis. That battle against Zeus sucked compared to it. This supposedly omnipotent god who is far superior to every other god gets taken out in the most underwhelming manner. There was no tension to that fight. All he did was shake our mobile screens
Maybe not a Fraud, but Fate has no bigger a JOBBER than Saber Artoria. Between just Stay Night and Zero, she's in Almost every fight and almost never is actually advantaged and almost never actually dominates an engagement. And, sure, you can mostly blame Shiro for being a shitty faux-mage master, but damn it feels like the only times she's ever actually a threat to anyone is when she's evil.
I mean low hanging fruit Jason trying to think of a legit awnser of someone who isn't either gased up/ret conned to back up what they are saying or get nerfed by the story needing them to lose , but my mind keeps going back to Jason who's only claim to fame was letting his ex wife hard carry him and taking the credit
Even tho Jason acts like a asshole sometimes he's incredibly smart and lostbelt 5 proved that. He wasn't the leader of the Argonauts for nothing his leadership and decision making skills are top tier.
There's a video here on RU-vid that has Stan Lee talking about how he got fans wanting to know the winner of character X vs character Y. His answer was whoever the writer wants to win for that particular story, so stop asking. That's more or less how I feel about power-scaling. The comment about Sabers being frauds for instance, Sabers are essentially the main character Class - or as close to - so of course they're going to have the most battles where they struggle for the sake of dramatic tension and more interesting fights. Which should be the focus rather than meeting Twitter's expectations on who should theoretically stomp who.
What do you think will happen to the main character in fgo? And I don't mean like after the plot is done, I mean like when they die. What type of servant would they be?
@@baconking2890 if Fujimaru gonna have a buff he will be to strong because currently he is stonger than grand tezcatlipoca with his territory advantage and daybit
Low key I’d be interested in the idea of a video on how Fate UBW would play out if Enkidu was summoned there. I know it most likely wouldn’t happen, but it’d be interesting to see how Enkidu would view Gilgamesh during that.
Naw that’s just the story making challenge + no being a servant buff give her her actual stuff Avalon and Excalibur and she is washing a lot of grail wars no diff
I think Nasu said that Void shiki is the strongest underneath neco arc. Plus she basically the root so I thinks its like a she is the root so she can do anything typa deal
I don't know if im misinterpreting the word "fraud" with this example, but I'd like to say SIR MORDRED, you know, the one that sealed the deal on KING ARTHUR, is incredibly weak. Sure she is relatively strong, but only when pinned against people that are below her. She is a member of the round yet it feels like she'd loose a fight against anyone barring Gareth, including Agravain, who mind you, in actual legend, got 1 tapped by Lancelot and Mordred didn't. As badass as she looks, she always needs help no matter what when fighting someone that should be her caliber. I could also point out how her whole thing of being more effective against Artoria never actually comes up, or does her instinct, or her battle continuation. These are things she is claimed to have, yet are never actually well appreciated that heavily because of her bad luck i guess. I love mordred as much as the next guy but it hurts to see her this weak considering who she is. She is the very definition of a baseline fighter
The king of thiefs gilgamesh, I'd be sick to my stomach if I was a servent and saw someone chucking MY noble phantasm at clayface(no DC comics)cause of a loophole
I don't know if @Tsiah IV will see this but could we get a what if video similar to the Knights of the round table vs Heracles group but the combatants will be Gilgamesh facing Cu Chulainn and Achilles in a 1 vs 2 Handicap match
Gilgamesh jobs to living humans, mainly because he sees them as so much weaker, he doesn't even give his best effort. Against other servants, outside of Berserker, he takes them far more seriously. Also, remember that during the Fate route, Gilgamesh tanked an Excalibur to the face and stayed alive long enough afterwards to spout whimsical bs.
Finally someone who said karna is universal at least i am seeing some people who say ooh his strongest weapon is vasvi shakti which is only planat level bruh my bro litteraly has bharamastra in his arsenal which is not even his strongest weapon if karna wanated fate apocrifia would have ended in 2 episodes
Speaking of Darius and going back in time, what would have happened to the world if Melty didn’t go back in time after Beast Kiara killed the protagonist?
I kind of want to say kiritsugu just because of the pedestal some people put him on, the point of his character is his tragedy but a lot at the time people just look at the guns and how let's say he comes off as an antihero but he didn't win, he had a hand in starting the fire and he only saved one person. If not him I guess Rin's dad out of the Masters. Servants I will give it to the king of jabbers, it all comes down to the fact that Gilgamesh just has an ego and gets in the way almost all the time, it's part of who he is
Kiritsugu never really was a fraud in terms of fighting cause he never picked fights, mostly tried assassinating the masters. He wouldve killed kirei without the command seals even if he had no Avalon, essentially decommissioned and wouldve finished off Kayneth who is a high level Clock Tower mage and for a human him and kirei were stated supposedly to be able to go head to head with a (presumably low tier) caster outside of their territory or a revealed assassin. about him saving people though, we all know how that one went
i just love the way how he included the illya prism that series hardly gets any attention despite being so good other than the shiro character design in S1 but its went better by each season
I would say there arent any servants that are frauds, otherwise they would never have made it to the throne of heroes. They all have their strengths and weaknesses and are usually restricted by their lore or some other reason. The only type moon characters I might consider a fraud is Shinji. The man talks but never delivers.
Biggest Type Moon fraud is Shinji. Might sound obvious for the viewers, but look at it from the perspective of Fate characters. Shinji thinks he's the shit and everyone else has to deal with him. Rin has to give him some level of "respect" as a mage from a prestigious family. Sakura, despite doing what he does, doesn't want him dead. Rider, Medusa no less, has to respect the fact that she has to let Shinji live or else it would hurt Sakura. Shirou even bought in on the Shinji hype, even if for a little bit, because he was being naive. As viewers we know what type of character Shinji is suppopsed to be, but in the setting of the world it's not that simple.

Question for a potential video: What would you say are the quantifiable metrics that put someone into candidacy for Grand roles? Do you think Luck factors in, or in the case of bad luck, bar candidacy?
It actually depends on who's the beast, if koyan didn't became a beast alaya wouldn't appoint orion as the grand archer, the grands are selected based on specific set of skills needed to counter the beast, the only exception is romulus because it was the chaldea with the help of servants that summoned him
