The Brompton Electric is an interesting e-bike. It comes in the same form factor of the original folding Brompton Bicycle but has power assist to help you get around quickly and arrive where you are going fresh and a little less sweaty.
I've had the Brompton on loan for a couple months now and have used it for over 200km of travel, this video is about my experience and about who I think this bike is for.

Excellent review! I'm thinking of purchasing a C Line Electric, and this is the best review I've found. You've covered everything I was wondering about, and even a few things I hadn't considered. I particularly liked your observation about how the power assist comes on (abruptly). This will be my first Brompton, and I'd been wondering if I should just go with the standard version. I'm still on the fence, but at the very least feel better informed thanks to your thorough review.

Re not assisting soon enough when you start off - starting pedalling with your left leg will kick in sooner than with your right - if that helps

I think ARCC and another company called Boost are addressing getting ahead of cars at the lights.

Having seen that part video for uphill, I concluded to buy Electric Brompton although it is very expensive but as an old man liked me. Thanks a lot .

I have both regular and use electric for my commute uphill to work. I do not sweat on way to work and it's perfect. I love both equally.

Having lights available without thinking about them on the Brompton is killer ( in a very good way) It is so much hassle having to sort your lights out. I am a big fan of the E Brompton as it suits my commuting needs but I am painfully aware of its limitations which is why I am keen to try companies like ARCC who seem to be innovating. I love the feel of an E bike especially when I don't have the schedule to attain suffering or grovelling in the gutter but I do like to suffer on the bike.

9:31 tbh this is what I like about the brompton! It feels natural and not like a motorcycle. Makes it easier to pay attention to the road, at least for me

I don't mind either. I think the film maker might use a lower gear to start with.
