Honestly, having the child or close family member of a horror villain NOT playing any major role in the story and/or trying to take over for the villain would be nice. The whole next generation thing is kind of overdone. I know Freddy has canonically had a daughter for ages, but I’d be okay if she didn’t show up beyond maybe a brief mention in any future movies or reboots.
Freddy doesn't think John is wrong because Freddy KNOWS he has a daughter because he tells him John is wrong in that scene in a matter of fact way. Freddy's goal was to get more victims, not reunite with his little girl.
I think that if they continue with the Freddy Franchise no doubt they probably do a 4 part mini series having Maggie confront her past & finding out if she inherited anything Freddy left behind before he was killed by the mob.
Liked the back storytelling on origins, Dream Demon arc that explained how/why Freddy always killed & returned in sequels. Loved Lisa Zane, Lezlie Deane, And Yaphet Kotto. Doc, first adult to faced & attacked Freddy.😊
Would've loved the idea of Freddy & Michael teaming up with Jason being more anti-hero unknownly helping the good guys but killing few of them as he doesnt like being used by them just as he was used by Freddy.
ACTUALLY, SHE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN STOP HER FATHER'S NIGHTMARISH CARNAGE IN "FREDDY'S DEAD: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE" & I DON'T THINK SHE WILL BE THE NEXT FREDDY KRUEGER, ANYWAY! LOL! 👹🎞️🎬🎥🤣
Lisa Zane played Maggie Borrows in Freddys Dead 1991, She also.started in The Nurse, Monkey Bone 2001 & Coriloanus 2002, her brother is Billy Zane he starred n Titanic 1997, along side Kate Winslet & Leo Dicaprio, Dead Calm 1989 along side Nicole Kidman and Sam Neil, Phantom 1996, & Back to the future Part 2 1989 along side Michael I Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Crispin Glover and Elizabeth Shue. Lisa and Billy Zane are of Greek heritage. 🇬🇷
Sounds like DBD missed the boat with freddy. They got the remake freddy when they should have got the original. Then they could also have his daughter as a legendary skin.
ah right, the protagonist from 6 was his Daughter, right? It's one of my least watched, instalments. The 3rd one was the best, the rest take a back seat to that. I did enjoy the 5th movie, as a child though. It was watered down enough, to not be completely terrifying.
They should integrate all three of those comic books leave off of Freddy's Dead with Catherine and revive Freddy just like in a three comics matter of fact take all inspiration for the three comics and start a new nightmare it would be so good
The logic of this franchise never made any sense to me. A). Freddy kills exclusively the kid on Elm Street but clearly ignores the rest of the town of Springwood?? B). A street counts as whole town? Makes no sense unless a whole town is named after a street.
It's called a nightmare on Elm St because the parents that killed him were from Elm Street. His vengeance only starts there. Every movie has a different set of rules because he's a dream demon and no dream is the same also his range grows each movie. This is touched on in jason vs Freddy as he needs fear to gain power he also in a prior film drives the last kid on Elm street insane and gets him to leave town while running from Freddy to break the barrier that kept him in Springfield. The sad part is the remake killed a genius story, at the end of Freddy vs jason it appears as if jason won but then Freddy winks, this is why, Freddy draws powers by fear and kills in the dream realm and jason once finished with his killing spree returns to water his place of death and biggest fear to sleep until awoken. So Freddy let's him win insuring that jason returns to his slumber trapped in his worst fear constantly dreaming there for becoming endless renewable energy for freddy.
Springwood is probably a town of 50k at most. Probably 30k in the 1980s. If Freddy took revenge on the Elm Street parents he'd have likely killed all their kids pretty quick. Knowing his sadism Freddy probably just kept terrorizing kids dreams all over town after his particular street was finished.
Up until now I totally forgot about this. A terrible story arc and it was unfinished for a reason. One has to wonder if she gave inspiration to create X-23 in Marvel. Side Note: The actress is famed actor Billy Zane's older sister.
Freddy's daughter is a nonsense character what should have never existed. The original concept of Freddy had no wife and kid. He was a vagrant drifter and a drunk. His mother also wasn't a nun who was raped by 100 maniacs. She herself was a patient in a mental hospital that burned down the night Freddy was born, and the institution's location was 1428 Elm Street. Look up "The Life and Death of Freddy Krueger" and I also recommend checking a fan film based on it called "The Confession of Fred Krueger". It's here on RU-vid and it's brilliant. It a profoundly more interesting backstory for Freddy than the one we got in Nightmare 3, 5 and Freddy's Dead.
@@Dogbullet I'm not really a fan of the second movie, but I like Dream Warriors and Dream Master quite a bit. They went overboard with the humor, but it is what it is I guess. I think Nightmare 1, 3 and 4 works well as a trilogy. I just wish 3 and 4 were a bit darker.
Daughter of Kreugar? Yeaaah, is this a new-thing? Don't have very high hopes for this. A Girl Boss Freddy Kreugar that loves the JV Football team :'D ... the chorus of "niiice" from the Dads, etc. hahahaha.
*TARA NEVER WAS BILLY DAUGHTER* Did You even WATCH what You refere to?! 😂 Barrera stans with half assed knowledge, I SWEAR. 😂😂 Melissa medicore character was so called Billy's daughter, but no one, not even Tara referred to it. She was crazy, obviously. Could as well be in her head. 😂
In a unpopular opinion I suppose I am glad that his daughter didn't carry on old Freddy's work , I have not read the comics so when I do I could change my mind, but in my mind it just wouldn't be the same Freddy, as it's not, and I don't think you can have a nightmare where it's not someone playing Freddy, I also will say this I hated the remake but thought the Freddy character was good, same but different, there were small nuances that kept the 2 different actors different enough yet there was the same dark humor, and just a black hatred for the teens. It's a hard line to walk to be different but yet the same, so as much as I can't believe I'm going to say it, a female Freddy might be to different.
MY OWN THEORY ABOUT FREDDY’S DAUGHTER & HOW SHE CAN KILL HIM: I imagine Freddy’s daughter being a heroic dream monster; I theorize it takes a special type of monster, to permanently kill a nightmare-demon, that is Freddy Krueger. That’s how I imagine Freddy’s daughter, she is the opposite of her biological father, and I imagine she has unbelievably monstrous abilities. I imagine her abilities are so great, that they are much more powerful, than her birth father Freddy Krueger, who is a NightmareDemon. In addition I imagine her, as heroic dream monster, who appears has a creepy looking form, when she is fully powered up.
*worst movie in the franchise....the kills were corny even freddy death in this movie was butt cheeks....if the developers were smart they could have used this movie to create the orgins of freddy/ reboot of Freddy telling the story from beginning of time especially since they kinda showed us a lil small glimpse into the early life of freddy when he was tryna be a family man and his daughter was a kid ...they could have pretty much treated Katherine kinda like Andy in Childs play where he was kid at first then he got older still had run ins with chucky but with Freddy Movie they could have introduce all the elm street kids that had roles in each movies as their younger self with Katherine being involved and as she got older she ends up finding out about her father and later on meeting Nancy pretty much setting up Nightmare on Elm street Francise but telling it from different a way*
