The panel discuss whether Thierry Henry was a big-game player and whether the fact he never won the Ballon d’Or or the Champions League with Arsenal should count against him. Ronaldo won the Champions League and Ballon d’Or at Manchester United, as well as a load of titles, but was his best football played at Real Madrid?
Sergio Aguero and Manchester City underperformed in the Champions League, but he did win loads of domestic trophies and was responsible for ‘Aguerooo!’, the most iconic moment in Premier League history.
Didier Drogba won everything there was to win at Chelsea, scored in pretty much every final he played in and delivered Chelsea’s first ever Champions League. And what about Mohamed Salah, who’s been prolific since joining Liverpool, as well as winning the Champions League and ending the club’s long title drought.

Henry inspired a generation Aguero provided club defining moments, the highest scoring foreign player in PL history. Salah is probably individually better, but he isn’t “greater”. He’s scored a lot of goals but they’ve ultimately not counted for as much as the other players on the list

Ronaldo in 3 seasons achieved everything the rest of them did. Can't say the same thing about the rest. 1. Golden Boot from midfield - checked 2. EPL (3 in a row) - checked 3. Champions League (double) - checked 4. Scored in Finals/big games - checked 5. BALOND D'OR - checked 6. Entertained (dribbles, freekicks etc.) - checked The fact that he did all this BEFORE his prime and in shorter time is a testament how ahead he was of the rest. No other player did all of the above in PL. Period.

Salah change Liverpool right when he arrived. Three 90 points finishes three champions league finals and the PL goals record for a season. Doesn’t get more significant than that. Salah already had more PL goals than Drogba. Salah is a big game player scores against city and United all the time. Assist as well. This narrative of Henry not being a big game player is such a lazy and manipulated point. Henry skinning Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, destroying Inter at the San Siro in the champions league aren't big games? I'll throw this name out there...Juninho. I think it's a travesty he never gets mentioned regarding foreign exports. The impact he had not just on Middlesbrough FC, but on the city as a whole, can't be understated...so much so he had THREE spells with the club, helped them win their first piece of silverware in God knows how long, and to this day is still given a hero's welcome in the city....

I must have missed out on them pointing out that 1. Drogba redefined the lone striker role. 2. Every team that played direct football ( or honestly speaking lumping out - long ball football) would demand hold up play like...Drogba. 3. Name me one striker who made more gaps for "off the balls" runs for their wingers or space for their cut- back crosses than Drogba. 4. Henry, Ronaldo, Salah with bias aha, Aguero, Drogba. But yeah they're all great players regardless of record and whether they did better elsewhere in Ronaldo. Drogba incredible in finals, that header vs Bayern even as LFC fan is etched into my memory as a football fan. Aguero huge PL moment, Salah has had some great moments, Henry is king of the PL. Can't really split any of them aside from Aguero not winning the Champions. League
