I think the reason Buckethead and Conehead were so high on the list is due to how common they are in later waves. Sure, they aren't that special, but they will be spammed to the limit in some levels.

Fun fact: Octo Zombie attacks are predictable. He binds plants on his row first, if there are no active plants on his row he will attack the plants on adjacent rows

What I hate about Octo zombie is he never attacks a plant himself, even when one is close to him, he’ll just throw his octopus at it, and proceed down the lawn.

I've got a personal grudge against the Poncho zombie because whenever I tried to beat the vase breaker levels for the wild west segment I'd usually get screwed over by how tanky they were when metal and how you might overinvest in one when it turns out to be plain. Outside of vase breaker though since you can set up your defense however they are much less annoying though I swear they spawn rather early on in levels for such an early world

I sorta agree with this list. To be real through, I didn't notice some of the annoyances since at one point the lightning reed became my standard plant for at least half the time. The sheer number of reeds would rip through waves since they cross lane chain. If there was a weakness to that, I'd have a lot of one use plants (chili, poison shroom, primal potato mine, iceberg, etc.) and I'd use primal walnut for tanking.

I think you're undervaluing the knight and king zombies. With lower sun you can plant less, but with the threat of jester your heavy damaging plants (repeater, winter melon etc.) Are effectively disabled, therefore knights take less damage. You are also rushed to kill them too in case wizards are in the game. Furthermore the knights keep getting galvanised by the king so even if you bring magnet shroom or something the king could render the ability useless.

I actually found out that Rotobaga from Frostbite Caves is actually a pretty decent counter against octos, if you place them in a cone shape, they will be able to deal with any octos being thrown at them while the other plants are taking down the big octo from behind and in addition they are pretty good to bait out fishermen zombies too, since they are a flying plant they won't drown if pushed into the water.

Apart from the obvious troll picks, you can tell that a lot of the people that took the survey never got past the first few worlds. It's annoying to them because those are the zombies that made them quit before seeing anything else that's worse. I would have expected Neon Mixtape Tour and Big Wave Beach zombies to be high up on the list, but not Ancient Egypt and Dark Ages. (The exceptions being Wizard, Jester, etc.) That's understandable if you never played PvZ1, since that game was basically a tutorial for the sequel. Most players would jump into PvZ2 with the same mind-set, not knowing how more engaging this game is going to be. That's probably why Ra Zombie is that far up because they added an enemy that actually forces the player to be more active. That's something the first game barely did outside of mini-games and certain levels. This also proved the comment I made on that poll video. There are so many zombies that have similar abilities that are on the list, or are close in tier to one another. Worse, there are zombies that are essentially just upgraded versions of the ones shown in the video but are either not on the tier list, or the first variants have more votes than the former.

This is a certified conehead sweep moment. I didn't get to take part in the poll but very nice video!

Absolutely no surprises that the zombies who's unique ability is just being tankier and therefore spammed more often at later levels and rounds were ranked as pretty annoying. And for King, well. Making regular zombies take more hits than they would normally is pretty annoying, even if they're not really hard to deal with

Honestly, a lot of these zombies can be taken out no problem with Laser Bean, which is why that's by far my favorite attacker in the game. Great video!

Personally for me i would put relic hunter at least in the top 15. He is a swashbuckler, except incredibly hard to kill for some reason. He eats and blocks your backline to let excavators and parasols move closer to make it even harder to deal with them.

Hair Metal Gargantuar is the hardest zombie in pvz2 in my and GNVS' opinion Bcoz he appers so early in the Greatest Hits endless zone which make them practically unplayable

i am, really early in, realizing a problem with the way you went about this: limiting people to 3 out of a hundred REALLY hurt the stats, as people couldn’t choose more appropriately. if you ever consider doing this again, i’d give 5 instead of 3, same points system, just adding 4 and 2.

My guess is the reason SOME of these zombies are particularly hard are because some people aren't very good at the game (remembering what plant does what to counter specific zombies), OR there are specific stages where there's restrictions on the plants that COULD help make the annoying zombies easier, but are taken away form you, so you have to everything the hard way, making them a lot more annoying than usual. *Back then, all you had were the limited amount of plants that came with each world, and one or two premium plants. NO SEED PACKETS, remember? Almost all zombies were really annoying. We didn't have the OP Caulipower or Teleportato Mine back then.* Also, some people might have an easier time with certain zombies cause they're Pay-To-Win types of players, meaning that they can easily pay real-world money for powerups, premium plants, and other stuff to make things easier for themselves, making most annoying zombies pointless. It seems part of your subscriber base is either filled with trolls or people/children who aren very smart/haven't gotten very far into the game because one of these "annoying" zombies made them rage quit or something because they couldn't figure out a way around them. Also, Buckethead, Conehead, and Browncoat are classics, so it might be on the side of "trolling", but also on the side of countless numbers of these things AND how iconic they are across all eras. I think I can understand some specific placements: The "buffed" zombies (the ones that came in the "expanded world" levels, basically taking the originals, adding a fresh coat of paint, and making heir abilities stronger/faster. Same goes for the Modern Day/PvZ1 Zombies that got unfairly upgraded in PvZ2.) Zombie King [Dark Ages] (Annoyingly tough. Buckethead health, I think? Always at the right side of the screen, while you're taking care of the zombies on the left side, closest to your plants. Can upgrade a regular zombie into a knight zombie. On the harder levels, 2 or 3 spawn at a time and more will appear if you don't take care of them. A heavily armored knight zombie about to reach a lawnmower with the king spawning more knights in another lane is no fun.) Excavator Zombies [Lost City] (Loved his reveal in this video. His shovel is made of aluminum or some non-magnetic metal, I think. Seriously annoying, especially when paired/synced with Parasol Zombie. Pretty much forces you to use an insta-kill plant.) Jester Zombie [Dark Ages] (Nice pun there. XD Launches back the EXACT SAME projectile with the same power launched at it with the rapid speed, and keeps on spinning.) Octo Zombie [Big Wave Beach] (What more can be said? Almost made me rage quit PvZ2 completely when I was younger and almost made me completely delete the game and my progress along with it.....)

I don't get the hate for Wizard, he's actually often helpful by letting frontline plants do not take damage (especially useful in missions where we have to protect frontline plants to win), overall slow fire rate and very fragile. Octozombie, on the other hand, has plenty of health and octopus doesn't disappear when you kill him, plus it's close to impossible to remove octopus on far-left lanes when you don't have backward shooting plants or one-use plants, so I'm not surprised he win as most annoying. Personally I'd vote for Hair Metal Gargantuar, for these who play endless survival would know what a massive pain in the butt he is, especially considering he comes in huge waves and before you could even build defense for him, so only hope is quick sun producing plants and LOTS of primal wallnuts. As for the comments whine about z-mech, zscorpio and etc, I'm not surprised they aren't on list because they appear only in special event missions and most people fed up with them and no longer play, plus by the time you'd already get a very high level plants to deal with them.

Thanks to the player, Jay B, I learned something that I did not know. This came about as a result of another player who said the Starfruit is useless. Jay B. responded and commented that the Starfruit is very effective against the Octo-Zombie. So I tested it out and sure enough if you include the Starfruit in one of the slots when there is an Octo-Zombie, he will not be that annoying. Only thing is that my Starfruit is level 9 and so I am not sure what the minimum effective level needs to be. But for sure, level 8 will destroy those octo's he throws, even on plants in the far left column. So don't knock the Starfruit Plant too much. You need to plant a minimum of one column, and for best results, two columns.
