Who is the Safety Coordinator?

When looking for a Safety Coordinator, the company really needs to look for three things, a Mentor, an Educator and a Promoter of Safety. Being a Safety Coordinator is not being the Police but someone that can teach all aspects of safety in the workplace.

Totally agree,and have always wanted to be safety coordinator,ive worked oilfield long yrs and hvy equipment and seen alot..and definitely interested..

I aspire to be you, I am currently looking to do the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and safety. my Goal is to a health and safety coordinator in the Oil and Gas industry, hopefully for BP. I'm 23 years and I got a long way to go, i'm exited for such.
